President Obama and Liberal Democrats in Congress are directly responsible for mind-boggling levels of federal spending and debt. This fiscal insanity has destroyed millions of jobs and is destroying the American economy.

Even so, President Obama, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, and their allies are aggressively obstructing those of us who are trying to save the nation from economic ruin.

President Obama and Harry Reid seem to have adopted a political strategy to preserve “business-as-usual in Washington” – refuse to work with Republicans to reduce spending, force a government shutdown AND blame the shutdown on Republicans!

We must send a message to those on the Left.  First and foremost, manipulating a government shutdown for political advantage, instead of confronting our spending crisis is simply unacceptable. To those, like the President, who think running more than a 9 TRILLION dollar deficit over the next decade is “making cuts” – it’s time to get serious. And to those – like Harry Reid – who want to stay at the trough of taxpayer’s money with ridiculous pork such as funding cowboy poetry festivals – We the People will no longer stand for this!
