The Back Alley Becomes Main Street

Abortion mills are not required to meet health standards as high as veterinary clinics yet when Texas passes a law requiring them to meet minimum standards for any health establishment the Supreme Corruption rules this is too much.

It is the opinion of the Legalist Illuminati that we have progressed past anything as quaint as constitutional rights, such as the right to life without which the right to liberty and the pursuit of happiness doesn’t have any meaning.  Then again according to the Apex of the Esquire Class the Constitution always and only means what the Supremes say it means.

According to Richard A. Posner who is a judge, U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit, and a senior lecturer at the University of Chicago Law School “I see absolutely no value to a judge of spending decades, years, months, weeks, day, hours, minutes, or seconds studying the Constitution, the history of its enactment, its amendments, and its implementation (across the centuries—well, just a little more than two centuries, and of course less for many of the amendments). Eighteenth-century guys, however smart, could not foresee the culture, technology, etc., of the 21st century. Which means that the original Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the post–Civil War amendments (including the 14th), do not speak to today. David Strauss is right: The Supreme Court treats the Constitution like it is authorizing the court to create a common law of constitutional law, based on current concerns, not what those 18th-century guys were worrying about.  In short, let’s not let the dead bury the living.”

The Legion of Doom that makes up the modern woman’s movement has put all its eggs in the abortion basket.  This is their litmus test.  This is their un-holy grail filled with the blood of the martyrs.  Refuse to drink and you shall be cast outside the pail of the liberal establishment, its media propaganda machine, and its crony capitalist K-Street funding cabal.  All Progressive politicos are required to kiss the ring and bow before the Rider of the Pale Horse.

What was so onerous about the Texas law?  What undue burden did it use to oppress women and deny them of their rights? The rules required doctors who perform abortions to have admitting privileges at nearby hospitals and forced clinics to meet hospital-like standards for outpatient surgery.  All this disguised as concern for women’s health.  Why anyone can see that requiring more of abortionists than was once required of their back alley ancestors was obviously a stratagem designed to subjugate women and deprive them of their constitutionally protected right to undergo a serious medical procedure with no clinical or sanitary requirements whatsoever.

Other blatant violations of women’s rights imposed by the right wing hate mongers include limits on when in a pregnancy abortions may be performed and the use of drugs that induce abortions without surgical intervention.  After our Supreme Court of Last Resort invoked their arbitrary power to void the laws of Texas and numerous other states Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton said the law “was an effort to improve minimum safety standards and ensure capable care for Texas women. It’s exceedingly unfortunate that the court has taken the ability to protect women’s health out of the hands of Texas citizens and their duly elected representatives.”

Some of the Black Robed Rulers of our land made statements concerning this case.

Justice Ginsburg, the former lead attorney for Planned Parenthood the nation’s largest chain of abortion mills, wrote a short opinion noting that laws like Texas’ “that do little or nothing for health, but rather strew impediments to abortion, cannot survive judicial inspection” under the court’s earlier abortion-rights decisions. She pointed specifically to Roe v. Wade in 1973 and Planned Parenthood v. Casey in 1992.

Justice Thomas wrote that the decision “Exemplifies the court’s troubling tendency to bend the rules when any effort to limit abortion, or even to speak in opposition to abortion, is at issue.”

Justice Alito, reading a summary of his dissent in court, said “The clinics should have lost on technical, procedural grounds.” Alito also said “The court was adopting a rule of, if at first you don’t succeed, sue, sue and sue again.”

Abortion providers said the rules would have cut the number of abortion clinics in Texas to fewer than 10 if they had been allowed to take full effect.  In other words less than 10 were willing to have doctors who met the standards for having admitting privileges at local hospitals or to meet hospital-like standards for outpatient surgery.

Nancy Northup, president of the Center for Reproductive Rights, which represented the clinics, said, “The Supreme Court sent a loud and clear message that politicians cannot use deceptive means to shut down abortion clinics.”

President Barack Obama praised the decision, saying, “We remain strongly committed to the protection of women’s health, including protecting a woman’s access to safe, affordable health care and her right to determine her own future.”

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton called the outcome “A victory for women in Texas and across America.”

The only losers anyone can see are the women who are lulled into thinking they are undergoing a safe procedure in a sanitary medical environment. When in fact they are the subjects of unregulated abortionists in uninspected and often unsanitary abortion mills where millions of children die and millions of dollars are made for the industry of death that has decimated entire generations of Americans.  Not only do all the babies die but so do some of the women.  Of course you will never hear that from the Corporations Once Known as the Mainstream Media because today the back alley has become Main Street, and we can’t allow these right wing conspiracy nuts to interfere with the right to kill babies.  That would violate the Constitution. Maybe it is a suicide pact after all.

