Bankrupt Who’s Bankrupt?

A few years ago, with tongue securely in cheek, I wrote about the Fed buying Treasury Bonds. I tried using the absurd to make a point. I explained this would be like issuing your own credit card, buying everything you want, paying for the credit card with your checking account, and filling the checking account with cash advances from the credit card. I was just kidding. I never thought this would actually happen. It has. Similarly, years ago when I wrote about the nationalization of GM and the financial system I was again trying to use absurdity to make a point. My problem is that it’s getting hard to be absurd in America today.

When I read the headlines all I do is mutter to myself, “You just can’t make this stuff up” because when I did no one took me seriously.

Today with the Fed buying treasury bonds America has in effect declared bankruptcy. We might not think so because the mainstream media hasn’t mentioned it but our creditors have noticed. China wants higher interest rates and collateral. Dancing down the yellow-brick road to Insolvency City our leaders announce a new trillion dollar something or other every day. A trillion here, a trillion there and eventually trillion doesn’t sound so shockingly big any more.

What comes after a trillion? It’s a quadrillion with 15 zeros then a quintillion with 18 zeros. What’s the difference between these bewildering figures? A trillion is a million millions. There are a million seconds in 11 days. A billion seconds is around 32 years. And a trillion seconds in approximately 32,000 years. To the average person it doesn’t matter whether it’s a million, a billion or a trillion they’re all too big to wrap our heads around.

What’s next? Nationalize the New York Times and the rest of the liberal media because people won’t support them any longer. How about, the thousands of Acorn workers who suddenly disappeared when it became obvious what a corrupt democrat front organization it really was magically reappeared as ACORN by other names still receiving government money. How about Comprehensive Immigration Reform which Congress repeatedly refused to pass becoming law by presidential fiat, with voting for illegal aliens in an election coming to you soon. Then we have Obamacare nationalizing 17 % of the GDP which may soon squeeze the private healthcare insurance industry out of the market. As people who don’t work at Wal-Mart demonstrate to unionize Wal-Mart. The Federal Government listens to and records everything everyone says without a warrant and the person who tells us about it is a traitor.

Could any of this happen in America the land of the free and the home of the brave? Don’t be absurd!

The current economic woes may not be popular with Americans but George Soros the Bankroll of the Left loves it. He says, “the financial crisis has been stimulating.” Then after mentioning the 11.6 billion he made during the 2008 crash adds, “It is, in a way, the culminating point of my life’s work.” Capitalism may be dyeing all around us but at least the Socialists are making money. And how did this prime mover of the socialist agenda in America make all this money? Did he build factories? Create Jobs? No he runs a hedge fund and makes money appear out of thin air through manipulation of currencies, monetized derivatives, credit swaps and other types of voodoo economics.

Obama’s much ballyhooed recovery may look great from the White House even though it looks quite a bit like the Great Recession from our houses. The mood of the American people is cratering through this Great Recession into everyone’s personal Great Depression.

We may be feeling down but at least we’ve got the Progressives that Soros supports looking out for us.

For example after the crash there was second-generation Senator Dodd who inherited his seat from his father. He’s the guy who fought so hard to stop all those greedy AIG executives from getting their excessive bonuses after he forgot he inserted the amendment into the pork-laden stimulus boondoggle to make sure the AIG executives got their bonuses when the company went on welfare. I’m sure it was a coincidence he received his largest donations from AIG and his wife served as a director of an AIG company. Nobody told Senator Dodd where his money came from, who his wife worked for or what amendments he offered so his outrage and bluster were obviously much more than theatrics.

Here’s a guy who gets sweetheart deals on mortgages for multiple houses and has the nerve to tell a national news conference he didn’t know getting a VIP rate was a special deal. This paragon of fiduciary integrity also voted for a Treasury Secretary who blames his tax deficiencies on not understanding turbo-tax. Giving oversight of the IRS to a man who didn’t know he couldn’t deduct the fee for his children to go to summer camp as a business expense because Turbo-tax didn’t tell him? Maybe the Senate should have held a hearing and investigated Turbo Tax? Maybe they could have ponied up some donations to make all the hub-bub go away.

Having people like these look after our finances is sort of like having the fox guard the hen house. Of course even after they have eaten all the hens these chickens will still come home to roost.

Looks like Chicago has finally made it to the Big Leagues, Big Al would be so proud. I wonder if this administration knows how to appoint someone who pays their taxes. Remember how poor Limousine Tom Daschle was forced to withdraw his nomination just for being a tax cheat? Now it turns out that’s no longer a disqualifier since if it was who would we find to run the federal government and decide how much we should pay in taxes?

Speaking of Chicago one of the people who led Freddie Mac over the cliff was Rahm Emmanuel. He was on the Board of Directors for 14 months. And all he got was $320,000 which is barely $22,800 per month so how much due diligence could anyone expect? Yet another humble public servant from Chicago, while out serving hash to the poor unfortunates, some unpatriotic news hound noticed Michelle’s sneakers cost $540. Thus the theater of the absurd has become main stream.

Bankrupt Who’s Bankrupt? Don’t be absurd!

Just How Corrupt Is the Obama Administration?

by Arnold AhlertObama_Corruption_answer_2_xlarge

Scandal after scandal, coupled with an ongoing contempt for the law and the Constitution, demonstrated by high-level officials and the president himself, point to one deeply troubling conclusion: the Obama administration may be the most corrupt administration ever inflicted on the American public. And while the mainstream media have done a remarkable job deflecting much of that reality, even they cannot keep up with the avalanche of disturbing revelations that arise, seemingly on a daily basis.

We begin with yet another report about the Fast and Furious gunrunning operation, courtesy of Sharyl Attkisson, one of the few remaining reporters who follows a story wherever it goes. Last Wednesday, three more F&F weapons turned up at crime scenes in Mexico. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry and as many as 300 Mexican nationals, including teens at a birthday party, were slaughtered by those weapons. Yet the ensuing investigation was first thwarted by Eric Holder’s refusal to turn over critical documents to congressional investigators, earning him a contempt of Congress citation. It was followed by President Obama invoking executive privilege to prevent the same. Other documents reveal that Eric Holder lied to Congress about when he first heard about the operation. The House Oversight Committee is currently suing for release of the material, but both Holder and Obama remain unscathed by this deadly debacle, even as the Terry family’s effort to find out what really happened to their son has been ignored.

