Joe Biden’s Mouth Creates Gay Marriage Fiasco for Obama
On Meet the Press this morning, Joe Biden tangled himself and the Obama Administration up when he appeared to endorse gay marriage.
In the past, President Obama has, in what may be a political ruse, refused to endorse gay marriage. He famously said his own view on gay marriage has been “evolving.” But the Vice President, who usually speaks as a surrogate for the Administration, was more explicit on the subject:
“I am absolutely comfortable with the fact that men marrying men, women marrying women, and heterosexual men and women marrying another are entitled to the same exact rights, all the civil rights, all the civil liberties. And quite frankly, I don’t see much of a distinction– beyond that,” Biden replied.
His answer was somewhat muddled, and prefaced by a sort of disclaimer — “I am vice president of the United States of America. The president sets the policy.” — but chaotic, immediate reactions from his advisors and from Obama’s suggested he had gone too far.

US State Department commits to Agenda 21, coming out of Rio
From where I stand I believe we have reached the cliffs edge and we are looking over into the abyss
The US State Departments very recent commitment to Agenda 21 tells me this directive has many more tentacles than once thought!
The US State Department verbalizing support for Agenda 21 is probably our final death nail on our way to true Socialism and a definitive loss of our property rights and our freedoms we now enjoy!
Once we are fully committed to this, we will not turn it around! The world we know right this minute will not exist in it’s current form! Our once great country is turning into a Socialist state, complete with it’s brainwashed participants. We have turned the corner and are into the home stretch!
I still believe we can stop it! Join the fight, become aware for your self! Care about your country! We are the last bastion before Socialism takes hold! I hate to sound like chicken little, but very soon the sky will fall and we are gonna look up from the rubble and proclaim “why didn’t someone tell me?” “Where was my warning?”
Objectives of the UN Conference on Sustainable Development
The United States is pleased to participate in the PrepCom and to contribute to a successful Rio 2012 Conference on Sustainable Development. We have developed a robust process within our government to evaluate how far we have come since Rio, and to identify gaps that we need to address and emerging issues where we need to make progress. This effort is reinvigorating discussions on sustainable development within our government as we work together to identify shortcomings and replicate successes, and to avail ourselves of new science, information, technologies, and collaborations to make real progress toward achieving sustainable development.
In doing this, we increasingly understand that, while the United Nations and national governments are essential to sustainable development, our participation alone is not sufficient for achieving meaningful progress that improves people’s lives and the environment. We are beginning to engage our stakeholders – including nongovernmental organizations, the private sector, local and regional governments, and academia – all of which have important contributions to make to this process.
In this vein, a concise political document should only be a part of the outcome. We also need to look to major groups and stakeholders to bring forward good ideas and take on commitments and actions. Sustainable development can only be achieved when we enable all citizens and empower all stakeholders to take action to achieve a sustainable future. We need to invest in people, recognizing women and youth as key agents of change in society. We need to promote human capacity development through education, especially in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, and to enable the development of skill sets vital to emerging sectors of the economy. development path.
The partnership approach out of the World Summit on Sustainable Development continues to be an important tool for achieving sustainable development, and we should look at how we can strengthen and further legitimize this approach. For example, our domestic policy on innovation realizes that governments can catalyze and leverage action across stakeholders, provide enabling frameworks and incentives for private sector investment, invest in people, and facilitate meaningful collaborations across all stakeholders. Together, we can address market failures, invest in sciences and innovation, develop human capacity to meet today’s challenges, and adapt solutions for local contexts.
Good governance at all levels is critical to our ability to make good on our Agenda 21 commitments. While national governments will make the political commitments, we rely upon regional and local governments to implement new policies in the context of local situations, to enforce environmental regulations, to innovate and adapt solutions that will succeed in unique environmental, social, and political realities. Some of the most creative solutions to our sustainable development challenges are emerging in the U.S. from our state, regional and local governments. We should encourage communities to do integrated planning, to develop sustainability plans and a local Agenda 21.
Cities are hotspots for population growth, investment, and increasing demand for energy, water, food, buildings and waste disposal. Rapid urbanization is a challenge and an opportunity to focus our global efforts to minimize impacts from this development, to develop state-of-the-art disaster preparedness plans, to integrate planning with smarter designs, to build more livable communities and to address the needs of the poorest of the poor. With good governance and sound planning we can implement solutions that address the needs of people and promote inclusive growth that works for all strata of society. We can identify and leverage solutions to improve access to water, sanitation, food, and energy that will help us to achieve the Millennium Development Goals.
Chair, we support the Rio 2012 process and the need to review our progress and to identify gaps and emerging challenges. We want Rio 2012 to be forward looking, to address ways that we can learn from past struggles, build on our successes, and achieve a sustainable future. We believe that all countries should be able to monitor natural resources and make informed and integrated decisions about their development paths. We support efforts to measure progress and to share information and best practices.
Our challenges are significant. We recognize that economic growth is an essential component of any sustainable development strategy. But economic growth should not and does not need to be “development at all costs.” It should be balanced in a way that takes into consideration the environment, natural resource, and social dimensions, addressing poverty and improving the status of women. This is a challenging objective, but one toward which we are making great strides. We are committed to this process and to working with all stakeholders to identify actions we can take reinvigorate our commitments and to harness 21st century tools and human capacity to achieve sustainable development.
THE GOVERNMENT PURCHASED 300 NEW PRIUS’S AND HID THEM
NEARLY 300 NEVER DRIVEN PRIUS’S FOUND
What would you do if you stumbled into a secret warehouse full of brand new cars? Well, step into the shoes of Miami-Dade County officials to find out.
A fleet of 298 never-before-used cars, most of which are Priuses, were recently discovered by Miami-Wade officials, after having learned of them though a Spanish language newspaper. Most of the car warranties have expired with little to no miles on the odometer. The cars were purchased in 2006 and cost the taxpayers $4 million.
The county, aware of the political ramifications, immediately rushed 123 of the cars into circulation.
The Toyota warranty insures some hybrid parts for up to eight years or 100,000 miles. That doesn’t do much good when you consider the cars were parked in a hot and humid car lot, rusting away. The autoblog.com suggests there could be unknown damage done to the unused hybrid powertrain.
So how does one just simply lose 298 brand new cars?