Why Should God Save America

The Abomination of Obamanation

I have often said in the pages of these Dispatches from the past to the future that nations are not judged by the sin that is in them for the same sin is within all of us.  Neither are societies judged by the sins that are committed by those who form their population for all people in all civilizations have sinned and this will continue until the end of time.

Societies are judged by the sins they condone.

The northern kingdom of Israel was judged because they rejected God and turned to the worship of the golden calf.  God gave them up to the Assyrians.  Judah was judged because they sacrificed their children to Baal, and God could not ignore the cry of the blood of these innocents.  God gave them up to the Babylonians.

Many believe that the Nazis were judged because of the holocaust: the planned and systematic murder of 6 million Jews and many millions of Russians, Poles, homosexuals, Jews and anyone else who did not fit their vision of a perfect man.

The Soviets may have met judgement for their gulag archipelago that enslaved and killed tens of millions because they did not fit into their vision of a classless society.

Will America be judged? Is America being judged? If so what would that judgment look like?

In America today the headlines read like chapter titles in a dystopian novel.

In reaction to the horror revealed by these videos, the abomination of Obamanation, what do our rulers from the forbidden city, “Chicago on the Potomac” have to say:

Obama Spokesman on Planned Parenthood Selling Aborted Baby Parts: They Say They’re “Ethical”

White House calls Planned Parenthood videos ‘fraudulent,’ rejects calls to strip funding

And what does our paramount leader by decree have to say:

While officially ignoring the revelation of the abomination President Obama in Africa speaking of the African custom of killing albinos to harvest their organs for magic potions says, “Killing humans and harvesting their organs is an atrocity that must end.”  Furthermore according to the President, “harvesting organs from humans that are killed as part of an African ritual was “craziness” and a “cruel tradition that needed to stop.” He warned of dehumanizing marginal groups of humans and of the problems that arise when “you are not able to see someone else as a human being.”  Can’t he hear what he is saying?  Doesn’t he realize that he has made the perfect argument for defunding Planned Parenthood?

What is the answer of the Progressive political machine to all these shocking revelations?  An Obama Appointee and Bundler Blocks More Video Releases By the Group Behind Planned Parenthood Sting.

It is easy to believe that it is the supporters and proponents of abortion alone who are condoning and perpetrating this abomination. It is in reality everyone who knows and yet stands silent.  Does anyone really believe that the German people did not know what was going on?

Did you know that Planned Parenthood gets more than half a billion dollars from the federal government every single year?  That is tax money.  That is your money and my money that is given to these Mengele clones.  They say the money is not used to pay for abortions.  However all money is fungible: it can be used either here or there.  This money may not pay for abortions, but it is used to make election contributions to the very political prostitutes that defend their death factories and promote their agenda by asserting that they are the bastions of women’s rights and the guardians of woman’s bodies.

And the beat goes on: Obama spreads myth that Planned Parenthood is champion of women’s health.

We are a conquered nation.  Our Constitution has been willfully subverted by a Progressive clique of socialist utopians.  They have used the cover of a living document philosophy to turn our Constitution into a dead letter.  We are ruled by the decrees of an imperial president while our elected officials at best sit on their hands and at worst collude in the occupation.

The abomination outlined above is the rider of a pale horse, the chronicle of a society condoning the slaughter of innocents, and a humanistic empire staggering towards the abyss while worshipping a cult of death.

The blood of more than 55 million innocents cries out from our land.  If we do not turn and humble ourselves before God, if He does not judge us, Sodom and Gomorrah deserve an apology.  It is enough to make one wonder into whose hand God will give us up.

We who do not wish to go over the cliff into perdition with these social sadists must separate ourselves from the stench of their sin.  We must stand up, speak up, rise up, and move positively to proclaim the sanctity of life and the primacy of God not man.  To love the sinner and hate the sin does not mean to stay silent in the face of this abomination of Obamanation.

Will America be judged? Is America being judged? If so what would that judgment look like?

God did not shrink from judging his chosen people when they transgressed His covenant and became evil in his sight. He does not shrink from judging nations that do evil. Is it not the pinnacle of pride to believe that God will turn a blind eye to the slaughter of tens of millions of unborn babies, to the desecration of their remains and the wholesale rejection of His laws, His ways and His Son?

When God sent the prophet Zechariah to the people of Judah to warn them of the coming consequences of their sin He told him to “Dress up like a stupid shepherd. I’m going to install just such a shepherd in this land—a shepherd indifferent to victims, who ignores the lost, abandons the injured, and disdains decent citizens. He’ll only be in it for what he can get out of it, using and abusing any and all.”

