Congress Stole Millions from Our Veterans to Resettle Afghanis!

Written by Tim Brown

In what can only be described as a disgusting move on the part of the united States Senate, they took money from cuts to military veterans in the 2016 budget in order to fund the resettlement of Afghan interpreters to the united States.

Rachel Soltzfoos reports:

The Special Immigrant Visa program allows Afghan interpreters who aide the U.S. government to get out of harm’s way by resettling in the United States, and last year the Senate authorized a major expansion of the program. The $336 million price tag of the expansion fell on U.S. military veterans in the form of increased pharmacy co-pays, The Daily Caller News Foundation has learned.

“That’s bullshit,” former Army combat veteran Alex Plitsas told TheDCNF. “Military families shouldn’t be paying for the SIV program through a pseudo tax. The program should be funded outright because of the service our interpreters rendered. This is infuriating.”

Last year’s defense bill increased co-pays for military families, saving the government about $1.5 billion, according to the Congressional Budget Office (CBO). A portion of the money saved was used to pay for the extra Afghan visas, a spokesman for the Armed Services Committee told TheDCNF, although the bulk of the money went elsewhere. Budget caps require lawmakers offset increases in spending with budget cuts.

This is all about the Judiciary Committee’s consideration of expanding this same program into 2017.

You might guess that John “Songbird” McCain is at the center of the push, along with Senator Jeanne Shaheen. Both senators are pushing for more visas, on top of the 7,000 already allocated through Fiscal Year 2017. However, neither of the senators have publicly addressed how to pay for it.

The CBO estimates the proposed increase would bring the cost of the program up to $446 million over the next ten years, from its current cost of $336 million.

So, as far as I’m concerned, how can any veteran or American support such representatives who care more for America’s enemies than they do their own veterans? Shame on those who support this!

On top of everything, I want to ask these senators where they are getting their authority to spend this money to bring foreigners to the US. They certainly didn’t get that authority in the US Constitution!

“Senate Republicans recognize the contribution of certain Afghan citizens who have been helpful to our war effort,” a spokesman for Republican Sen. Roger Wicker, who sits on the Armed Services Committee, told TheDCNF. “However, any bill to expand the SIV program should contain acceptable offsets and go through regular order through the Judiciary Committee.”

No, Senator Wicker! There is no authority in the Constitution for this to even be considered. If individuals want to help Afghans, fine. However, this is a usurpation of the Constitution to fund such migrations and rob those who have served to protect America. Again, shame on the US Senate for even considering these measures.

America’s veterans are committing suicide 22 times a day and those who represent us are more concerned with spending our money unconstitutionally to bring Afghan interpreters over here than they are getting the Veterans Administration in order and caring for those who have served America faithfully.

Am I the only one that sees a problem with what is being considered here?

The ugly truth about Flint is that it was run into the ground by Democrats. And Democrats have predictably ranted about Governor Snyder because he is conveniently enough a Republican. Meanwhile here’s what the Democratic mayor was getting up to.

Mayor Karen Weaver has been an outspoken advocate for the people of Flint during the city’s water crisis, but she is now facing tough questions about what happened to some of the money sent to aid the city’s recovery. The money was supposed to help families impacted by the water crisis, but a former Flint city administrator claims she was fired when she reported Mayor Weaver may be redirecting the charitable cash for her own political gain.

Former city administrator Natasha Henderson claims she was fired after reporting Mayor Karen Weaver may have been telling staff to direct water crisis donations to her own personal funds.

Henderson filed a federal lawsuit Monday, May 9, in Detroit U.S. District Court, claiming she was fired from her position after asking the city attorney’s office to investigate claims Weaver may have been telling city staff and volunteers to send potential water crisis donors to her own personal account, rather than the official fund managed by the Community Foundation of Greater Flint.

The lawsuit claims Weaver’s executive assistant Maxine Murray reported around Feb. 9 to Henderson that “she feared going to jail” after Weaver instructed her and a city volunteer to direct donations from the Community Foundation of Greater Flint’s Safe Water/Safe Home Fund to a different fund, named “Karenabout Flint.”

The lawsuit claims Murray allegedly told Henderson that she was specifically directed to tell donors and potential donors step-by-step how to donate to the Karenabout Flint fund through its website, rather than instruct them in the steps to donate to the Community Foundation’s fund.

Weaver is a Democrat. Not that you’ll read that in most of the stories about the issue. This is just more Democratic dirt as usual. I chronicled some of the Dem backstory a while back.
In 2002, Woodrow Stanley, the three-term Democratic Party mayor, was removed from office by angry voters due to a $30 million deficit. He didn’t accept the blame for the disaster. Instead he blamed racism.