An investigation is being done to determine exactly how this taxpayer funded debacle happened. It is believed that the cars got “lost” during the recall and eventual ousting of then Mayor Carlos Alvarez. Not surprisingly, he was removed from office after voters “felt, among other reasons, that he had been behind multiple acts of misappropriation of funds.”

Inflation: Not as low as you think
Forget the modest 3.1 percent rise in the Consumer Price Index, the government’s widely used measure of inflation. Everyday prices are up some 8 percent over the past year, according to the American Institute for Economic Research.
The not-for-profit research group measures inflation without looking at the big, one-time purchases that can skew the numbers. That means they don’t look at the price of houses, furniture, appliances, cars, or computers. Instead, AIER focuses on Americans’ typical daily purchases, such as food, gasoline, child care, prescription drugs, phone and television service, and other household products.
The institute contends that to get a good read on inflation’s “sticker shock” effect, you must look at the cost of goods that the average household buys at least once a month and factor in only the kinds of expenses that are subject to change. That, too, eliminates the cost of housing because when you finance your home with a fixed-rate mortgage, that expense remains constant until you refinance or move.
The group maintains that this index better measures the real-world impact of price changes, particularly for people on a budget. And, largely as the result of the recent run-up in gas prices, this “everyday price index” (EPI) suggests that Americans are being pinched far more tightly than the official inflation measure would have you believe.
Over the past year, the EPI is up just over 8 percent, according to the economics group. The biggest factor: Motor fuel and transportation costs are up 21.06 percent from year-ago levels. The cost of food, prescription drugs, and tobacco also have increased faster than the government’s inflation measure, rising 3.56 percent, 4.21 percent, and 3.4 percent, respectively.
On the bright side, prices of household fuel (natural gas and electricity) and supplies have increased only 2.74 percent; recreation and personal care products are up less than 1 percent; and telephone or Internet services are down 0.66 percent.
Admittedly, the purchases that the EPI tracks make up slightly less than 40 percent of the average household budget. But Steven Cunningham, research and education director at AIER, says these items are what contribute to the “sticker shock at the gasoline pump and the supermarket check-out line.”
Why are the Democrats Waging War Against Mothers?
Time to Awaken ‘The Mama Grizzlies’
Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin says Hilary Rosen’s comments about Ann Romney never having held a job “have awakened many Mama Grizzlies across the nation.” Palin also told Fox News’ Sean Hannity Thursday the comments from the Democratic strategist and CNN contributor show the left does not respect “women’s choices.”
“The comments that Hilary Rosen made today certainly have awakened many Mama Grizzlies across the nation,” Palin said, referring to Rosen’s statement that the wife of Republican front-runner Mitt Romney has no credibility to speak out on women in the workplace because of her role as a stay-at-home mother.
“Why is it that some on the left choose to divide, to incite with comments like that instead of just respecting women’s choices and what they want to do with the gifts that God has given them,” she said.
Rosen has no direct connection with the Obama campaign. But her statement on CNN that Ann Romney has “never worked a day in her life” has set off a firestorm that even had the president and First Lady Michelle Obama racing to defend Romney — and stay-at-home moms.
Still, Palin, a former GOP vice presidential candidate who is now a Fox News contributor, accused the Democrats and Obama of engaging in an attack on “conservative women,” whether they choose to stay at home and raise children or pursue a career outside the home.
“Let me share with you a quick text my sister had sent to me,” Palin told Hannity. “She said, ‘Oh, wait, didn’t these people slam you, who are the same ones slamming Ann Romney, because she stayed at home with five kids. Didn’t they slam you for not staying at home with your five kids?’ My sister goes on to say, ‘It’s obviously not a mom thing they are slamming, it’s a conservative thing.’”
Picking up on a Romney campaign charge that more women than men have been hurt by Obama’s economic policies, Palin added:
“It’s a sad commentary on this — this attempt to invalidate a woman for the choices that she’s making when really we should be unified. All women should be standing up for each other when you consider what’s going on in this country. All women, and all races, and all ages. We are all suffering under Obama’s economy, and we need to make changes.”

OBAMA DRAWS HIS POLITICAL VISION FROM SAUL ALINSKY
Newt Gingrich has repeatedly labeled President Barack Obama a “Saul Alinsky radical.”
He raised Mr. Alinsky’s name in his victory speech Saturday night after winning the South Carolina primary. On Sunday morning, Mr. Gingrich asserted on NBC that Mr. Obama draws his political vision “from Saul Alinsky, radical left-wingers and people who don’t like the classical America.”
Which likely raised a question for many Americans: Who is Saul Alinsky and why is he being invoked to argue there are fundamental flaws in -Mr. Obama’s leadership?
Mr. Alinsky, who died in 1972 at age 63, was a Chicago-born social-movement organizer whose success has been praised by Democrats and Republicans alike. He was grudgingly admired by conservative hero William F. Buckley Jr., who called him “very close to being an organizational genius.” Former House Majority Leader Dick Armey, a Republican, gives copies of Mr. Alinsky’s book “Rules for Radicals” to tea-party leaders to counteract his teaching.
His work to bring together residents of Chicago’s low-income neighborhoods to agitate for more services from the city in the 1950s and 1960s drew the wrath of Mayor Richard J. Daley, a Democrat.
Mr. Alinsky openly courted controversy and hostile reactions as a way to change society, and urged his followers to do the same. “The organizer dedicated to changing the life of a particular community must first rub raw the resentments of the people of the community; fan the latent hostilities of many of the people to the point of overt expression,” he wrote in one book. “He must search out controversy and issues, rather than avoid them, for unless there is controversy people are not concerned enough to act.”
In his book “Reveille for Radicals” he entitled the opening section, “Call Me Rebel.”
Mr. Alinsky didn’t believe in violence; his bomb-throwing was purely verbal. His approach involved interviewing people one by one to identify a common self-interest that could be used to galvanize the group. He had no faith in the political system to effect change for the people it ignored, and believed heavy pressure from outside was the only way to force the wheels of government to turn.
One of Mr. Alinsky’s earliest efforts, in 1939, was a campaign to unite black, white and immigrant workers to force improvements in the working conditions in Chicago’s livestock slaughtering and meat-processing plants.