As a punishment to the people for turning away from Him God allowed foolish and evil leaders to gain power.   What does judgment look like? Look around you.

To know the will of God is the greatest knowledge.  To find the will of God is the greatest discovery.  To do the will of God is the greatest achievement.

Alabama Supreme Court Ruling Could End Legal Abortion in America

OBAMA'S CRINGE-WORTHY REMARKS ABOUT SLAYING BABIES

While abortion foes defend ‘inalienable right to life’ at D.C. rally

House Majority Leader Rep. Eric Cantor, R-Va., on Wednesday assured people assembled for the 2014 March for Life that, “We will prevail in securing a culture of life in America.

“The truth is there is an inalienable right to life. This is not just a political truth subject to the whims of men,” he said.

He was among the speakers at a rally that preceded Wednesday’s march to the U.S. Supreme Court, which 41 years ago decided the Constitution contained the right to abort an unborn child at any point in a pregnancy.

Earlier in the morning, tens of thousands of young pro-lifers gathered in Washington’s Armory for a Mass for Life 2014 by the Washington archdiocese. Thousands more gathered at the Verizon Center, packing two of the city’s biggest venues with those who traveled to the snow-covered city for this year’s march.

It is the 41st anniversary of the Supreme Court’s ruling that is estimated already to have cost 55 million lives.

Coinciding with the March for Life, a Knights of Columbus/Marist Poll found 62 percent of Americans believe that abortion is morally wrong.

Before the March began, rally speakers featured Cantor, Sen. Rick Santorum, blogger Jill Stanek, Rep. Chris Smith, R-N.J., FamilyTalk founder James Dobson and more.

Some groups traveling to D.C. for the march faced inclement weather that made their journey difficult. One group, Cape Cod Bus for Life, was stopped in Connecticut and the travelers were told they wouldn’t be able to travel further.

“We were in the middle of Connecticut when our bus driver pulled over to a rest stop and told [us] that we couldn’t drive any further because of the storm,” Molly Burgess, a student traveling with the group said.

“I believe it was the bus company that told us we couldn’t continue … but the man who was running our group wasn’t going to give up without a fight and neither were the teenagers on the bus,” Burgess said. “All of us teenagers were praying the rosary in the back of the bus in hope of continuing our journey. And Our Lady answered our prayers and now here we are!”

Pope Francis tweeted his support, writing, “I join the March for Life in Washington with my prayers. May God help us respect all life, especially the most vulnerable.”

Police in Washington gave widely varying estimates for the size of the crowd on the intensely cold day, ranging from tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands.

But significantly, a key organizer with March for Life estimated more than half of those attending are under age 18. Universities also had a large presence.

NBC did have cameras outside the Capitol across from the Supreme Court where the march ended, but an NBC staff member said the crew was reporting on the weather, not the march.

“Marchers used the hashtags #WhyWeMarch and #MarchForLife on social media throughout the day. By mid afternoon tens of thousands of tweets had been posted to Twitter of the march.

President Obama, in a statement from the White House, used the anniversary of Roe v. Wade to promise that America “is a country where everyone deserves the same freedom and opportunities to fulfill their dreams.”

Except that “everyone” for Obama, described as the most pro-abortion president in history, apparently does not include the unborn.

His statement talked about a woman’s choices about her body and her health and renewed his dedication “to protecting a woman’s access to safe, affordable health care and her constitutional right to privacy, including the right to reproductive freedom.”

But his only reference to the unborn called them “unintended pregnancies.”

His statement talked about a woman’s choices about her body and her health and renewed his dedication “to protecting a woman’s access to safe, affordable health care and her constitutional right to privacy, including the right to reproductive freedom.”

But his only reference to the unborn called them “unintended pregnancies.”

Dr. Ben. S Carson, world-renowned professor emeritus of neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins, wrote in a commentary that his professional career has been devoted to saving and enhancing lives, and he’s sometimes seen what many consider miraculous events.

“Most of us instinctively want to protect helpless creatures and sometimes go to great lengths to do so. The television commercials about abused animals are poignant, and as a society, we sometimes delay or cancel large construction projects to protect an ‘endangered’ insect, amphibian or fish. Yet many of us turn a blind eye to the wanton slaughter of millions of helpless human babies, who are much more sophisticated than some of the other creatures, when nothing is at stake other than the convenience of one or both parents.

“I am not saying we should abandon our efforts to save baby seals and a host of other animals. I am saying: Shouldn’t we consider adding human fetuses and babies to the list?” he wrote.