“The stench of racism that reeks [from] this election will linger in the nostrils of this community for decades,” Stanley said. In reality, plenty of black voters had turned out to drive him out of office.

After a state takeover put Flint back in the black, Woodrow “I Blame Racism” Stanley faced off against Don “The Don” Williamson, a convicted criminal and car dealer. The Don won and running for reelection, he told residents that, “I don’t lie to nobody! The city is the most solvent in the state of Michigan.”

Flint was as solvent as Detroit. In reality there was a $4 million deficit. Williamson was accused of lying about the deficit to get reelected. Around that same time, Time named Flint the “most dangerous city in America”. After a threatened recall election, Williamson resigned and decided to run for governor as a Democrat while claiming, “I’m going to go down as the greatest mayor this city has ever had.”

Governor Jennifer Granholm had unleashed the disaster by signing an executive order ending the state of emergency in Flint and claiming that, “The citizens of Flint can take great satisfaction in that the financial cloud that has lingered over the city has been lifted.”

“I expect the city to remain on sound financial footing into the future,” the failed Michigan politician, who would enjoy a brief career working for Al Gore’s ultra-leftist Current TV before losing her job due to the Al Jazeera sale, claimed.

Target’s stocks are imploding as over 1 million people have now signed the boycott pledge against the company for its bathroom and changing room policy to allow members of both sexes and those who are confused about their gender.

Tim Wildmon, president of the American Family Association, the organization that hosts the petition, said that there were nearly 75 people per minute who were adding their names to the petition.

“That’s a million families who are going to spread the word about Target, so they may not get those customers back,” Wildmon said.

Target’s “management is just going to have step up here [and] say ‘We’re selling hammers and hats, we’re not into social engineering,’” he added.
The boycott was announced April 20 by the association, one day after Target revealed its decision to favor its few transgender customers and staff over the rest of the population. A study of the 2010 census data suggests that only about 1 in 2,400 adults change their names to match names used by the other sex.

Wildmon’s association wants to affirm people’s privacy in bathrooms and changing rooms, but also to block the progressives’ multi-front push to stigmatize and outlaw any recognition of the average differences between women and men, and between boys and girls. The LGBT agenda “is being rammed down people’s throats, and people are losing their jobs because of it, and it is becoming so that you can’t think differently from these people or you’re [called] a hater or a bigot,” he said.

Since the decision was announced, numerous comments, articles, and videos protesting the store’s one-sided decision have gone viral. Public opinion has moved and hardened in opposition to the previously bizarre notion of dual-sex bathrooms and changing rooms, and Target’s brand as a family friendly store has taken a hit, as the online conversation shifted from its claim of “cheap chic” to worries of privacy, sexual predators, and the anger at the company’s disregard for the reasoned judgement of its middle-class customers.

“This is how people can fight back — they’re not going to shop at Target,” said Wildmon.
Of course, Target doesn’t want anyone to know about the plethora of sex crimes associated with its stores in light of their bathroom policy. Some try and push an agenda about women who mutilate their bodies and pump them full of hormones to appear as men and ask, “Do you want this person to use the women’s room?” However, the reality is that is just a ploy for the perverts to walk casually into the restroom to molest, rape and exploit women and children. In other words, this entire thing is the LGBT agenda that is being used to overturn the law and allow the lawless to dictate standards.

However, Target is going to pay a steep price for their immorality. In fact, they already are. Since the boycott was announced, the company’s stock lost $4.87 per share. Lest you think that is a small number. That’s a nearly $2.5 billion hit and 5.8 percent in just 10 days!

AFA has stated that Target could simply solve the problem they have brought on themselves. “One solution is a common-sense approach and a reasonable solution to the issue of transgendered customers: a unisex bathroom,” wrote Wildmon. “Target should keep separate facilities for men and women, but for the trans community and for those who simply like using the bathroom alone, a single occupancy unisex bathroom option should be provided.”

Wildmon not only encourages people to sign the pledge, but also to contact Target and let them know you’ve gotten involved and taken action. Call Target Guest Relations at 1-800-440-0680.

This is how you do it America! If you want to teach corporations that sponsor immorality, you have to hit them in the pocketbook. They understand money, and shaming them and depriving them of money is a good lesson in humility for Target and other companies that promote the sexual deviancy of the sodomite agenda.