Mr. Gingrich’s labeling of Mi Obama as a “food stamp president” and his effort to associate the president with Mr. Alinsky resonates with a conservative element of the electorate that sees Mr. Obama as pushing radical social change. Economists say the expansion of food stamps during the Obama administration is linked to broader joblessness and congressional moves to expand benefits.
Mr. Obama was hired in 1985 by the Developing Communities Project, an Alinsky network affiliate. After Harvard Law School, he taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago and advised community groups. While as a community organizer he was steeped in Mr. Alinsky’s politics, he told the New Republic in 2007 that “Alinsky understated the degree to which people’s hopes and dreams and their ideals and their values were just as important in organizing as people’s self-interest,”
Obama .campaign officials say the president long ago rejected Mr. Alinsky’s confrontational tactics and favors working within the political system to effect change.
Mr. Alinsky encouraged the use of the word “radical” to describe himself. But while his seminal work was titled “Rules for Radicals,” the seldom-cited second part of the title is “A Pragmatic Primer for Realistic Radicals.”
Adam Brandon, spokesman for FreedomWorks, which has been organizing tea-party activists and includes Mr. Armey as chairman, says the group gives Mr. Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals” to its top leadership members. A shortened guide called “Rules for Patriots” is distributed to its entire network. The Purpose is to counteract the Obama doctrine.
Mr. Brandon called the effort to associate Mr. Obama with Mr. Alinsky “a double-edged sword.” While Mr. Alinsky was an avowed liberal Democrat, “his tactics when it comes to grass-roots rebel organizing are incredibly effective,” Mr. Brandon said.
Democrats Blackmail Coke and Walmart Over Voter ID Laws
by Gary DeMar
If someone walks into a bank and says, “I’m John Doe and I want to withdraw $10,000 from my account,” I’m sure John Doe would be upset if it wasn’t John Doe who withdrew the money and the teller didn’t ask for identification.
Rep. James Clyburn, a Democrat from South Carolina is leading an effort to stop voter ID requirements. It seems that Coke and Wal-Mart support an organization that is pushing for ID laws and he wants. Clyburn is calling for a boycott of the companies, and the latest news is that Coke has caved by pulling support from the targeted group just five hours after it was called. Here’s what I think we should do. Let’s find out where Rep. Clyburn does his banking, claim to be James Clyburn, and when the teller asks for identification explain to him that if we don’t need an ID to vote we shouldn’t need an ID to bank.
Clyburn compared voter ID laws to segregation era “Jim Crow” laws. No, voter ID laws are designed to keep dishonest people from voting. They don’t have anything to do with Jim Crow laws since the ID requirement applies to everybody. There’s no test to get an ID, and blacks aren’t the only people who might not be able to afford to get one. If a person can’t afford to pay for an ID, the ID is free.
Democrats like Clyburn are political paternalists. They believe blacks are children that need to be coddled and made excuses for. In time, blacks begin to believe that they can’t do anything until the “Daddy State” steps in to help them. Booker T. Washington (1856–1915) had their kind in mind more than a century ago:
“I am afraid that there is a certain class of race-problem solvers who don’t want the patient to get well, because as long as the disease holds out they have not only an easy means of making a living, but also an easy medium through which to make themselves prominent before the public.”
Herbert Schlossberg’s masterful study of power in his book Idols for Destruction describes perfectly what Washington saw in his day:
The paternal state not only feeds its children, but nurtures, educates, comforts, and disciplines them, providing all they need for their security. This appears to be a mildly insulting way to treat adults, but it is really a great crime because it transforms the state from being a gift of God, given to protect us against violence, into an idol. . . . The paternalism of the state is that of the bad parent who wants his children dependent on him forever. That is an evil impulse. The good parent prepares his children for independence, trains them to make responsible decisions, knows that he harms them by not helping them to break loose. The paternal state thrives on dependency. When the dependents free themselves, it loses power. It is, therefore, parasitic on the very persons whom it turns into parasites.
Liberals need dependent voters; it’s the only way they can stay in power. “Because the state can only be a bad imitation of a father, as a dancing bear act is of a ballerina, the protection of this Leviathan of a father turns out to be a bear hug.”
UPDATE: Coke pulls support of voter ID law group 5 hours after being threatened with a boycott.
Obama Joins with Egypt’s Brotherhood at White House – Promotes Muslim Way of life
White House officials held talks with representatives of the Muslim Brotherhood in Washington this week, as the Islamist group threw itself into the fray in Egypt’s presidential election.
The meeting on Tuesday with low-level National Security Council staff was part of a series of US efforts to broaden engagement with new and emerging political parties following Egypt’s revolution last year, a US official said.
The White House pointed out that Republican Senators Lindsey Graham and John McCain, and other US lawmakers and officials had also met with Brotherhood representatives in Egypt and elsewhere in recent months.
“We believe that it is in the interest of the United States to engage with all parties that are committed to democratic principles, especially nonviolence,” said National Security Council spokesman Tommy Vietor.
“In all our conversations with these groups, we emphasize the importance of respect for minority rights, the full inclusion of women, and our regional security concerns.”
The Muslim Brotherhood’s political arm, the Freedom and Justice Party, said on Saturday it would nominate Khairat al-Shater, a professor of engineering and business tycoon, to contest Egypt’s first presidential election since a popular uprising ousted Hosni Mubarak last year.
The Islamists, who control parliament, had repeatedly said they would not put forward a member for the election in order to mitigate fears that they were trying to monopolize power.
North American Union will Attempt to Disarm the People of the United States – One of George Soros Commands To Obama
By Rachel Cohenby Rachel Cohen
The international insurgent President Barack Obama hosted Mexican President Felipe Calderon and Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper for talks on transnational trade and security Monday. This is a blatant display of an international socialist cabal, intent on further destroying the sovereignty of our republic and our individual states.
Mexican President Calderon proudly stated that his socialist government had confiscated 140,000 firearms in Mexico and then tried to imply that every one of them was bought in a gun store in the United States. He blamed the rash of violence in Mexico on the sunsetting of our unconstitutional assault weapons ban, suggesting new gun restrictions and confiscations in the United States as a necessity for Mexico’s security.