Holder’s duplicity regarding Fast and Furious is hardly an anomaly. On March 1, 2011, Holder told Congress that ”decisions made in the New Black Panther Party (NBPP) case were made by career attorneys in the department.” It was subsequently revealed that an Obama appointee, Associate A.G. Thomas Perrelli, overruled a unanimous decision by DOJ attorneys who favored prosecuting NBPP members seen on videotape attempting to intimidate voters outside a Philadelphia polling station during the 2008 election.

Holder also “misled” Congress last June. “With regard to the potential prosecution of the press for the disclosure of material: that is not something I’ve ever been involved in, heard of or would think would be wise policy,” he said. Yet it was subsequently revealed that Holder personally signed off on a warrant to investigate Fox New reporter James Rosen, allowing the DOJ to search Rosen’s email and phone records, as well as those of his family members.

The DOJ also secretly seized the phone records of AP reporters and editors, claiming they only did so after making “every reasonable effort to obtain information through alternative means.” The timing of the investigation suggested the DOJ was looking into who leaked classified information about a plot to disrupt a second underwear bomber from blowing up a jetliner in Yemen. According to the New York Times, that was one of two leaks Holder was investigating “after a spate of disclosures about the bomb plot, cyberwarfare against Iran, Mr. Obama’s procedures for putting terrorism suspects on a ‘kill list,’ and the raid that killed Osama bin Laden.”

On Monday, the Washington Times offered the DOJ a big assist with regard to that second leak, revealing that “scores of State Department emails” show the Obama administration itself granted Times reporter David E. Sanger access to a series of high-level administration officials. Sanger then wrote a book about the American-Israeli effort to sabotage Iranian nuclear centrifuges with the Stuxnet virus.

As for the raid that killed Osama bin Laden, none other than Vice President Joe Biden revealed the involvement of SEAL Team 6 in that operation. Congress has announced an investigation into the subsequent deaths of 22 SEALs whose helicopter was shot down in Afghanistan in 2011. Part of that investigation will likely include the possibility that Biden’s shameless promotion of administration “toughness” may have made those SEALs targets. Additionally, misleading information provided by the Defense Department to family members of the slain SEALs indicates this scandal may be even bigger than Benghazi.

The ongoing investigation of the IRS’s targeting of conservative groups, which has expanded from “rogue agents” in Cincinnati all the way up to IRS Chief Counsel–one of two agency members appointed by the president–now enters its third month. It has also expanded beyond the IRS, as a series of previously undisclosed emails indicate the Federal Election Commission (FEC) may have been given taxpayer information in violation of federal law and the IRS regulations. Earlier this month House House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-CA) announced he would subpoena IRS documents, because the agency was stonewalling investigators’ requests, exactly as the DOJ did in the Fast and Furious scandal.

With regard to these scandals and others, the administration’s water-carriers in the media, as well as the president himself, have attempted to dismiss them as “phony” or “unnecessary distractions.” This “what difference at this point does it make” attitude, exemplified by former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, is part of a well-established strategy by an administration convinced the attention span of the public can be undermined by both the volume of scandals, and the time it takes to unravel each one. Thus, for example, the Washington Post’s August 15 revelation that the NSA “has broken privacy rules or overstepped its legal authority thousands of times each year since Congress granted the agency broad new powers in 2008″ overshadows the IRS scandal, which overshadows Navy SEAL scandal, which overshadows the Benghazi scandal, which overshadows Fast and Furious–all of which have been dismissed at one time or another as partisan witch hunts.

Yet even if one were to completely concede such a deplorable assertion, there is still no question whatsoever that administration officials have trampled on both the rule of law and the Constitution. Perhaps the most contemptible effort in that regard is President Obama’s transparently unconstitutional effort to suspend various parts of the Affordable Healthcare Act. How Americans feel about that piece of legislation is irrelevant. What’s relevant is that Congress passed the law, including the part that calls for its implementation beginning on Jan. 1, 2014, and the president signed it. There is no Constitutional way the president can simply choose to ignore sections of a law he doesn’t like, or go around Congress completely when they won’t kowtow to his agenda.

Yet that’s precisely what Obama and other administration officials have done. In 2012, the president unilaterally decreed that the same DREAM Act rejected by Congress 18 months earlier would be implemented for the children of illegal aliens. He also gutted part of the Welfare Reform Act of 1996, in clear violation of the statute. Obama is still ignoring a ruling by the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals and federal appeals courts in D.C. and Philadelphia, all of whom ruled his “recess” appointments to the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) were unconstitutional.

And while the contempt for the law starts at the top, it is by no means limited to the president himself. On August 12, Eric Holder ordered his attorneys to stop seeking mandatory sentences in low-level drug cases, by deliberately withholding evidence regarding the amount of drugs involved. Holder is also suing the state of Texas to pre-clear its latest election law, in complete defiance of the recent Supreme Court ruling that stated Section 4 of the Voting Rights Act is “unconstitutional” and that “the formula can no longer be used as a basis for subjecting jurisdiction to preclearance.” He is also pursuing civil rights violations against George Zimmerman, absent a shred of evidence for doing so.

Treasury Secretary Jack Lew is also demonstrating contempt for the law. A Daily Treasury Statement dated July 26 revealed the federal debt had remained at approximately $16.7 trillion for 70 straight days, despite the reality that the federal deficit rose by $98 billion in July. If the debt had continued to increase, it would have topped the debt limit imposed by Congress. Lew characterizes his effort to circumvent Congress as “extraordinary measures.” Yet any American company engaging in similarly “extraordinary” accounting procedures would be targeted for prosecution.

Newly appointed EPA head Gina McCarthy is also comfortable bypassing the Legislative Branch of government. McCarthy announced on August 14 that the EPA will unilaterally enact rules to combat global warming, despite the reality that a bill to establish a cap-and-trade system was rejected by Congress in 2009–when Democrats controlled both chambers of Congress.

Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius is being investigated by Congress for soliciting donations from health organizations to promote Obamacare. In May, Senator Lamar Alexander (R-TN) explained that such an effort might be yet another attempt to bypass Congress. “If she is raising money from private entities and coordinating with those entities to do something that Congress has refused to do, the Constitution doesn’t allow that and federal law makes it a criminal violation,” he told National Review.

Congress may have trouble getting to the truth. According to an Associated Press story published in June, Sebelius and a number of other administration officials have been using ”secret government email accounts they say are necessary to prevent their inboxes from being overwhelmed with unwanted messages.” Yet the AP further notes that, despite filing a Freedom of Information Act three months earlier, most agencies have failed to turn over such information, and that the Labor Department demanded more than $1 million for the account names. The AP pursued the story after it was discovered that former EPA head Lisa Jackson was conducting official business using a secret email account under the alias “Richard Windsor.”