Mexican Uprising: Trump Drives Left Insane

If you want to find the Donald Trump campaign event in California, just look for the raft of leftist bodies floating in the ocean at the foot of a cliff, because The Donald has driven the Left over the edge.

From Orange County to the Republican Convention in Burlingame, Trump is being met with protests that are reminiscent of nursery school tantrums more than anything else. From throwing eggs to beating up Trump supporters, to jumping up and down on top of police cars, the Left has come out in force this weekend to tell U.S. voters that no way, no how will the adults be allowed to make any decisions in this election.

All manner of socialist-inspired organizations from La Raza to the Koreatown Immigrant Workers Alliance turned out to protest Trump, vomiting their social justice warriors into the streets, even forcing Trump at one point to hop a fence to get around a human chain and get to his own event.
A screen grab from Drudge Report showing a child protester with a sign that says “Make America Mexico Again.”
While every radical left-wing issue was represented, hands down the most prevalent group was the loony pro-illegal immigration crowd, flying their Mexican flags, cursing white people and demanding that Mexicans “take back” California.

In one wire photo making the rounds, a young child is shown holding a sign that says “Make America Mexico Again.”

Then there was the chump dressed as “Captain Mexico” (instead of Captain America), not to mention countless signs calling Trump a Nazi or the devil (suck it up, Satanists).

Combining a Trump appearance with this weekend’s annual May Day communist stupidity in California is a little like mixing nitroglycerin with gunpowder, so police remain on alert.

It’s pretty clear from the intensity of the demonstrations that the SJW crowd has completely snapped. Anti-psychotic drugs all around should be the order of the day.

While this may seem like typical behavior for unhinged leftists, it’s not normal for the regular people who are being swept up by anti-Trump fever, even in California. Make no mistake, this whirlwind of chaos and bull is manufactured.

The only real question is exactly who’s paying to bus in the perpetually offended and offensive en masse. Some people have pinned it on the Hillary Clinton campaign. Clinton backer George Soros is always a prime suspect, as his Open Society Foundations have a penchant for funding people who wind up being at the center of groups like Black Lives Matter and various socialist organizations.

The current anti-Trump insanity isn’t confined to street protesters, of course. Strings are being pulled at some very high levels in political and media organizations. The Left and the Republican establishment (which honestly is also the Left) are deathly afraid of someone upsetting the apple cart, as they used to say.

For example, just the other day, the Mirror reported on a lawsuit, filed in California, claiming that Trump had raped a 13-year-old at a sex party given by one of his billionaire friends. In all seriousness, the Mirror boasted that the lawsuit threatened to derail the Trump campaign.

As reported in the Daily Mail, however, the lawsuit is apparently a hoax. The contact information for the plaintiff appears false, and the alleged victim doesn’t seem to exist. However, someone put some thought into the hoax, as the suit appears to have been written by a person with legal knowledge. The filer of the suit was unknown, as California allows anyone to file a lawsuit without being a lawyer or a plaintiff. Also, there was a waiver of the filing fee, meaning there was no money trail to whomever filed.

Although it’s not been publicly acknowledged or proven yet, the hidden irony in all this may turn out to be that representatives of the Left were the ones who put Trump up to the notion of running for president with the idea of helping Clinton, only to find they had started a boulder rolling downhill. Hence the current state of utter panic.

It’s been said by many people that liberalism is a mental illness. Nowhere is that more evident this week than in California, where the inmates are trying to run the asylum.

Uncovered Mailing Address Reveals Carly Fiorina to Nude Melania Trump Ad

A super PAC that launched a smear ad on Melania Trump in Utah has been linked to former GOP presidential candidate and Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina.

According to Breitbart, the Make America Awesome PAC, which ran the smear ad in Utah about Melania’s nude modeling, is run by political consultant Liz Mair.

Unfortunately, Mair isn’t that bright. On Make America Awesome’s website, it tells potential donors, “If you would like to donate by mail, send checks to: Make America Awesome PO Box 26141 Alexandria, VA 22313.”

Problem: P.O. Box 26141 is also the mailing address for Carly for America, the official organization for Fiorina’s former presidential campaign. It’s since been re-purposed as a general-issue political action committee.

Mair’s advertisement touched off a Twitter war between the Cruz and Trump campaigns over each candidate’s wives, during which Cruz has vigorously accused Trump of playing dirty. Fiorina, for her part, has been an ardent supporter of Cruz’s campaign these last few weeks, linking the original smear ad back to Cruz for the first time.
The smear advertisement against Melania (it’s disgusting and underhanded enough that we’re not going to show it here; I assure you that you can find it easily enough on Facebook if you’re so inclined) also managed to incur the wrath of some liberals who felt that it was “shaming” Melania.