There was of course no mention of the fact that our southern border is being deliberately left wide open. And of course no mention of the fact that US Attorney General Eric Holder, acting as representative for the insurgent Obama and in correlation with the Mexican government, has been running guns to Mexico and drugs back into the United States for years now.
This communist parley was immediately followed by the announcement that the FBI had arrived in Florida to begin investigating the death of Trayvon Martin. It looks like what this whole thing is building into is an attempt at gun confiscation in the United States.
The US government has begun buying up millions of rounds of ammunition, in fact to the point that it has driven up prices and availability for we the people here at home. What we are about to see is a coordinated attack on US nationality and our sovereignty.
Considering the duplicit acts the US government has been caught in in the past three years, using our own military to disarm us is not feasible. In fact what is left of our military in this country is now being considered the enemy as our troops are themselves preparing to stop the socialist insurgency in the United States.
This transnational cabal that has been formed is in preparation for Mexican and Canadian troops to be brought into the United States to disarm the American people in the name of safety and, as psychotic as it sounds, justice for Trayvon Martin.
The Martin case has been latched onto by the socialists in an attempt to put forth the illusion of racial disunity to the extent that the federal government has now had to step in. We must realize that 90% of the killings in the United States are blacks killing blacks and this is a direct result of inner city poverty and the $40 billion per year drug war, which cannot be won because the insurgents in our government are the cartel making billions from the prohibitions to our freedom to smoke or ingest whatever we please.
There are no words to describe the extent of the duplicity and treason we are seeing occur right before our eyes. We must wrap our arms around our 2nd Amendment and prepare to drive the invaders from our borders. We cannot tolerate even the smallest further infringement upon our 2nd Amendment, having the realization that in the end game, these international soviets intend to exterminate us after we are disarmed.

To Recall the Commands Made to Obama by George Soros before Obama’s Election.
These were published on Soros’s web site and then quickly removed by him.
Soros’s answer to America’s transformation involve more regulation and more government intervention in the marketplace. Soros pours billions of dollars into the following and commands Obama to perform.
1.) Promoting the view that America is institutionally an oppressive nation
2.) Promoting the election of leftist political candidates throughout the United States
3.) Opposing virtually all post-9/11 national security measures enacted by U.S. government, particularly the Patriot Act
4.) Depicting American military actions as unjust, unwarranted, and immoral
5.) Promoting open borders, mass immigration, and a watering down of current immigration laws
6.) Promoting a dramatic expansion of social welfare programs funded by ever-escalating taxes
7.) Promoting social welfare benefits and amnesty for illegal aliens
8.) Defending suspected anti-American terrorists and their abettors
9.) Financing the recruitment and training of future activist leaders of the political Left
10.) Advocating America’s unilateral disarmament and/or a steep reduction in its military spending
11.) Opposing the death penalty in all circumstances
12.) Promoting socialized medicine in the United States
13.) Promoting the tenets of radical environmentalism, whose ultimate goal, as writer Michael Berliner has explained, is “not clean air and clean water, [but] rather … the demolition of technological/industrial civilization”
14.) Bringing American foreign policy under the control of the United Nations
15.) Promoting racial and ethnic preferences in academia and the business world alike
Financial Crisis
While the rest of the world financial markets were losing billions of dollars, Soros made billions of dollars for which he said, [he's] “having a very good crisis.” Some people speculate that Soros was responsible for the crisis by removing his large sums of money from institutions and betting against currency valuations.
George Soros Goal for the United States;
Creating a monetary crisis by uncontrolled spending by the Government to devalue the dollar thereby creating an opportunity for Soros to buy cheap dollars and when recovery comes – cashing out with multiple trillions. Leaving the rest of us to pay for the loss.
UNIONS AIM TO TRAIN 100,000 OCCUPY PROTESTERS – THEY TRY TO KEEP THE SO CALLED GEORGE SOROS REVOLUTION GOING
Welcome to Occupy Spring. The Occupy Movement has become more sophisticated, how? It now officially has big name backers like the Teamsters, Moveon.org and other groups.
Its 40 co-sponsors include big names the United Auto Workers, the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Moveon.org, and UNITE, the hospitality industry union.
When The 99% Spring was announced in February, organizers vowed to train 100,000 people. It looks like they’ll easily make that goal when their training programs kick off next week.
There are already 918 planned around the country. All the group needs is about 10 people at each session to meet its goal, and many of the programs have dozens of participants signed up.
But just how many groups are calling for Occupy action this Spring?
Jobs With Justice, United Auto Workers,National Peoples Action, National Domestic Workers Alliance, MoveOn.org, New Organizing Institute, Movement Strategy Center, The Other 98%, Service Employees International Union, AFL-CIO, Rebuild the Dream, Color of Change, UNITE-HERE, Greenpeace, Institute for Policy Studies, PICO National Network, New Bottom Line, Veterans of the Mississippi Civil Rights Movement, SNCC Legacy Project, United Steel Workers, Working Families Party, Communications Workers of America, United States Student Association, Rainforest Action Network, American Federation of Teachers, Leadership Center for the Common Good, UNITY, National Guestworker Alliance, 350.org, The Ruckus Society, Citizen Engagement Lab, smartMeme Strategy & Training Project, Right to the City Alliance, Pushback Network, Alliance of Californians for Community Empowerment, Progressive Democrats of America, Change to Win, Grassroots Global Justice Alliance, Campaign for America’s Future, Public Campaign Action Fund, Fuse Washington, Missourians Organizing for Reform and Empowerment, Citizen Action of New York, Engage, United Electrical Workers Union, National Day Laborers Organizing Network, Alliance for a Just Society, The Partnership for Working Families, United Students Against Sweatshops, Presente.org, Get Equal, American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees, Iowa Citizens for Community Improvement, Corporate Accountability International, American Federation of Government Employees, Training for Change, People Organized for Westside Renewal (POWER), Student Labor Action Project, Colorado Progressive Coalition, Green for All, DC Jobs with Justice, Midwest Academy, The Coffee Party, International Forum on Globalization, UFCW International Union, Sunflower Community Action, Illinois People’s Action, Lakeview Action Coalition, Progressive Leadership Alliance of Nevada, International Brotherhood of the Teamsters, Resource Generation, Highlander Research and Education Center, TakeAction Minnesota, Energy Action Coalition.