And lest anyone think the practice may have been discontinued, the House Oversight Committee last Tuesday requested that IRS official Lois Lerner turn over emails sent to, or from, her personal “” account. “Through the course of the investigation, we have learned that you sent documents related to your official duties from your official IRS e-mail account to an e-mail account labeled ‘Lois Home,’” a letter sent to Lerner states. “This raises some serious questions concerning your use of a non-official e-mail account to conduct official business.”

So much for the self-professed “most transparent administration in history.”

All of the above suggests the Obama administration is guided by one over-riding imperative: we’ll do whatever we want, and we dare someone to stop us. Since the media are more a part of the problem than the solution, that burden falls on the Judicial Branch of government, or the Republican Party. As mentioned above, Eric Holder is already ignoring a Supreme Court ruling regarding voting rights, and Obama will ignore the ruling on his illegal NLRB appointees until the Supreme Court hears the case next term.

As for Republicans, investigations into the numerous administration scandals is ongoing, but best described as plodding. This is due in large part to the sheer volume of dubious activity they are tasked with investigating. But their reticence in certain areas, most notably House Speaker John Boehner’s (R-OH) refusal to appoint a Select Committee to investigate Benghazi, despite pressure from fellow Republicans, is deeply disturbing.

Yet their calculatingly reticent reaction to the president’s determination to ignore the law is beyond the pale. Perhaps the best encapsulation of the party’s unbearably pusillanimous attitude was expressed last week by Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) with regard to so-called comprehensive immigration reform. ”I believe that this president will be tempted, if nothing happens in Congress, he will be tempted to issue an executive order as he did for the DREAM Act kids a year ago, where he basically legalizes 11 million people by the sign of a pen,” Rubio said in an interview last Tuesday.

In other words, give Obama what he wants because he’ll take it anyway. It is precisely this kind of capitulation that has millions of Americans wondering if there is anything Republicans will do to throttle any aspect of this administration’s illegal behavior. It is not an exaggeration to say the fate of the nation may depend on the answer to that question.

US government openly admits arming Mexican drug gangs with 30,000 firearms – but why?

by Mike Adams

It is now a widely-reported fact that under the Obama administration, U.S. federal agents actively placed over 30,000 fully-functional weapons into the hands of Mexican drug gangs, then halted all surveillance and tracking activities of where those weapons were going.

This is not a conspiracy theory, nor a piece of fiction. It is now an openly-admitted fact that this was pulled off by the BATFE (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, more commonly called “ATF”) under orders from Washington. The program was called “Fast and Furious.”

Even Reuters is now covering the news and reporting how members of Congress are outraged to learn that this happened (…).

Details are also starting to leak about the cover-up inside ATF, which was led by the U.S. Attorney in Arizona, Dennis Burke, an Obama appointee (…). The engineering of the illegal gun running went right up the chain of command to the director of the ATF, Kenneth Melson, who is now expected to resign. The real planning of this event went even higher up the chain of command in Washington, possibly all the way to Attorney General Eric Holder (…).

Among the firearms sold to the Mexican drug gangs were AK-47s, thousands of pistols and, remarkably, .50-caliber rifles which are typically used to disable vehicles or carry out sniper-based assassinations at extremely long ranges (up to two miles). The mainstream media is now reporting that these weapons are turning up in violent crimes being committed in Phoenix, Arizona. As an ABC news affiliate reports:

“According to the testimony of three Phoenix ATF agents, including Dodson, hundreds of weapons are now on the streets in the United States and Mexico, possibly in the hands of criminals. Dodson estimated the number could be as many as 1,800 weapons. He estimated agents in the Phoenix field division facilitated the sale of approximately 2,500 weapons to straw purchasers. A few hundred have been recovered.” (…)

How the “Fast and Furious” program put thousands of weapons directly into the hands of Mexican drug gangs

Here’s how “Fast and Furious” worked: Under orders from Washington, ATF agents were specifically told to acquire these weapons using “straw” buyers in the USA, find new buyers in Mexican drug gangs, then sell the weapons and “lose track” of them. Although some agents raised concerns about the insanity, they were overruled by the higher-ups in Washington who wanted to pursue this policy for their own reasons. “It made no sense to us either, it was just what we were ordered to do, and every time we questioned that order there was punitive action,” said Phoenix Special Agent John Dodson.

But what could be the reasons for Washington initiating such a program in the first place? Why would the Obama administration actively send 30,000 sniper rifles, assault weapons and firearms into Mexico even while claiming to follow an anti-gun stance back in the USA?

To answer that question, you need to understand P.R.S — Problem, Reaction, Solution. It is the “playbook” that governments use to get what they want, which usually involves: 1) Disarming their populations, 2) Taking away all their rights and freedoms, and then 3) Ruling over their people as tyrants with complete power.

Precisely such an effort is now underway in the United States, led by the Obama administration which has repeatedly demonstrated itself to be an enemy of the U.S. Constitution and its Bill of Rights.

How Problem, Reaction, Solution really works

If you’re the U.S. government, you can’t just announce a new program to disarm the country, end the Bill of Rights and install yourself as the King. People won’t go for it if you try to sell it that way. Instead, you need to find a way to get people to BEG you to do all that.

So you need a way to put people in a state of mind where they are terrified of drugs, terrified of guns and terrified of the border violence — to the point where they insist that somebody in Washington do something about it.

Therefore, you first need a way to cause the problem that results in all the violence that people react to. You effectively need to create violence and then wait for people to beg you to stop it.

This is where the Obama administration’s program to send 30,000 firearms into Mexico comes into play. If you want to cause gun violence and drug war violence, what better way to accomplish it than to just arm all the bad guys?

Think about it: 30,000 weapons in the hands of drug criminals! Then all you have to do is sit back and wait for all the violence to kick in. And it has kicked in — in huge numbers. Shootings on the border, kidnappings, armed conflict across the border with U.S. border agents, and so on. Violent crimes in Arizona are now being committed with these very same weapons the ATF trafficked into the hands of Mexican drug gangs.

As Judicial Watch president Tim Fitton explains, his belief is that Operation Fast and Furious was purely an anti-gun political ploy from the Obama administration, designed to put more guns into the hands of criminals as a justification for confiscating guns from all citizens. He adds, “I think another major part of this story is that the narrative of the Obama administration and the ATF is that, ‘wouldn’t it be great if we could tie guns, as part of our anti-gun agenda, to the Mexican civil war, as opposed to, you know, our lack of enforcement of the drug laws or failure to protect the borders.'” (…)

And here’s the real kicker: Of all the weapons now being confiscated by police in Mexico, an astonishing 70 percent came from the United States. So now you have a situation where the USA is actually arming the criminals in Mexico and destabilizing that country’s entire system of law and order. The drug gangs are at war with the police there, and thanks to thinks like U.S.-supplies AK-47s and .50-caliber sniper rifles, the drug gangs are winning!