“Watching the human fetus develop is awe-inspiring. In less than three months from conception, the little hands and feet are quite recognizable, and distinct facial features characterize cute but very tiny human beings. From Day One, neurons of the brain are proliferating at a rate that will yield a staggering 100 billion neurons by birth. In a matter of nine months from conception, we have a living, breathing, eating, vocal human being who just two months later is socially interactive.”

Obama on Wednesday, in fact, held a White House event on protecting women and girls from sexual assault. He has announced an executive order setting up the White House Task Force on Protecting Students from Sexual Assault.

The Knights of Columbus poll also found 74 percent of Americans favor a ban on abortions after 20 weeks except to save the life of the mother, and 53 percent believe life begins at conception.

Common-sense limits on abortion, such as parental notification, drew 80 percent support, a 24-hour waiting period 79 percent, and showing a woman an ultrasound image, 58 percent.

In a commentary in the Chicago Tribune, Chapman University professor Ronald Rotunda wrote about his interview with Supreme Court Justice Harry Blackmun, who wrote that fateful decision.

Blackmun, in the interview years ago, said, “We tried to decide the case on a constitutional basis, not a moral basis,” even though the authors of the Constitution, according to history, acknowledged a sovereign power in the founding of the nation.

According to the commentary, Blackmun explained the ruling, “protected the woman’s right, with the physician, to get an abortion.”

“He spoke of the case as a doctor’s rights case, not a woman’s right case. In Roe, Blackmun said, for the first trimester, ‘the attending physician, in consultation with his patient, is free to determine, without regulation by the state, that, in his medical judgment, the patient’s pregnancy should be terminated.’ Note that the right was the right of the physician, whom Blackmun assumed was male,” Rotunda wrote.

“Blackmun explicitly rejected the argument that ‘one has an unlimited right to do with one’s body as one pleases,’” he wrote.

Judie Brown of the American Life League said, “Over the years, polarization within society has made it nearly impossible to bring the reality of who dies in abortion back front and center to the struggle. This is exactly where we are today, on the eve of the 41st tragic remembrance of those deadly Supreme Court decisions. But it does not have to continue. We need not continue to repeat our mistakes or exacerbate the situation by pushing for politics as usual.

“Rather, we can and must reacquaint ourselves with the facts and correct the movement’s modus operandi moving forward,” she said.

Liberty Counsel’s Mat Staver said too few resources are dedicated to adoption.

“Unplanned does not mean unlovable. No story is dearer than an adoption story where a heroic mother gives the ultimate gift and a loving family emerges.”

Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of the Susan B. Anthony List, said too many times, “unscrupulous abortionists” still reign.

“Children, some old enough to feel excruciating pain, are being killed daily by the thousands. Americans are waking up to this brutality and want better for these babies and their mothers. Fortunately, the tide is turning with numerous state legislatures and the U.S. House voting in favor of historic legislation to protect babies after 20 weeks, more than halfway through pregnancy and when science shows babies feel pain.”

Lila Rose, of Live Action, said, “Until the day abortion is nothing more than a bad memory in our nation, we at Live Action will not give up speaking for those who have no voice. We will stand up for them today at the March for Life, and we will support and defend them unto our dying breaths.”

It was Dennis Byrne, who blogs at Chicago Now and wrote recently about the state March for Life event in Chicago, who cited the costs.

“America is missing at least 55 million people – that’s the estimated number of abortions performed in the United States since the historic Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton decisions were handed down by the Supreme Court in 1973.

“Fifty-five million. That’s almost 20 percent of today’s population. Talk about genocide,” he wrote.

But that apparently doesn’t bother many, explained Byrne, a contributing op-ed columnist for the Chicago Tribune.

“For the extremists in Planned Parenthood, Illinois Personal PAC, ACLU and other absolutist outfits that support the idea that an unborn child can be killed for any reason (an idea made real by the combined Roe and Doe decisions), those 55 million aren’t people. They’re not even mourned for the loss of potential life.”

But he said it does matter: “I’ll be accused – again – of being heartless, of not caring about a woman who is forced to make a difficult choice. I’ll be told that if I don’t want an abortion then I should not get one. As if there is no one else involved in this matter of pure ‘Choice.’ Making the millions and millions of problems (not persons, mind you) disappear, as if they were never people who ever existed?

“Now that’s heartless.”

More Black Babies Aborted Than Born Alive in New York

AbortNew York’s Governor, Andrew Cuomo, just announced that “right-to-life” advocates have “no place in the state of New York.” The Radiance Foundation and its civil rights allies defy Governor Cuomo’s intolerance and have launched the “DREAM IS DEAD” ad campaign (www.toomanyaborted.com/ny) in New York on Martin Luther King Day.
The bold ad campaign declares: “The Dream Is Dead For 56 Million: TooManyAborted.com” reminding the public of Dr. Martin Luther King’s fight to ensure justice for all. Bus transit ads will be seen throughout the state’s capital, Albany, as well as Troy and Schenectady.