The movement also has a professor, leftist activist Lisa Fithian, who has been training anarchists how to protest and break the law for years.
In her makeshift classroom in lower Manhattan, Lisa Fithian turns to a group of several dozen students, squares her shoulders, and issues a challenge: “Does someone want to be a cop and come get me?”
Fithian stands to deliver her lesson. “Of the two choices, running away or going limp, what does running away communicate?” she asks.
“Guilt,” several people say.
She smiles and nods. “Guilt.”
When it comes to civil disobedience, there’s often a right and wrong way to break the law, and one of Fithian’s jobs is to teach the right way to hundreds of newly minted Occupy activists.
Fasten your seat belts folks.
Dear American liberals, leftists, social progressives, socialists, Marxists and Obama supporters, et al:
We have stuck together since the late 1950′s for the sake of the kids, but the whole of the 2008 election process has made me realize that I want a divorce. I know we tolerated each other for many years for the sake of future generations, but sadly, this relationship has clearly run its course.
Our two ideological sides of America cannot and will not ever agree on what is right for us all, so let’s just end it on friendly terms. We can smile and chalk it up to irreconcilable differences and go our own way.
Here is a model separation agreement:
–Our two groups can equitably divide up the country by landmass each taking a similar portion. That will be the difficult part, but I am sure our two sides can come to a friendly agreement. After that, it should be relatively easy! Our respective representatives can effortlessly divide other assets since both sides have such distinct and disparate tastes.
–We don’t like redistributive taxes so you can keep them.
–You are welcome to the liberal judges and the ACLU.
–Since you hate guns and war, we’ll take our firearms, the cops, the NRA and the military.
–We’ll take the nasty, smelly oil industry and you can go with wind, solar and biodiesel.
–You can keep Oprah, Michael Moore and Rosie O’Donnell. You are, however, responsible for finding a bio-diesel vehicle big enough to move all three of them.
–We’ll keep capitalism, greedy corporations, pharmaceutical companies, Wal-Mart and Wall Street.
–You can have your beloved lifelong welfare dwellers, food stamps users, homeless, homeboys, hippies, druggies and illegal aliens.
–We’ll keep the hot Alaskan hockey moms, greedy CEO’s and rednecks.
–We’ll keep the Bibles and give you NBC and Hollywood .
–You can make nice with Iran and Palestine and we’ll retain the right to invade and hammer places that threaten us.
–You can have the peaceniks and war protesters. When our allies or our way of life are under assault, we’ll help provide them security.
–We’ll keep our Judeo-Christian values.
–You are welcome to Islam, Scientology, Humanism, political correctness and Shirley McLaine. You can also have the U.N. but we will no longer be paying the bill.
–We’ll keep the SUV’s, pickup trucks and oversized luxury cars. You can take every Subaru station wagon you can find.
–You can give everyone healthcare if you can find any practicing doctors.
–We’ll continue to believe healthcare is a luxury and not a right.
–We’ll keep “The Battle Hymn of the Republic” and “The National Anthem.”
–I’m sure you’ll be happy to substitute “Imagine”, “I’d Like to Teach the World to Sing”, “Kum Ba Ya” or “We Are the World”.
–We’ll practice trickle down economics and you can continue to give trickle up poverty your best shot.
–Since it often so offends you, we’ll keep our history, our name and our flag.
Would you agree to this? If so, please pass it along to other like-minded liberal and conservative patriots and if you do not agree, just hit delete. In the spirit of friendly parting, I’ll bet you answer which one of us will need whose help in 15 years.
Sincerely,
John J. Wall
Law Student and an American
P.S. Also, please take Ted Turner, Sean Penn, Martin Sheen, Barbara Streisand, Jane Fonda, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid with you.
P.S.S. And you won’t have to press 1 for English when you call our country
Obama Administration Reveals Global Government Plan If Given Second Term
Make no mistake – when the Director of the White House National Economic Council reveals a desire to implement a global tax on all nations, he is also revealing the Obama administration’s strong desire to govern well beyond the confines of America’s borders if re-elected in 2012.
The Obama adminstration’s Gene Sperling and his globalization hopes were put on display in a public forum this past week where the NEC director gave a strong push for what he deems a much needed “global minimum tax.” This tax would, according to Sperling, help ensure everyone is “paying their fair share.” (A prominent Barack Obama re-election theme)
As to who would oversee the implementation of such a new world order measure, Sperling said little – brushing past the implications by simply stating more information of the plan would be forthcoming at a later date. This admission though suggests the Obama administration already has the plan far beyond the speculative stage – it is likely ready to be implemented during a second Obama term. A global minimum tax would certainly fit snugly within Barack Obama’s already quite cozy relationship with global unions such as Leo Gerard’s USW – President Obama has already acted in conjunction with Gerard’s own union expansion into such areas as Brazil and Central Africa.
Will a vote for Barack Obama in 2012 be a vote against America’s own sovereignty where the interests of the nation take a backseat to the interests of Big Labor and entities such as the IMF and the United Nations?

‘Progressive’ government mouthpiece routinely attacks Alex Jones, Ron Paul

An investigation by the Daily Caller has confirmed that the leftist organization Media Matters, which routinely attacks Alex Jones and Infowars, is an Obama administration front that strategizes with the White House on a weekly basis on how to influence and direct the media.

Media Matters has habitually attempted to denigrate and smear Alex Jones and his message of liberty, by dismissing Jones as a crazed “conspiracy theorist” and then connecting him to other targets of their attacks, people like Ron Paul, Glenn Beck, Judge Andrew Napolitano, Lou Dobbs and the Fox News network.
Media Matters also recently defended Janet Napolitano’s Department of Homeland Security by impugning an Infowars storyabout the DHS targeting white middle class Americans as terrorists, and then deriding other media networks for also covering the issue.
The organization has also routinely carried smear attacks implying that questioning the official story behind 9/11 is some kind of thought crime, despite the fact that six of the ten 9/11 commissioners have disputed the government’s account.
A new investigation into Media Matters by the Daily Caller has revealed that the organization conducts “a weekly strategy call with the White House” and that an Obama administration representative meets with Media Matters reps at the Common Purpose Project meeting at the Capitol Hilton on 16th Street in Washington every Tuesday evening.