ATF can now demand more power and bigger budgets

Getting back to the U.S. issue, if you’re the DEA or the ATF, you now have 30,000 more reasons to have your own budgets increased. There’s a wave of violence coming across the border! The drug gangs are out of control! They’re shooting back!

Well gee, I wonder why? It’s because the ATF actually sold them these 30,000 rifles under orders from Washington.

And now the Obama administration is, predictably, saying there’s so much “gun violence” in the Southern USA that new laws are needed to curb gun sales there.

Seriously? New laws? What about the 30,000 guns the ATF openly and admittedly sold to the Mexican drug gangs? Wasn’t that already a violation of law?

It all comes back to Problem, Reaction, Solution, you see. Want to keep the useless War on Drugs going a little longer? Just dump a few thousand pounds of cocaine into the hands of criminals and let ’em run loose with it. Want to beef up the budgets of the ATF? Just distribute 30,000 illegal weapons into the hands of drug gangs and then sit back and wait for people to beg for your help. Want to justify a war on “terror” in the Middle East? Dream up some stupid story about Weapons of Mass Destruction and then launch a war.

For every power-hungry tyrannical agenda in Washington, there’s a false flag operation that will make it come true.

If the U.S. government would actively arm drug gangs, in what other ways might it betray the American people?

Now that you know the truth about how Washington put 30,000 guns into the hands of Mexican drug gangs, it naturally makes you start to wonder about the government’s involvement with things like vaccines.

Want to make people so afraid of infectious disease that they beg for vaccines? Just release an infectious disease into the population yourself! It’s a simple matter, really.

Want to get the public to beg for new food safety regulations? Just release e.coli into the food supply and then wait for the deaths to be reported in the news. All of a sudden people are demanding more food safety regulations.

Want to justify military imperialism and expansion? Just stage your own terrorist attack against your own country! Then magically find the passports of some terrorists at the scene of the crime and blame the whole thing on them.

When theory becomes fact

You see, all this used to exist solely in the realm of conspiracy theory. A few years ago, if you even suggested this kind of thing was going on, you were called a kook. But now it’s an established fact being reported by Reuters, Washington Post and other major news outlets. Now the U.S. government has been forced to admit that yes, it actively delivered 30,000 firearms into the hands of Mexican drug gangs and then intentionally stopped tracking where they went.

This is no longer conspiracy theory. It’s conspiracy FACT. And similar types of operations are being planned right now for other agendas the government has in mind: Taking away your Fourth Amendment rights, for example. How do you accomplish that? Just stage an airport terrorism attack, just like the one the TSA was caught rehearsing in Minnesota (

Want to take away peoples’ Second Amendment rights? Just brainwash some low-IQ psychopath to walk into a shopping mall and start blazing away with fully automatic weapons that were provided to him by the ATF!

It’s simple, you see. Pick a topic, choose an agenda, then cause the problem yourself. Then sit back and wait for the reaction. Works every time.

The CDC pulled the same stunt back in the 1980’s with AIDS. At a time when the CDC was facing severe budget cuts, it actually hyped up the whole AIDS epidemic and started releasing complete scientific fictions as if they were fact. The disease mongering by the CDC caused widespread fear and panic across the country, earning it huge budget increases from the U.S. government.

This is all fully documented in the movie House of Numbers, by the way, using recorded video interviews from many of the key scientists involved in the whole fiasco who finally went on record to tell the truth. Almost everything you’ve been fed about AIDS is a fabrication or a distortion of the scientific truth. Watch these astonishing videos to see for yourself:

The American government is working AGAINST you, not for you

The point in all this is that much of what you see happening in the world today in terms of terrorism, the drug war, infectious disease and health care are just fabricated, staged events actually pulled off by the very people who stand to benefit from the reaction!

Suckers and sheeple always believe the mainstream news at face value. They believe we’re under attack from terrorists who bring down tall buildings, or we’re being assaulted by Mexican drug gangs on the border, or we’re threatened by the Swine Flu. That’s what suckers are supposed to believe, you see: That your government is never working against you… it’s always working FOR you, right?

But intelligent people know the opposite is true: Your government is usually plotting against you and trying to figure out how to expand its power, expand its reach, reduce your freedoms and control your life. This is accomplished by unleashing the very problems that the government claims to be fighting to prevent.

The government, for example, says it’s trying to solve our nation’s economic problems. And how does it accomplish that? By generating trillions of dollars in new fiat currency and handing it over to the criminals running Wall Street. This has the net effect of stealing money from everybody else through dollar devaluation.

How does the government solve our national health care crisis? By enacting Obamacare, which mandates that more people buy into a system that has utterly failed to serve the health interests of the American people in the first place!

So at the very same time the government says it’s working to improve the economy, it’s actually stealing from you behind your back. At the very same time the government says it’s trying to stop cancer, its own health-related agencies (National Cancer Institute, for example) are openly engaged in massive disinformation campaigns that spread false information about sunlight being “dangerous” to your health (while conveniently ignoring the truth about vitamin D and its cancer preventive properties).

The government says it wants to make your food safer, and yet the USDA keeps approving genetically modified foods that are essentially massive biological experiments that cause widespread infertility and disease.

The same story goes on and on… with fluoride in the water, mercury in dental fillings, aspartame in diet sodas, pesticide use in agriculture and so on. At nearly every turn, the government itself is actively plotting against the People to keep them financially enslaved, biologically diseased and mentally ignorant.

Shipping guns into Mexico, you see, is just a tiny part of the big picture that’s going on today in the USA. The same process — Problem, Reaction, Solution — is in use almost everywhere in government at both the state and federal level.

Big Government is the enemy of peace and freedom

Bureaucrats hate to lose their jobs, and if there’s a way to stage something that makes them suddenly look more important, they won’t hesitate to roll it out. The U.S. government, just so you know, has been actively engaged in weapons trafficking, drug running and counterfeiting for decades. If you or I did what our own government does every single day, we’d be arrested as felony criminals. But when the government runs guns into Mexico, or traffics in cocaine, or prints counterfeit dollar bills that have no backing with real value, somehow it’s all okay.