Mair was open about the fact that she didn’t actually believe in the ad’s content, she just wanted to win.
Lovely. Of course, you, loyal reader, could argue that Mair paid for the ads; can we really prove collaboration between Fiorina and Mair?

While we can’t definitively prove it, we can come pretty close. See, Make America Awesome’s filings with the FEC show that, on its own, the PAC doesn’t have enough money to Make America Even Slightly Different Than Before. It only lists seven donors who gave over $200, in 2015-16, for a total of only $2,000. (That will pay for the post office box, but not a whole lot more.)

Fiorina made a bold stand for women’s issues during the campaign, pointing out Hillary Clinton’s “war on women” on multiple occasions. It’s a shame to see her, acting as a surrogate for Ted Cruz, maligning Donald Trump’s wife as a sort of modern-day Jezebel to get votes.
In one simple act, both Mair and Fiorina have thrown away whatever scruples and decency they may have had. If it turns out a desperate Ted Cruz is behind this, too, we can only say the same for him.

Please like and share on Facebook and Twitter if you agree this smear campaign is disgraceful.

Ever since Benghazi, Democrats have done all they can to bury the investigation. And Trey Gowdy just exposed their tactics.

Gowdy sought an assurance from Rep. Elijah Cummings, D-Md., that Democrats would agree not to leak important information from the hearings. He did not get it.
“As recently as this afternoon, I offered Mr. Cummings total, unfettered access to, and control of, transcripts if he simply agreed he would not selectively leak them. He would not give me that assurance,” Gowdy said in a statement.
Gowdy said Democrats had threatened to release transcripts from witnesses that included White House National Security Adviser Susan Rice, Deputy National Security Adviser Ben Rhodes, former Defense Secretary Leon Panetta and former CIA director David Petraeus.
“Once they stated their intention to misuse transcripts, I could not in good faith allow them to do so. Mr. Cummings likes to frequently lecture people how ‘we’re better than this,’ but his actions and the actions of his staff with regards to this investigation unfortunately prove otherwise,” Gowdy said.
Gowdy added that he has “no choice but to protect past witnesses, future witnesses, confidential material and the integrity of the investigation by allowing the Democrats equitable access but not control.”
To protect documents from spilling out and distorting public opinion, Democratic staff can view the documents, but not have possession of them.
“[I] would be pleased to provide copies of these transcripts to Minority staff and members for your own custody just as soon as you commit to stop the practice of selectively releasing certain transcripts while ignoring the release of others,” Gowdy wrote.
So Democrats want to be able to selectively leak the parts of the documents that fit their narrative. This isn’t about getting to the truth for them — it’s about keeping their agenda afloat.

We choose the nominee, not the voters: Curly Haugland – Senior GOP official

Political parties, not voters, choose their presidential nominees, a Republican convention rules member told CNBC, a day after GOP front-runner Donald Trump rolled up more big primary victories.

“The media has created the perception that the voters choose the nomination. That’s the conflict here,” Curly Haugland, an unbound GOP delegate from North Dakota, told CNBC’s “Squawk Box” on Wednesday. He even questioned why primaries and caucuses are held.

Haugland is one of 112 Republican delegates who are not required to cast their support for any one candidate because their states and territories don’t hold primaries or caucuses.
Even with Trump’s huge projected delegate haul in four state primaries Tuesday, the odds are increasing the billionaire businessman may not ultimately get the 1,237 delegates needed to claim the GOP nomination before the convention.
This could lead to a brokered convention, in which unbound delegates, like Haugland, could play a significant swing role on the first ballot to choose a nominee.

Most delegates bound by their state’s primary or caucus results are only committed on the first ballot. If subsequent ballots are needed, virtually all of the delegates can vote any way they want, said Gary Emineth, another unbound delegate from North Dakota.

“It could introduce Paul Ryan, Mitt Romney, or it could be the other candidates that have already been in the race and are now out of the race [such as] Mike Huckabee [or] Rick Santorum. All those people could eventually become candidates on the floor,” Emineth said.

House Speaker Paul Ryan, who decided not to run for the White House this year, said in a CNBC interview Tuesday he won’t categorically rule out accepting the GOP nomination if a deadlocked convention were to turn to him. But on Wednesday, a Ryan spokeswoman said the speaker would not accept a Republican nomination for president at a divided convention.