In 1963 when Martin Luther King Jr. shared his Dream with the nation, he never envisioned an America where ‘reproductive justice’ would end more than 56 million innocent human lives. His dream never pictured a nation where black boys and black girls would never be able to join hands with white boys and white girls, as sisters and brothers, because ‘freedom of choice’ determined some humans are simply not equal.
New York has the second highest abortion rate in America and the second highest total number of abortions, exceeding 100,000 annually. There is obviously no lack of access. Yet, liberal legislators in the state want to decriminalize all abortions allowing the violent procedure through the entire 9 months of pregnancy.
Planned Parenthood and a coalition of other pro-abortion groups have joined Governor Cuomo’s quest to enact the “Reproductive Health Act”, part of his “Women’s Equality Act”. This dangerous pro-Gosnell bill will only endanger even more women and their unborn children.
Planned Parenthood continually touts that they gave Martin Luther King their first Margaret Sanger Award in 1966. What they fail to tell the public is that abortion wasn’t legal in ’66. Dr. King wrongly believed birth control would reduce poverty. He also wrongly believed Planned Parenthood was interested in elevating poorer blacks. Their abortion numbers tell a completely different story.
According to the NY State Department of Health, for every 1,000 black babies born alive, 1,223 are aborted. No other racial/ethnic demographic aborts more of their children than are born alive. Yet groups like the NAACP have endorsed this radical bill that will clearly disproportionately impact the black community.

The TooManyAborted.com New York campaign will continue to educate the public about this civil rights issue throughout Black History Month.

IT IS REALLY LIKE THIS...................

DEabortionI had only been working for LifeSiteNews for a few weeks when a friend of mine came for a visit. She’s one of my best friends, and she’s an extraordinary person, full of love and compassion. She is also pro-abortion.

As the social media coordinator, I have the responsibility of finding stories on LifeSiteNews.com and posting them to Facebook and Twitter.

I spend a lot of time reading articles. While my friend was visiting, I was reading an article that contained the illustration displayed here, of a D&E abortion of a 23 week old baby.

My friend looked over my shoulder and gasped.

“What are you LOOKING at?” she asked, horrified.

“That’s an abortion,” I answered plainly.

“But, that’s a baby!” she exclaimed. “That doesn’t happen!”

“That’s a 23 week abortion. That happens quite frequently, actually.”

I tried to remain calm.

She’s not stupid. Really, honestly, she isn’t. She’s actually incredibly intelligent, educated. She has a degree.

I truly believe that my friend has been deceived.

How else could an intelligent, loving individual be completely “pro-choice”?

Deception.

People are told what they want to hear, that it’s “just a blob of tissue,” or they’re told, “abortion is OK in certain circumstances,” and most importantly, they’re told “abortion is a woman’s right.” But when they are presented with the reality that what they thought was a blob of tissue was actually a baby, a human being, a lot of them change their minds. Yes, a lot.

She just stared at the illustration with pain in her eyes.

“I don’t know if I’m OK with that.” She said with finality.

The reason I am telling you this story is not simply to share the pro-life message.

I am telling you this to explain to you the importance of supporting pro-life organizations and sharing the truth.

It’s one thing to read a story and have your pro-life beliefs affirmed, but it’s another thing entirely to take that information and spread it as far and wide as you possibly can.

And we have seen time and time again that the truth is what changes hearts and mind. …

Is America Under Judgment?

All that follows I will preface with, “I believe.” I am not attempting to establish theology for anyone or to declare that anyone who does not agree with me is a heretic. I am merely sharing my beliefs, grounded on study and prayer, since my opinion has been solicited on this topic more than once.

Many Christians today bring every conversation back to, “Do you think these are the last days?”

This may be based on a personal reading of the Book of Revelation in the Bible. It could be based on the broadcast sermons and teachings of any number of professional End Times preachers who have built careers on pointing to an apocalypse around the corner.

The signs of the times are always easy to read they just aren’t so easy to interpret. Nero was the Antichrist as was Diocletian, King James II, Napoleon, Hitler, Stalin, and Mao. False Prophets have equally abounded from the Pope to Martin Luther, from Henry VIII to Rasputin to Jim Jones.

Is the End coming? Most certainly. Can we know when it is coming? Most certainly not. Since it is impossible to know when the end is coming I cannot believe that God would want us wasting any of the precious time He gives us speculating as to when it will arrive instead of being His witnesses to the world .