Amazing how our own government has now turned into the very criminals that it claims to be protecting us against, isn’t it? Who are the real terrorists in America? The ATF agents running guns into the hands of Mexican drug gangs, of course. And the FBI agents who set up Arab-looking patsies to try to set off fake bombs that the FBI actually assembled for them!

By the way, Alex Jones ( has been covering all this for years. He’s been saying this all along, and time and time again, he’s been proven right. I realize his presentation style may seem a little intense to some people, but at the end of the day, Alex Jones is far more accurate at decoding what’s really going on behind the scenes than any mainstream news channel or newspaper. Here’s an article from InfoWars on this very topic:…

I’m scheduled to host the Alex Jones show next week and will likely be discussing more about the ATF’s gun-running activities in Mexico. In the mean time, stay tuned to for more stories that aren’t afraid to report the truth about what’s really happening in our world today.

U.S. Drone Manufacturers Contribute Millions to Congressional Campaigns

by Joe Wolverton,II

President Obama’s drone fever is contagious and is spreading worldwide, and the American industries that build the drones are slavering over the chance to supply the demand.

Christopher Ames, the director of international strategy development for Pentagon contractor General Atomics Aeronautical, was almost gleeful in his statement to Reuters regarding the opening of a potentially lucrative overseas market for his company’s remote control killing machines.

“There has been very considerable international interest,” he told Reuters. “There have been countries that for a long time have been asking for Predator… (the export variant) opens up those markets to us.”

Ames would not disclose which countries were expressing the most interest in acquiring his company’s drones, but he did confirm that Latin America, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia “were all areas of considerable buyer interest.”

Diplomatic cables released by WikiLeaks reveals that several regimes, including those in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, have tried to secure contracts to purchase armed drones from American providers but have thus far been unsuccessful.

In fairness, General Atomics isn’t the only American defense contractor anxious to peddle the Predator-style drones to other eager governments. Northrop Grumman and other companies continue to lobby Congress and the White House to ease export restrictions on drone sales. Such wide open sales could, of course, result in the drones ultimately ending up in the hands of regimes that would use the devices to harm American interests around the globe — Iran, for example.

The prohibition currently in place was established in 1987. As an article on reports:

In 1987, the Reagan administration joined other democracies (but not Israel) in signing an agreement that prohibited the sale of unmanned aircraft that carry 1,102 pounds for more than 186 miles at a time. Because UAVs [unmanned aerial vehicles] below this size are allowed, some manufacturers have begun to get around the restrictions by building smaller drones.

Manufacturers aren’t happy having to adhere to these Reagan-era restrictions. Wes Bush, Northrop’s president and CEO, argues that “export restrictions are hurting this industry in America without making us any safer.”

What is certain is that additional arms sales will not make us safer, either. Daryl Kimball, executive director of the Arms Control Association, told the Los Angeles Times that making larger and deadlier drones could make starting wars much easier and cheaper for governments currently considering such operations.

“The proliferation of this technology will mark a major shift in the way wars are waged,” Kimball said. “We’re talking about very sophisticated war machines here. We need to be very careful about who gets this technology. It could come back to hurt us.”

Not accustomed to not getting their way, drone manufacturers know that the way to a congressman’s heart is through his wallet.

Chances are readers have never heard of the Unmanned Systems Caucus.

The relationship between drone makers and lawmakers was recently reported by an Arizona radio station:

The drone caucus — like the technology it promotes — is becoming increasingly important in the nation’s capitol as the government looks to unmanned vehicles to help save money on defense, better patrol the country’s borders and provide a new tool to U.S. law enforcement agencies and civilians.

“It’s definitely a powerful caucus,” said Alex Bronstein-Moffly, an analyst with First Street Research Group, a D.C.-based company that analyzes lobbying data.

“It’s probably up there in the more powerful caucuses that sort of is not talked about.” And, he says, caucus members are well placed to influence government spending and regulations.

Congressman Howard P. “Buck” McKeon (R-Calif.) is the co-chair of the caucus. Notably, McKeon also serves as the chairman of the House Armed Services Committee.

It is noteworthy that the caucus includes eight members of the House Committee on Appropriations, the body that has substantial control over the federal government’s purse strings.

Many of the drone caucus members are supported financially by the industry they endorse. According to Bronstein-Moffly’s data, the 58 drone caucus members received a total of $2.3 million in contributions from political action committees affiliated with drone manufacturers since 2011.

Furthermore, 21 members of the drone caucus represent border states. These congressmen received about $1 million in deposits to their campaign coffers from top large drone makers in the 2010 and 2012 election cycles, according to information reported by the Center for Responsive Politics and analyzed by Fronteras Desk and Investigative Newsource.

For example, General Atomics is among the top three all-time campaign contributors to California Congressmen Brian Bilbray, Ken Calvert, Jerry Lewis, and McKeon.

In 2010 and 2012, General Atomics’ PAC has paid out over $140,000 in donations to drone caucus members representing states located on the border with Mexico.

A PAC largely financed by Northrop Grumman contributed about $150,000 to 16 congressmen in the drone caucus who represent districts in California, Texas, Arizona, and Nevada.

No wonder these companies are champing at the bit to grease the skids for the removal of obstacles to their overseas sales plans. In a recently published study, the Teal Group estimates that UAV spending will almost double over the next decade from current worldwide UAV expenditures of $6.6 billion annually to $11.4 billion, totaling just over $89 billion in the next 10 years.

“The UAV market will continue to be strong despite cuts in defense spending,” said Philip Finnegan, Teal Group’s director of corporate analysis and an author of the study. “UAVs have proved their value in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan and will continue to be a high priority for militaries in the United States and worldwide.”

The millions spent by these drone manufacturers to federal legislators seem to be influencing the White House, as well. President Obama has already announced his plan to supply missiles that will arm the drones already sold to Italy.

According to a story printed by Reuters, the Obama administration will proceed with the implementation of its projected sale of American-made drones to Italy. Italy will then join the United Kingdom in deploying the remote control weapons loaded with “laser-guided bombs and Hellfire missiles.”

Until the sale of the weaponry is complete, Italy’s reported arsenal of six Reaper drones sits unarmed and thus useless to the president and his global allies who remain committed to avoiding the tedium of trials of those suspected of threatening international security.

The cost of mounting these sophisticated weapons to the Italian drones runs about $17 million, money that can then be redistributed into accounts funding the cost of policing the globe and protecting the “homeland.”

Now that the National Defense Authorization Act has designated the United States as an active theatre in the interminable War on Terror, it’s about time Europe be officially tagged, as well. The sale of drone weapons to Italy (and previously to Britain) is likely just the first of many such deadly deals to be made with other regimes clamoring to join the claque of countries with the capacity to eliminate enemies with the push of a button.