Democrats experienced the last true brokered presidential convention to go beyond the first ballot in 1952. Republicans came close at their 1976 convention.
“The rules haven’t kept up,” Haugland said. “The rules are still designed to have a political party choose its nominee at a convention. That’s just the way it is. I can’t help it. Don’t hate me because I love the rules.”

Haugland said he sent a letter to each campaign alerting them to a rule change he’s proposing, which would allow any candidate who earns at least one delegate during the nominating process to submit his or her name to be nominated at this summer’s convention.

If the GOP race continues at the same pace, Trump would likely have a plurality of delegates. So far, he’s more than halfway to the 1,237 magic number.

Trump split Tuesday’s winner-take-all primaries in Florida and Ohio.

The real estate mogul dominated in Florida over Sen. Marco Rubio, who dropped out of the race after losing his home state.

But Trump lost Ohio to the state’s governor, John Kasich. Trump also won Illinois and North Carolina. He held a slim lead over Texas Sen. Ted Cruz in Missouri early Wednesday.

Emineth, also a former chairman of the North Dakota Republican Party, told “Squawk Box” in the same interview that he’s concerned about party officials pulling “some shenanigan.”

“You have groups of people who are going to try to take over the rules committee,” he warned. “[That] could totally change everything, and mess things up with the delegates. And people across the country will be very frustrated.”

“It’s important that the Republican National Committee has transparency on what they’re doing [on the rules] going into the convention and what happens in the convention,” he continued. That’s because of “all the votes that have been cast in caucuses and primaries. Don’t disenfranchise those voters. Because at the end of the day, our goal is to beat Hillary Clinton or whoever their [Democratic] nominee is in November.”
Emineth said he’s worried that frustration would discourage Americans in the general election from voting Republican.

3 Of The Most Influential Men In America Just Attended A Secretive Meeting About Trump – They are Afraid

In a secret meeting far from the prying eyes of the press and public, some of the most powerful leaders of Silicon Valley talked about the same thing that consumes the rest of America — the Donald Trump phenomenon.

Apple CEO Tim Cook, Tesla CEO Elon Musk, Alphabet CEO Larry Page, and Napster creator Sean Parker all attended the annual American Enterprise Institute’s World Forum on Sea Island, off the coast of Georgia, along with a host of other business and political leaders.

Although the Huffington Post reported that Trump was the “main topic” of conversation, noting that strategist Karl Rove gave a presentation on how the Republican front-runner can be stopped, the fact that the meeting was in secret left most details hidden.

Although the Huffington Post reported that Trump was the “main topic” of conversation, noting that strategist Karl Rove gave a presentation on how the Republican front-runner can be stopped, the fact that the meeting was in secret left most details hidden.
“The key task now, to once again paraphrase Karl Marx, is less to understand Trump than to stop him,” Kristol wrote. “In general, there’s a little too much hand-wringing, brow-furrowing, and fatalism out there and not quite enough resolving to save the party from nominating or the country electing someone who simply shouldn’t be president.”

As the elite mull their next step, the fact that they are even doing so shows the spilt in America, wrote Matthew Geiger on Communities Digital News.

“Donald Trump’s popularity is the product of a political system that has failed to recognize and address the interests of the American people. Instead of addressing their deficits and showing a capacity to learn, those in the industry of politics have simply lashed out against Trump,” Geiger wrote.

“Second, it demonstrates to the political elite the limits of their influence. In order to shape public policies to reflect their special interests going forward, they must become far more strategic. Thus far, the political world has decided to take a stand against change in a ‘him-or-us’ showdown,” he wrote.

Grammy winner urges black mobs to provoke Trump voters

Grammy-winning artist Chris Brown is calling for mobs of black people to provoke Donald Trump’s supporters at rallies.

Do you support Trump? Tell the world with this brand new bumper sticker: “DONALD TRUMPS THE REST”

The Republican front-runner has dealt with unruly race activists crashing his rallies for months, but news that one of them was punched in the face on Thursday in Fayetteville, North Carolina, was too much for Brown to bear.

“Man, this s–t is getting crazy,” Brown, 26, said in an Instagram video. “Black people getting assaulted at f—ing rallies where you’re supposed to talk at. … What you need to start doing — all these black people, go together 40, 50 deep. See what they do then. Keep touching us, motherf—er.”

Roughly 200,000 people “liked” the post.

“God will have his revenge. F–k Trump and f–k the pigs. Without our black culture, Asian culture, Latin culture, Muslims and any race that you don’t approve of help you to be who the f–k you are,” Brown added as text accompanying the video.