“Media Matters has been in regular contact with political operatives in the Obama administration,” states the report. “According to visitor logs, on June 16, 2010, (David) Brock and then-Media Matters president Eric Burns traveled to the White House for a meeting with Valerie Jarrett, arguably the president’s closest adviser. Recently departed Obama communications director Anita Dunn returned to the White House for the meeting as well.”
Media Matters brags about how it works with the White House to control big media networks. “We were pretty much writing their prime time,” a former Media Matters employee said of the cable channel MSNBC. “But then virtually all the mainstream media was using our stuff.”
The group also targets journalists who refuse to be water carriers for Media Matters’ propaganda. “If you hit a reporter, say a beat reporter at a regional newspaper,” a Media Matters source said, “all of a sudden they’d get a thousand hostile emails. Sometimes they’d melt down. It had a real effect on reporters who weren’t used to that kind of scrutiny.”
The investigation also reveals that current Media Matters head David Brock lives in paranoia that “right-wing assassins” want to kill him and is regularly surrounded by bodyguards. Brock also carries a gun despite Media Matters’ vehement support for gun control po
-
As we have previously reported, Media Matters barely even attempts to hide the fact that it is a mouthpiece for the Obama administration and the political elite.
Media Matters is tied at the hip with Think Progress as part of John D. Podesta’s Progressive Media propaganda campaign, described as a “war room for promoting the foreign and domestic policies of Barack Obama.” Podesta, Bill Clinton’s former chief of staff, also helped found Media Matters. The organization also received a $1 million contribution from billionaire globalist George Soros back in 2010.
Podesta, who headed up Barack Obama’s presidential transition team, founded The Center for American Progress, which is tasked with “driving the White House’s message and agenda”.
According to SourceWatch, “CAP’s Progressive Media project emerged as a major communications war room on behalf of Obama’s domestic and foreign policy agenda and CAP became a strong advocate for escalation in Afghanistan. Progressive Media is run through the Center for American Project Action Fund, the more political 501(c)4 arm of CAP. It coordindates closely with the Common Purpose Project, an effort to create message discipline among the pro-Obama organizations, with a direct tie to the White House.”
Media Matters’ sister organization Think Progress, also founded under the umbrella of Podesta’s Center for American Progress, has aggressively attacked Alex Jones, even blaming him for influencing Richard Poplawski in the 2009 murder of three Pittsburgh police officers, despite the fact that numerous other leftist media organizations were forced to retract the baseless claim.
Media Matters has now been completely exposed as little more than an attack dog for the Obama administration. The fact that Alex Jones is regularly smeared by this organization proves that Infowars is hitting the establishment where it hurts and taking flak from the very top of the power structure.

Unions Plan Siege On Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC)
Published by the Labor Union reportPosted by LaborUnionReport (Diary)
Saturday, February 4th at 9:00AM EST
Next weekend, political conservatives from all over the nation will be descending on Washington, DC to attend the annual Conservative Political Action Conference—better known as CPAC. Across town, however, union bosses and their adopted #OccupyDC progeny are planning to disrupt and lay siege to the conservative conference.
According to the AFL-CIO’s Washington DC Metro Council website, “Actions are currently being planned for noontime and after work on Friday, February 10.”
Apparently, the unions plans to attempt to disrupt the conference with rats, puppets, and more:
WE’VE HEARD ENOUGH FROM THE 1%! Join the rally featuring tents, an inflatable fat cat, puppets, “candidate Walmart,” and more to LET THE VOICES OF THE 99% BE HEARD!
There is also a Facebook page for Occupy CPAC, posted by Change to Win staffer, Trina Tocco. It is important to note that Change to Win is the SEIU-led federation that broke away from the AFL-CIO in 2005—which means both union federations are involved in planning the attacks on CPAC.
Unlike the Americans for Prosperity event, where #OccupyDC violently protested outside Washington Convention Center, as well as tried to lock attendees into the building, CPAC’s event is at the Marriott Wardman Park, which is on private property and is set back from the street.
Therefore, if the AFL-CIO, Change to Win and their #Occupy goon squads do attempt to storm the hotel, while it may not immediately address any of those union occupiers who are inside the event, DC police should be able to keep them from gaining access from the street.
Stay tuned…

George Soros Warns of Riots, Brutal Clampdowns and Possible Total Economic Collapse
by Becket Adams
George Soros is no stranger to Blaze readers. The billionaire currency speculator and philanthropist has long been in the news, especially since the fateful day in 1992 when he helped crash England’s economy. In fact, since that day, he has been commonly referred to as “the man who broke the bank of England.”
Soros is shrewd, he has a keen eye for investments, and he knows how to read the marketplace. Therefore, when he makes a prediction, it might be safe to say that it’s worth a listen. After all, his predictions (among other things) helped make him the multi-billionaire that he is today.
So you might want to pay attention to a recent story from The Daily Beast claiming that George Soros is nervous about the future of the global economy and that he warns of dark things to come.
“At times like these, survival is the most important thing,” Soros said.
As he sees it, the world faces one of the most dangerous periods of modern history—a period of “evil,” writes John Arlidge. “Europe is confronting a descent into chaos and conflict. In America [Soros] predicts riots in the streets that will lead to a brutal clampdown that will dramatically curtail civil liberties [emphases added]. The global economic system could even collapse altogether.”
And to add a little color, Aldridge notes Soros says it all while “peering through his owlish glasses and brushing wisps of gray hair off his forehead.”
“I am not here to cheer you up. The situation is about as serious and difficult as I’ve experienced in my career,” Soros told Newsweek. “We are facing an extremely difficult time, comparable in many ways to the 1930s, the Great Depression. We are facing now a general retrenchment in the developed world, which threatens to put us in a decade of more stagnation, or worse. The best-case scenario is a deflationary environment. The worst-case scenario is a collapse of the financial system.”As mentioned in the above, and as The Daily Beast points out, Soros’ warning is probably based on his natural market instincts as well as personal experience.
“I did survive a personally much more threatening situation, so it is emotional, as well as rational,” Soros said in reference to his personal experiences with both Nazi and Communist occupations.
“The collapse of the Soviet system was a pretty extraordinary event, and we are currently experiencing something similar in the developed world, without fully realizing what’s happening,” Soros said.