While it is the policy of the State Department to not comment on proposed sales of U.S. military hardware until formal notifications have been completed, one State Department official quoted by Reuters described his position on the greater good served by increasing the size of the global drone market:

“The transfer of U.S. defense articles and service to allies like Italy enables us to work together more effectively to meet shared security challenges,” said the official, who declined to be named.

Yes, security. It is the freedom and civil liberties of Americans that is the now common sacrificial lamb tied to the altar of security and corporate bottom lines. The Constitution is shredded and used as kindling in the fires that consume the blood offering. When safety is “secured,” due process and other judicial protections are then stripped and prepped for the surrender to the gods of globalism and big business.

Congressmen Accuse White House Of Leaking Intel

A bipartisan group of senators has called an investigation into how the news media has received information from the White House about drone strikes and cyber warfare.

From NPR News, this is ALL THINGS CONSIDERED. I’m Audie Cornish.

And I’m Robert Siegel. Some Republicans are accusing the Obama administration of leaking classified information for political gain. A handful of news articles recently have outlined U.S. intelligence operations, the dismantling of terror plots, cyber attacks directed at Iran.

Well, here’s NPR’s Andrea Seabrook now on the firestorm those stories have stirred up at the Capitol.

ANDREA SEABROOK, BYLINE: South Carolina Republican Senator Lindsey Graham went on Fox News last night to talk about the intelligence leaks. He said you don’t have to be Sherlock Holmes to figure out what’s going on here.

SENATOR LINDSEY GRAHAM: We’ve had three leaks of intelligence that paint the president as a strong leader.

SEABROOK: Then Mr. Obama’s former presidential rival, Republican John McCain, went on CBS this morning to charge the administration with creating a political advantage with the leaks.

White House spokesman Jay Carney called the accusation grossly irresponsible. Three stories in particular rile the lawmakers: an Associated Press item about a CIA disruption of an al-Qaida bomb plot, a piece in the Washington Post detailing the administration’s request to increase drone attacks in Yemen and two New York Times stories about the president’s evolution as a military leader, in which whole scenes are recounted from inside the White House situation room.

SENATOR DIANNE FEINSTEIN: We’re not finger-pointing. What we’re trying to do is say we have a problem and we want to stop that problem.

SEABROOK: California Democrat Dianne Feinstein heads the Senate Intelligence Committee. She and her top committee colleagues of both parties met with the Director of National Intelligence today to talk about what to do. Michigan Republican Mike Rogers chairs the House Intelligence Committee.

SENATOR MIKE ROGERS: To have all four of us come forward today and talk about the severity of these leaks I hope sends a very clear message about how dangerous this has become.

SEABROOK: Both sides say they’ll add new protections for classified information and new sanctions for leakers into the Intelligence Authorization Bill still pending in Congress. House Republicans plan their own investigation of the leaks and they’re considering appointing an outside inspector general.

Obama IRS refunds ‘Illegals’ $4.2 billion for kids–in Mexico

by Jeffrey klein

This bombshell dropped on Monday in Washington, D.C., causing outrage throughout the halls of Congress, and now beyond, to the “genuine” taxpayers who have been robbed all across America.

Investigative television reporter Bob Segall of Indianapolis NBC affiliate WTHR TV Channel 13, was contacted by a long-time central Indiana tax preparer, who blew the whistle on a multi-billion dollar tax fraud about which the IRS has done nothing, according to the TV news show video segment that aired on Monday.

“There is not a doubt in my mind there’s huge fraud taking place here,” he said, slowly flipping through the pages of a [heavily redacted] tax return.

“We’re talking about a multi-billion dollar fraud scheme here that’s taking place and no one is talking about it,” he said.

The scheme involves illegal immigrants that are filing tax returns, claiming child credits for multiple dependents under their support in “their” U.S. household, and collecting enormous cash refunds–such as one persons tax return that showed income of over $14,000, who collected a cash refund of over $10,300.

In 1996 during the Clinton Administration, the Individual Tax Identification Number (ITIN) was created in order for both resident and non-resident aliens, regardless of immigration status, to fulfill their tax filing and payment obligations under IRS regulations–even though an ITIN does not confer the right to work and receive income in the United States.

This year tax preparation offices across the country were flooded by an estimated 2 million illegal immigrants, who in growing numbers have been taking advantage of a tax loophole called the Additional Child Tax Credit–a fully-refundable credit of up to $1000 per child–meant to ease the income tax burden on working families who have children living at home.

However, Segall’s investigation and reporting found many illegal immigrants who were claiming these tax credits, but for kids who live in Mexico–even listing nieces and nephews.

“We’ve seen sometimes 10 or 12 dependents, most times nieces and nephews, on these tax forms,” the whistleblower told Eyewitness News. “The more you put on there, the more you get back.”

After Segall reviewed many of the heavily redacted tax returns, it was still clear that the tax filers had received large tax refunds after claiming child tax credits for many dependents.

“Here’s a return right here: we’ve got a $10,3000 refund for nine nieces and nephews,” he said, pointing to the words “niece” and “nephew” listed on the tax forms nine separate times.

“We’re getting an $11,000 refund on this tax return. There’s seven nieces and nephews,” he said, pointing to another set of documents. “I can bring out stacks and stacks. It’s just so easy it’s ridiculous.”

Under agreement not to reveal their identity or filming them face on, Segall of WTHR was able to speak with several of the illegal immigrants who, using Segall’s translator–confirmed it is easy.

One of the workers, who was interviewed at his [appeared to be a 2 bedroom mobile home] in southern Indiana, admitted that four other illegal immigrants used his address to file tax returns–even though they don’t even live there.

These four workers claimed that not only they, but a total of 20 children between them–about 30 people–lived in the residence.

As a result, the IRS sent the illegal immigrants tax refunds totaling $29,608.

Upon Segall questioning the man regarding that incredible residency claim, he replied … “They don’t live here … the other kids are in their country of origin, which is Mexico,” later saying that none of the 20 children have ever visited the United States–let alone lived here.

Segall then asked why ‘undocumented workers’ should receive tax credits for children living in a foreign country, which is a violation of IRS tax rules?

“If the opportunity is there and they can give it to me, why not take advantage of it?”

Segall then met with Russell George, the U.S. Treasury Department’s Inspector General for Tax Administration, who stated … “The magnitude of the problem has grown exponentially,” but that the IRS has known about the problem for years.