Since it is anti-biblical to believe we can know the date of the End, it is obviously not a Godly use of our time to try and figure it out anyway. What can we know? Just as we can look at the clouds and know when a storm is coming or smell the wind and know when a rain is on the way, so to we can look at the present state of our nation and know the time of the season. If we use the analogy of a year’s cycle it is obviously fall headed for the winter. It has been fall headed for the winter since the crucifixion of Christ: the fulcrum of History.

Some may ask, “Why has fall lasted so long?” The problem is we really don’t know how long the previous winter and spring were. The belief that the Bible tells us that there were approximately X number of thousand years before Christ and there will be X number of years after Christ equaling 7,000 years as a week in God’s time as taught by some popular TV preachers is based on the a tissue of strung together scriptures and cherry-picked verses. Equally, the belief that the time from Adam and Christ is discernible from the Biblical text is based on the erroneous belief that the Bible is presented as a linear historical document.

While I believe that the Bible contains real History and that it is literally true I do not believe that it presents a year for year time-line type of presentation. The Old Testament is above all a spiritual History of how God chose one people and eventually one person to bring forth the Chosen One: Jesus Christ, the Messiah of the Jews and the Savior of man. I do not believe that by counting up the lives of everyone mentioned in Old Testament genealogies it is possible to

know how many years elapsed between “Let there be light” and the birth, death, or resurrection of Christ.

Most of the names mentioned in the many Old Testament genealogies have no age associated with them so the would-be Biblical timeliner has to make a guess. Also when you compare the genealogies there are obvious overlaps, repetitions, and omissions. Compare the New Testament genealogies of Christ found in Luke and in Matthew and you will see the problem with genealogies as linear History. Now multiply that by all the genealogies in the Old Testament and you will begin to see the problem with this method of calculating time.

The people who tell us that the Old Testament gives us an accurate count of the years between the beginning and the beginning of the end are the same ones who tell us that they can figure out from the book of Revelation when the end of time will come. They do this in spite of the fact that Christ Himself tells us in Matthew, “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” Then to make the point again it was one of the last things He told  us before ascending to Heaven in Acts, “It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority.”

Since we cannot know the day or the hour, the times or the seasons how godly can it be to spend so much time trying to figure it out? So much for trying to figure out when THE end is since it can’t be done. However, I felt I had to deal with that before I moved on to the real subject of this column: whether or not America is under judgment.

I believe that is a topic that can be discerned by anyone with eyes to see and ears to hear. I am not talking about the end of the United States. It is and will be called by the same name, waving the same flag. I will let you judge if it is the same country we grew up in.

Looking at the spiritual History of the Old Testament as a guide we see that Judah the southern kingdom of the Jews, the believing remnant that carried on the covenant after the apostatized Kingdom of Israel had been carried off into exile was finally delivered into the hands of its enemies because they had sacrificed their children to pagan gods and walked in the ways of the world. Since 1972 when a case based upon a lie was used by an activist Supreme Court to invent a constitutional right to abort babies over 54 million Americans have been deprived of the most fundamental right of all: Life.

God does not condemn societies because of the sin within them because the same sins are in all peoples at all times. Rather God condemns societies for the sins they condone. Sodom, Gomorrah, and the cities of the plains were not destroyed because they were filled with more evil than the Canaanites that God eventually sent the Israelites to destroy. No, these cities were consumed by fire and brimstone because they gloried in what others did in shame.

Stroll down the streets of San Francisco. Flip the dial from the Modern Family to Two and a Half Men from The Jersey Shore to Glee and it seems Jerry Springer has defined the new America. On cable and satellite hard core porn fills the overnight hours while state after state legalizes pot on their way to legalizing everything. The government has taken over the numbers racket, calling it a lottery as they plunder the poorest amongst us by selling them false hope where winning is as likely as being struck with lightening.

What is the judgment of God on nations that have moved out from under His blessing by rejecting His guidance? He casts them down from the heights their former obedience had achieved. In the near future we may become the tail instead of the head as our leaders continue to wag the dog.

Alexis de Tocqueville one of the most astute observers of America said in the early 1800’s “America is great because she is good, and if America ever ceases to be good, America will cease to be great.” Now survey the current state of America for yourself. Don’t accept the opinion of someone else, but make up your own mind. Is America good? The answer to that will provide the answer to the question posed in the title of this column “Is America under Judgment?” For if we are not good what are we? And what is the result of that? Then remember God has told those who follow Him, “A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you.”

Keep the Faith. Keep the peace. We shall overcome.