“Unrestrained competition can drive people into actions that they would otherwise regret,” Soros said. “The tragedy of our current situation is the unintended consequence of imperfect understanding. A lot of the evil in the world is actually not intentional. A lot of people in the financial system did a lot of damage without intending to.”
Wait a minute. Soros believes that the economic meltdown was the result of not just poor investment but honest-to-God “evil”?
“That’s correct,” Soros affirmed.
Soros continued in this vein, each prediction getting darker and grimmer than the last.
He believes that the EU must be held together because “if you have a disorderly collapse of the euro, you have the danger of a revival of the political conflicts that have torn Europe apart over the centuries—an extreme form of nationalism, which manifests itself in xenophobia, the exclusion of foreigners and ethnic groups.”
“In Hitler’s time, that was focused on the Jews,” Soros said. “Today, you have that with the Gypsies, the Roma, which is a small minority, and also, of course, Muslim immigrants.”
It is “now more likely than not” that Greece will formally default in 2012, Soros said. For this, he blames the EUs’ leadership and believes that eurozone leaders only know how to “do enough to calm the situation, not to solve the problem.”
Soros then went on to talk about how the Occupy Wall Street movement has added to the ever-changing dynamics in the world economy. Debt, Wall Street and capitalism have been put under intense scrutiny and people are becoming increasingly angry.
As this anger intensifies, will the inevitable result be a spontaneous eruption of violence and riots?
“Yes, yes, yes,” Soros says, almost “gleefully.”
However, according to Soros, worse than the riots and violence will be the government reaction.
“It will be an excuse for cracking down and using strong-arm tactics to maintain law and order, which, carried to an extreme, could bring about a repressive political system, a society where individual liberty is much more constrained, which would be a break with the tradition of the United States,” Soros said.
Perhaps because he sees such a dark future for the West, Soros has staked his “hopes” for the global economy in Middle East and the “democracies” that are springing up over there.
“While the developed world is in a deep crisis, the future for the developing world is very positive,” Soros said. “The aspiration of people for an open society is very inspiring. You have people in Africa lining up for many hours when they are given an opportunity to vote. Dictators have been overthrown. It is very encouraging for freedom and growth.”
Soros insists the key to avoiding cataclysm in 2012 is not to let the crises of 2011 go to waste, writes John Arlidge.
“In the crisis period, the impossible becomes possible,” Soros said. “The European Union could regain its luster. I’m hopeful that the United States, as a political entity, will pass a very severe test and actually strengthen the institution.”
The Extraordinary Stupidity Of Nancy Pelosi As Quoted: “Mitt Romney Is The Choice Of The Far Right
Posted by Barry Secrist Published on January 18th, 2012 @ 10:59:07 pm ,
Pelosi proves the poignant point which states that “Ambition and cerebral Wit do not always bunk together”
Now many might state, to Pelosi’s vacuous ruminations, that she was baiting the Republicans to go with a worse choice, that choice not being Romney. But, trust me, if that were the case, she would have never called a man who has called himself a Progressive and held many identical positions to Obama in the past, as the far-Right choice.
Sorry, but Nancy is far more ideological than she is politically saavy, at least as it regards Conservative politics, otherwise, she would have found a way to hold her position in the House, and she would have never bought the Obama-Marxist agenda, lock, stock and barrel.Politico
By SEUNG MIN KIM
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi on Tuesday launched political grenades at Mitt Romney, arguing that Republicans haven’t coalesced behind the GOP frontrunner because they don’t believe he can beat President Barack Obama in November.
The House’s top Democrat repeatedly jabbed at the former Massachusetts governor during an hour-long interview hosted by POLITICO and taunted the GOP for a slate of presidential contenders that she said was “not exactly what you would call the first string of the Republican Party.”
“If the far right thought that Romney could win, they might be more enthusiastic about him,” Pelosi told POLITICO’s Mike Allen during Tuesday’s Playbook Breakfast. “But they question what he stands for and they don’t think he’s going to win. So what’s the sell? I’m not sure he knows what he stands for, and that makes it harder too.”
“I don’t know who knows him,” she added of Romney. “Does he know him?”
When asked about Romney’s vow to veto the DREAM Act if he were president, Pelosi said that showed he lacked an “understanding” of policies that would not only help young illegal immigrants but bolster the United States’s competitiveness in a global economy.
“He’s not going to be president,” Pelosi said. “But I think it’s indicative of a hard line that doesn’t seem consistent with who he was as governor.”
And though she remains one of the most prominent congressional figures, Pelosi said she has no problem with Obama running against a so-called “do-nothing” Congress as he campaigns to keep the White House in 2012.
“This is a Congress that has done such a disservice to our country,” Pelosi said. “Bless their hearts. They do what they believe, these Republicans. They do what they believe. And they do not believe in a government that has any role in clean air, clean water, food safety, public safety, public health, public education, Medicare, Medicaid.”
Pelosi, the first female House speaker in history, struck an optimistic tone as she outlined her strategy this year for Democrats to win in November and for her to take back the speaker’s gavel. She mapped out six states that she said would be critical to win the 25 districts needed for Democrats to regain control of the House – Illinois, New York, California, Texas, Florida and Arizona – and set an even higher bar of 35 seats.
She said Democrats have targeted about 75 districts so far and would have to play in at least 50 of them to have a shot at winning back 25 seats. Pelosi also touted female congressional candidates such as Tammy Duckworth, a former assistant secretary of the Department of Veterans Affairs who is running for Congress in Illinois, and former Orlando police chief Val Demings, who is trying to unseat Rep. Daniel Webster (R-Fla.).
Ultimately, it didn’t matter which Republican was at the top of the ticket for House Democrats, according to Pelosi.
“For us, this cast of characters, it’s not about them,” Pelosi said “It’s about President Obama, how well he will do and our candidates — how they compare and contrast to the candidates that they’re running against.”
Valerie Jarrett’s Pulpit Speech Violated IRS Church- State Rule
by Neil Munro
Valerie Jarrett’s partisan speech at Atlanta’s Ebenezer Baptist Church may have violated the IRS tax rules for churches’ political activities, said a prominent free speech attorney.
“It is problematic under current regulations,” said Erik Stanley, a senior legal counsel with the Alliance Defense Fund, which is campaigning to roll back IRS curbs on believers’ speech.