Mr. George said his department has repeatedly warned the IRS that additional child tax credits are being abused by undocumented workers–in 2009 alone, their annual audit report showed that ITIN tax filers received about $1 billion in additional child tax credits.

The same audit report from 2010 showed it cost the American tax payers more than $4.2 billion.

“Keep in mind, we’re talking $4 billion per year.” George continued by saying “It’s very troubling” that the IRS has not taken any action on the matter–despite these multiple warnings from their own inspector general.

“Millions of people are seeking this tax credit who, we believe, are not entitled to it,” said the inspector general. “We have made recommendations to [IRS] as to how they could address this, and they have [still] not taken sufficient action in our view to solve the problem.”

Segall’s investigation revealed that claims for additional child tax credits by ITIN filers have skyrocketed during the past decade–from $161 million in 2001 to $4.2 billion in tax year 2010.

He also found that illegal immigrants filed 3.02 million tax returns in 2010, with 72% of those returns (2.18 million) claiming the additional child tax credit.

Segall’s attempts to speak with any of the 100,000 employees of the IRS were rebuffed; instead they emailed this statement…

“The law has been clear for over a decade that eligibility for these credits does not depend on work authorization status or the type of taxpayer identification number used. Any suggestion that the IRS shouldn’t be paying out these credits under current law to ITIN holders is simply incorrect. The IRS administers the law impartially and applies it as it is written,” the statement said.

George disagrees with that position and believes the IRS should be doing more to prevent undocumented workers from getting billions in US tax dollars.

“The IRS is not doing something as simple as requesting sufficient documentation from people seeking this credit,” he said. “Once the money goes out the door, it’s nearly impossible for the IRS to get it back.”

Segall says that the IRS says it can’t change the system unless it gets permission from Congress; and closing this loophole requires lawmakers to pass a new law specifically excluding illegal immigrants from claiming additional child tax credits.

However, the IRS “Ten Facts About Child Tax Credit,” does not concur, as illegal immigrants, by definition, fail the citizenship qualification test.

Let’s remember, this is an election year, Barack Obama is CEO, Harry Reid can block any legislation in the Senate, and Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner, who is George Russell’s boss, is still claiming that Obamacare will reduce healthcare costs.

Rep. Duncan Hunter Calls For A Change to How The Government Measures Unemployment

by Molly Harper

Republican lawmaker is intensifying his push for legislation that would change how the government measures the unemployment rate.
Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-Calif.) intends to press GOP leaders to move his bill to include the number of individuals who gave up looking for work in the percentage of jobless claims.
Should the government measure unemployment with Hunter’s figure, the unemployment rate would be higher than the current rate of approximately 8 percent — a potentially devastating assessment for the White House, especially in an election year.

The San Diego-based lawmaker contends that he did not introduce his bill to make the president look bad, because the number would reflect poorly on all individuals in charge of government.
During a recent interview with Fox News Channel’s Martha MacCallum, Hunter said, “it makes me look bad too when unemployment is sliding … it makes the Republican Congress, the president and the Democratic Senate — anybody who is an elected representative and in charge look bad. I don’t think it goes one way.”
His one-page legislation, the REAL Unemployment Calculation Act, would require “the federal government [to] cite, as its official unemployment calculation, the figure that takes into account those who are no longer looking for work,” not only those individuals actively seeking jobs.

For example, the most recent unemployment rate released on Friday, at 8.2 percent unemployment, would be officially considered 9.6 percent, the so-called U-5 rate that was also released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).
The measure would not require any additional numbers to be calculated; it would simply use a statistic that the BLS already calculates each month, alongside the so-called official unemployment rate and a handful of other stats.
The U-5 stat measures “total unemployed, plus discouraged workers, plus all other persons marginally attached to the labor force, as a percent of the civilian labor force plus all persons marginally attached to the labor force,” while the U-3 stat or the “official unemployment rate,” measures “total unemployed, as a percent of the civilian labor force.”
Though the government modernized how unemployment was surveyed in 1994 — adding the several different calculations, including the U-5 rate, to the mix — the official unemployment calculation has remained largely the same, according to a report on the “alternative unemployment measures” released by the BLS in 1994.
“Since the inception of the survey in 1940, only relatively minor changes have been made to the official definition of unemployment, despite numerous outside reviews and ongoing assessments by academicians, business and labor organizations and various interest groups. The official measure has withstood the test of time largely because of its objectivity,” wrote John Bregger, former assistant commissioner for current employment analysis.
For the past two decades, there has been a consistent spread between the U-3 and U-5 rates, until several years ago during President Obama’s administration, when the U-3 began to improve while the U-5 rose, according to a recent study of Labor Department data released by Investor’s Business Daily in late February.
Hunter said he believes it is imperative to deem the U-5 rate as the “official unemployment rate” because, as he says, the U-3 avoids “a subset of Americans who are not counted.”
“The Bureau of Labor Statistics does in fact provide alternative measurements of unemployment, but they are consistently overshadowed by the U-3 rate, which ignores a large group of people. We need to be realistic and focus our attention on the figure that provides the most accurate representation of national unemployment — not the figure that under-represents the challenge we face,” Hunter said in a recent statement.
Still, the U-5 rate does not factor in the reasons that individuals stopped looking for work, such as deciding to go to school, inheriting money or realizing that jobs were not available in their local area. It also does not account for the number of individuals who are on unemployment insurance, according to a source familiar with the monthly survey.
The Bureau of Labor Statistics refrained from commenting on Hunter’s legislation.
The Education and Workforce Committee has no action on Hunter’s bill planned at this time, according to committee spokesman Brian Newell.
Regardless, Hunter intends to pursue additional co-sponsors for his bill, spokesman Joe Kasper told The Hill. He will “definitely” make his case for consideration of the measure to leaders “in the coming weeks.”
Hunter conceded that should his measure become law, it could be politically detrimental to his party, but to him the most accurate picture of unemployment in the United States ranks above politics.
“If a Republican gets elected this year and gets sworn in next year this will be their unemployment figure too. So you have to have truth no matter who it hurts or who it actually affects. You have to have the actual truth, that’s what we need here — truth to power. And that’s how things start getting fixed,” Hunter said on Fox News.