If it isn’t Right it’s Wrong

Back in the nineties when Pat Buchanan was wise enough to label the Culture War for what it was some of us asked, “How can a moral wrong be a civil right?”  This was back when those coming out of the closet were asking for freedom, and not trying to deny freedom to others.  Today the radical homosexuals froth at the mouth and impose boycotts against anyone with the impudence to say they support traditional values and with the bad taste to say they are married to their first wife.

The Corporations Once Known as the Mainstream Media joins the radical homosexuals distorting what was initially said and fanning the flames of hate.  Pandering politicians join in the pile-on and use their offices and the power voters entrusted them with to punish a lawful business because their CEO exercised his first amendment rights and stated something that not too long ago was so widely accepted it never would have had to be said.

Culturally the majority of Americans now live in a nation controlled and subjugated by a vocal minority intent on forcing their values on the rest of us.

Back in the nineties after Americahad defeated the Evil Empire we stood unchallenged as the world’s sole superpower.  Our industrial base was an 800 pound gorilla in everybody’s room.  We were the largest creditor nation in the History of the world.  Our science and our technology were the definition of cutting edge.  Today Chinarises like the red dragon in the East.  We are the largest debtor in the History of the world.  The fastest computer, the largest accelerator, and the number one computer and smart phone manufacturers are all inAsia.  Our manned space vehicle program is a memory, our astronauts have to hitchhike to a space station we paid for and built, and the Chinese have just announced they are going to the moon to replace the stars and stripes with communist red.

Technologically we are standing still at best while former third world nations lead the way to a brave new world.

Politically we are watching the Mideastgo south.  We are bogged down in a quagmire in Afghanistanwhere the ultimate winner won’t be the corruption we have installed as government. The Chinese control the Panama Canal and the Port of Los Angeles.  NATO had a hard time defeating the definition of a tin-pot dictator and his band of sub-Saharan mercenaries.

How did all this happen?  How did it happen so fast?  Is there anything we could do to reverse our slide into insignificance?  Is there anything that will be done to lead the way back from the brink?

How did all this happen?  How did it happen so fast?

The Culture War has been waged aggressively by its proponents: those who wanted an end toAmerica’s traditional Judeo-Christian ethics and those who wished to profit politically by the end of theAmericawe had known and loved.  The coalition of social deviants, media boosters, and political panderers rolled over a live-and-let-live public as they achieved their dreams and changed moral wrongs into civil rights.  It is now considered unacceptable to state your personal beliefs if they diverge from the culture of the lowest common denominator. Political correctness strangles freedom from college campuses to board rooms.  The murder of unborn babies has made the womb the most dangerous place for an American child. Television, movies, and music are filled with vile hateful filth.  Triple X superstores and legal gambling are now the trophies for the victors and tombstones for the vanquished in a war Mr. Buchanan was pilloried for having the courage to name.

What about the technology?

In their exuberance and hubris our leaders, Bush the First and Clinton the Last, decided that we could make free trade work for our advantage when it had killed every other empire that ever followed it to cheap consumer goods and industrial destruction.   Ross Perot was ridiculed when he would ask, “Do you hear that giant sucking sound?”  That’s American jobs being sucked out by NAFTA.”  But he was right.  Our balance of trade with Mexico went from more than a billion dollars a year surplus in 1994 to more than a 64 billion deficit in 2011.  This was followed with so-called free trade agreements with country after country systematically turning a positive balance of trade into a negative.

Then when we combined free trade agreements with an American innovation, shipping with containers, we set the stage for our markets to be overwhelmed by Chinese imports.  Today if the balance of trade and the content of that trade were examined it becomes apparent that Americais fast becoming a de-industrialized colony of China as they have been a financial colony of ours.  We supply them with vast amounts of invisible credit via the pegged, undervalued, yuan-dollar exchange rate and raw materials while they supply us with cheap manufactured goods.  Our own money is inflating a mercantilist predator poised to devour our industrial base. Even our military now relies on Chinese parts and our security may rest upon components that are designed to either malfunction or provide a backdoor for hackers.

What about politics?

Bush the First crowed about creating a New World Order and couldn’t beat a womanizing bubba in a tux. Clintonthe Last spent his Peace Dividend buying votes and gutting the military.  Bush the Next led us into a war inIraqwe never should have fought and refused to leave a war inAfghanistanhe didn’t notice we had won.  Obama the Destroyer of Worlds leads from behind while following the UN, apologizes for American exceptionalism, and bows to foreign leaders.  When you fight a war against an enemy you won’t name how will you know if you have won?

Is there anything we could do to reverse our slide into insignificance?