But if the IRS concludes that the church violated the IRS code, the ADF “will represent the church, just as it would represent any church for what is said from the pulpit,” he said.
“We believe in pulpit freedom,” he said.
On Sunday President Barack Obama’s controversial aide, Valerie Jarrett, used the Ebenezer pulpit to tell the congregation that the jobs of teachers, police and firefighters “are now in jeopardy because Congress — well, let me be specific — because [of] the Republicans in Congress.”
Jarrett is a longtime aide to Obama, and worked with him in Chicago. She’s deeply unpopular among White House staff, but remains influential with the president.
Shortly after the religious service, the church hosted a voter registration drive for its mostly African-American congregation. In 2008, more than 95 percent of African-Americans voted for Obama. His 2012 campaign managers are now funding registration drives and other efforts to repeat that level of support this November. This church’s hosting of partisan statements and technically non-partisan activities threatens its tax-exempt status, according to rules posted on the IRS’ website.
“Voter education or registration activities with evidence of bias that (a) would favor one candidate over another; (b) oppose a candidate in some manner; or (c) have the effect of favoring a candidate or group of candidates, will constitute prohibited participation or intervention,” according to the IRS website.
The IRS has suspended the tax-exempt status of 501(c)3 churches and religious organizations following verified episodes where their officials have violated the IRS’ rules. On each occasion, the organization had to pay expensive legal fees and annual taxes to the IRS for the period when their tax-free status was suspended.
The church’s pastor, Rev. Raphael Warnock, also used the same service to criticize former House Speaker Next Gingrich, whose own criticism of federal welfare policies has recently sparked angry complaints by Democrats. “Mr. Gingrich, let there be welfare reform, and let it begin with you,” said Warnock, who donated $250 to Obama’s 2012 campaign in May 2011.
After the service, Warnock told a CBS News reporter that Gingrich “is counting on the old logic of scapegoating and race-baiting” to help him win the GOP primary race in southern states.
The full video or text of Jarrett’s and Warnock’s sermons are not available.
The tone at the church event was political, according to Will Frampton, the CBS TV reporter who attended the event. “There were times during the service when it really felt like a political rally, perhaps even an early campaign stop, as much as it was a church service,” he hold his viewers Sunday night.
However, the IRS’ enforcement of its rules are skewed, said Stanley.
‘The IRS’ record of enforcement against churches has been atrocious, uneven, discriminatory and arbitrary,” he said. “Usually more liberal churches and more African-American churches have been [engaged in political activities] for years… whether it is legal or not,” said Stanley, who wants to persuade the Supreme Court to invalidate IRS curbs on clerics’ speech.
In 2010 the IRS halted investigations of churches’ suspect activities following a court’s declaration that IRS investigation procedures violated a 1984 religious freedom law.
The IRS is drafting new procedures, but likely won’t implement them until after the 2012 election, Stanley said.
The ADF is trying to defend free speech by religious figures, whether liberal or conservative, pro-Republicans or pro-Democratic, he said.
“The IRS has no business sticking its nose into any church… What we’re talking about here is the freedom of the church to be engaged in the cultural and social processes, like elections,” Stanley said.

Wisconsin governor recall petitions to be filed
Organizers of a drive to recall Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker said they have far more signatures than they need to file on Tuesday to force the controversial Republican to defend his seat in a special election barely a year into his first term.
Recall officials expect to turn in far more than the 540,208 signatures required on Tuesday to force a special election, a milestone in their effort to recall Walker and slow an agenda that has diminished the power of public unions.
If the state Government Accountability Board, the agency charged with validating the petitions, determines enough valid signatures have been gathered, it will set a recall election for Walker and Lieutenant Governor Rebecca Kleefisch.
Only two governors in U.S. history have been successfully recalled — California’s Gray Davis in 2003 and Lynn Frazier of North Dakota in 1921.
No Democrat has emerged to run against Walker, although Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett, who ran for governor against Walker in 2010, and Secretary of State Doug La Follette have been mentioned as possible candidates.
Others include former congressman Dave Obey, state Senator Jon Erpenbach and former Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk.By law, organizers had only 60 days to conduct the formal petition drive, which they launched in November with thousands of volunteers fanning out across Wisconsin.
The roots of the drive stretch back nearly a year to efforts by Walker and the Republican-controlled state legislature to pass a raft of controversial measures that included strict limits on the union rights of public employees.
The anti-union measures triggered weeks of mass protests in Madison and a fierce political backlash from Democrats and union supporters.
Walker defended the measures as necessary to address a budget gap and to make Wisconsin attractive to employers.
Backing his agenda, which also included passage of voter identification and looser gun laws, six Republican senators and Walker allies faced recall last summer. Three Democratic senators who opposed the measures also faced recall.
Of those, two lost their seats to Republican challengers.
Along with the governor and lieutenant governor, as many as 17 state senators — 11 Republicans and six Democrats — could face recall elections this year in Wisconsin.
The contests could tip the balance of power in the state senate, where Republicans hold a slim 17-16 majority.
On Friday, organizers of a separate effort to recall Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald said they had enough signatures to force the Republican to defend his seat in a special election.
Fitzgerald has filed a complaint with the GAB, claiming recall organizers took too long to collect signatures.
According to a GAB report, processing the Walker recall petitions will cost the state more than $650,000, including the purchase of software and staff time. The total cost of recall elections for the state and municipalities may be more than $9 million, according to estimates from GAB officials.
Comment by Corkie Taylor-WashingtonWe already know that Obama is behind this. We know that AFL-CIO Union thug Richard Trumka is behind this and we know that state “outsiders” are behind this.
Governor Scott Walker NEEDS our help! Without our help he will lose his elected position from the onslaught of left wing lunacy that want to unseat him because of his conservative values and love for his state to bring it out of Obama debt! Don’t forget the Democrat elected officials who ran and hid in order to shirk their civil duties to create a budget that would bring Wisconsin out of debt. They along with their cheat and liar in Chief of the United States, Barack Obama are out for his head.
Please, do what you can do to help him even if it’s a word of encouragement. He has only been able to raise aprox. 5 million for his defence. Much of that from outside sources.
America NEEDS Scott Walker!
