During his speech, Obama looked up at a banner hanging on the wall, and said to the workers, “It “It is great to be in a union shop, and especially one as old as this union is.” Then pointing to the banner, he said, “A Union shop since 1848.” … then he continued to talk about what that banner stood for, and how important it was to display it to demonstrate union support.
One of the workers then pointed out to Obama that the banner was actually the flag of the State of Wisconsin, which joined the U.S.A.union in 1848, and that the shop was, in fact, non-union.
This Obama gaff was reported by a local radio station in Milwaukee (1130AM), but was NOT picked up by any of the major news networks. I guess that they didn’t want to embarrass this “ain’t got no friggin’ clue “President”!
Obama skipped the remainder of his scheduled stops in Wisconsin, and went directly on to Chicago.
Since the media won’t do its job reporting this kind of thing, the only way for the news to get around is by us … on the Internet.
Do your job like I just did mine, so that the U.S. voters will know what really happened, and just how damn dumb this guy really is!