How do you end the degradation of our society into an open sewer of licentiousness?  Values are taught in the home or they are picked up in the street.  Ethics are passed on by people who believe there are absolutes and who live consistently as if those absolutes actually matter.  Telling our children to do as we say not as we do has produced generations of people who do whatever they want.  Hedonism and conspicuous consumption have combined to give us a world where getting what you want is prized above getting what you deserve.  Let those who live right be salt and light in this world and those who seek the day instead of the night will follow.  Billy Graham, Phyllis Schlafly, and the Bible are right Larry Flint, Hugh Heffner, and Bill Clinton are wrong.  And if it isn’t right it’s wrong.

Take the steel boot of regulations off the throat of industry and innovation.  Allow economic freedom and the invisible hand of entrepreneurship will once again transform America into the powerhouse of industry and technology.  Adam Smith and Milton Friedman had it right; Keynes and the Progressives have it wrong.  And if it isn’t right it’s wrong.

End the so-called free trade, and insist upon equitable trade.  If someone uses tricks to add fees to our products add the same fees to their products.  If someone restricts our products in their markets put the same restrictions on their products.  Ross Perot and Pat Buchanan had it right; our progressive politicians have it wrong.  And if it isn’t right it’s wrong.

Return to what was once traditional American policy: a friend to all and entangled with none.  Why are American troops still garrisoned in Europe, Japan, and Korea?  Why are America’s finest stationed in hundreds of bases in over 100 nations?  Bring our troops home.  Let them guard our own borders from the hordes that now walk across them every day.  Let their bases provide an economic stimulus to American towns and cities instead of those of foreigners.  Washington, Hamilton, and Monroe had it right. The Bush dynasty, Clinton, and Obama have it wrong.  And if it isn’t right it’s wrong.

What’s right is right and what’s wrong is wrong.  How do we restore what’s wrong with America?  We do what’s right.

Obamacare Pro-Abortion Mandate Now In Effect

Sandra Fluke complained that during the time spent as a law student, contraception could cost $3,000 or more, and that 40% of the female population at Georgetown University Law School suffered financial hardship because of the high cost of birth control, which the student insurance policy didn’t cover. Her testimony before Congress prompted Rush Limbaugh to make remarks about Fluke, saying that she was a “slut” and a “prostitute” and that she wanted the taxpayers to pay for her promiscuous lifestyle. He ended up apologizing to her for his comments stating that he only intended to be humorous. But this is no laughing matter now.

Under ObamaCare, the Health and Human Services issued a mandate which took effect August 1st. HHS is mandating that all employers (with very few exceptions) provide insurance that covers “all Food and Drug Administration approved contraceptive methods, sterilization procedures, and patient education and counseling for all women with reproductive capacity,” and the contraceptive methods include abortifacient drugs.

Catholic and pro-life organizations and family businesses are livid over the new requirements, lamenting that this marks the beginning of the end of religious freedom in America. Christian businesses and organizations can either comply with the new mandate while acting against their consciences or face hefty fines on the order of $100 per day per employee.

One federal court case a few days before the mandate effective date resulted in a temporary injunction for a Catholic, family owned HVAC business in Colorado, preventing the Obama administration from enforcing its mandates. Had the business not been exempted, they would have owed millions of dollars in penalties per year for non-compliance. But this exemption only applied to them, and even it is temporary.

Certain groups might be granted a 12-month “safe harbor”, after which implementation of the mandate will be required, but most employers, hospitals and schools are now required to offer insurance that covers “women’s preventive services”.
Usually, “preventive care” refers to measures that can be taken to prevent illnesses, like cancer. It looks like they’re treating pregnancy like a cancer. I guess it’s not surprising. They’ve called an unborn baby anything from a “mass of tissue” to a parasite. Babies are burdens these days. Our culture wants the lifestyle of casual sex with no consequences.

And now, because businesses and schools are required to include sterilization, abortifacient drugs and contraceptives in their health plans, it provides the perfect and “free” escape from responsibility. But the fact that it is now free won’t encourage women to use them, at least according to Democrat Representative Jan Schakowsky from Illinois: “This isn’t about promoting sterilization…No one–there aren’t college girls lining up to become sterilized because they feel like it.”

But it does create a situation of moral hazard. The easier it is to access contraceptives and sterilization procedures, the more promiscuous our culture will become; hence, the HHS mandates on coverage for screenings and treatments for all sorts of STD’s.
On one hand, it’s horrible knowing that we are forced to pay taxes to fund mandates that promote abortion. On the other hand, while we fight to get this monstrosity of a bill repealed and replaced with nothing, this is just another case of liberals mandating themselves into extinction.