The Fast And Furious Tyranny Of Those That Would Disarm Americans

By now, most Liberty News Network, Vanguard of Freedom Network, Patriot Action Network, and Grassfire Nation readers know that Barack Obama’s and Eric Holder’s failed “Fast and Furious” gun tracking program, was actually a facade, a front for a covert operation that went wrong.
We have learned from repeated testimony and documents that have been reluctantly released by the Obama Administration to investigators, that the now notorious Fast and Furious gun-tracking program resulted in the illegal delivery of automatic weapons to Mexican drug-cartel assassins, and that the weapons so delivered were used in numerous crimes resulting in hundreds of homicides, including the death of at least one American Law Enforcement Officer.
We have learned from emails that have been released to the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, and from the investigative work by Sheryl Attkisson of CBS News, that there is now evidence that the actual intent of the program was to justify the introduction, and passage of Legislation that would create more gun control, in clear defiance and opposition to the 2nd Amendment of the Constitution.
In an editorial in the Daily Caller on the 8th of February, Chris Cox,  Executive Director of the National Rifle Association’s Institute for Legislative Action, wrote regarding Eric Holder’s most recent testimony before the Oversight Committee about Fast and Furious that:
“In a rash attempt to deflect attention away from himself and his own irresponsibility, Holder let Congress know that the Obama administration is still working toward the day when it can reinstate former President Bill Clinton’s so-called “assault weapons” ban. According to Holder…’This administration has consistently favored the reinstitution of the assault weapons ban. It is something that we think was useful in the past with regard to the reduction that we’ve seen in crime, and certainly would have a positive impact on our relationship and the crime situation in Mexico.’…”
Cox attempts to reconcile the Obama Administration’s and thus Eric Holder’s Justice Department logic of deliberately putting guns in the hands of criminals:
“…It’s difficult to follow Holder’s logic here, but it goes something like this …The Obama administration — particularly Eric Holder’s Justice Department — oversaw an epic scandal whereby our own federal government illegally funneled thousands of firearms into the hands of Mexican drug lords. This contributed to the death of one U.S. Border Patrol agent and hundreds of Mexicans….Despite being head of the Justice Department and our nation’s chief law enforcement officer, Eric Holder claims he doesn’t know how or why this scandal occurred, or even who under his charge may have authorized it. He also refuses to turn over critical documents to congressional investigators that could help prevent something this tragic and corrupt from ever happening again….Therefore, Obama and Holder are confident that if they can ban a large number of the legal firearms that law-abiding Americans use every day for self-defense, hunting, and recreational and competitive target shooting, it will help solve Mexico’s crime problem…”
So let’s get this straight so that we are all on the same page:  The Obama Administration has an agenda of passing anti-gun legislation.  To advance this agenda, they used the template of a previous gun-tracking operation run during the Bush Administration.  This time, however, the weapons that were given to Mexican Drug Cartel operatives, were intentionally not tracked, and were disseminated to criminals, knowing full well that the weapons would turn up at crime scenes, where they would then be collected to prove that guns sold by Americans to Mexican criminals were being used to commit crimes, and then this “proof” is used to justify passing anti-gun legislation here in the U.S.
Behold:[youtube][/youtube]We also see in this report the developing cover-up of Fast and Furious:

We suspected, some KNEW instinctively, and others believed, that there was an intentional motive to deceive Americans, in order to impose upon the nation, another violation of citizens’ 2nd Amendment rights.  Because the Obama administration was faced with having lied to justify pushing anti-gun legislation (as is shown in the following video) they concocted a program to prove falsely that gun legislation was needed in order to disarm Americans, regardless of how many people those guns would and will kill.  It is the calculated, cold-blooded homicide of hundreds of people in order to advance the Obama Administration’s anti-gun political agenda.

At every turn, and every instance, Congressional Investigators of the Oversight Committee, Representatives Darrel Issa, Chuck Grassley, et. al, have been thwarted in attempting to get at the truth. The stonewalling came in the form of stalling and half-truths, denials, and finally, “corrections of previous statements” by Obama Administration officials in order to obscure and deflect responsibility.
The latest development in the Fast and Furious stonewall is that Holder has missed the deadline that Congressman Issa imposed.  House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa threatened to bring a contempt citation against Attorney General Eric Holder if he did not comply with a demand for “Operation Fast and Furious” documents by Five P.M. on February 9th. According to CNN Justice Producer Terry Frieden, Issa “…has granted a Justice Department request for an extension. No new deadline was set…”

Frieden says:
“…Deputy Attorney General James Cole had informed the committee in a letter last week that it would be “impossible” to comply with the document request by Issa’s deadline…An aide to Issa said the congressman was satisfied that Holder had shown some flexibility on the documents issue in his testimony before the committee a week earlier. However, the aide added, ‘They won’t have forever.’…”
An April 2nd 2009 article in The Economist fawned over the newly inaugurated President.  Titled “The Obama effect, The disarming charm of Barack Obama at the G20 in London,” The Economist said: “…his aura seemed to glow ever brighter as he made his first foray into global, crisis-busting diplomacy…”
“Disarming charm” indeed.  His “crisis busting diplomacy” has amounted to economic and military surrender throughout the globe despite attempts at glory here and there.  He has now the reputation as the President of “apology,” and the massive cuts that are scheduled to decimate the military amount to wholesale surrender to our enemies. The President no doubt continues economic nation-busting policies to further his agenda of surrender, wasting no “good” crisis to further that agenda.  While claiming austere policy decisions to justify the deterioration of our defenses, he leaves out that he is cutting a military that could not effectively respond to the 9/11 terrorist attacks, because the military had been radically reduced by the George Bush Sr., and Clinton administrations.  The National Guard and Reserve Units had to be “federalized” in order for our military to get to the proper strength to be able to minimally defend the nation after the 9/11 attacks.  Today the President’s planned military cuts will reduce a military that is comprised not of  ”regular” troops, but one that has been padded with National Guard and Reserve units.  Further military reductions will amount to defacto surrender, regardless of the hollow claims by the man who helped the Clintonistas rip apart our defenses, Leon Panetta, now the proverbial “wolf in sheep’s clothing,” as the Secretary of Defense.
And having surrendered our nation’s defenses and our economy, will our “charming” President proceed during his second term to DISARM its citizens too?  Where ARE the Vanguards of Freedom that will rise today to the defense of this nation during this crisis?  Once again the Bell tolls to gather those who through the decades enjoyed the harvest of Freedom.  Yes, you are called on to write your Congress Man or Woman, to fax, to petition, to assemble, to protest, to object, and to confront and contain the tyranny that appears today before you.
Yes, you should exercise your vote against such tyranny. And you should also invest of yourself, that which is required to ensure the survival of our nation, that we may accept the Torch of Freedom from our predecessors, Carry it Forth in our Time, and Secure the Blessings of Liberty to Ourselves, Keep Alive the Flame of Freedom, and Pass that Torch onward to our Posterity.
These are the words of Liberty. This is the Language of Freedom. Which of you will translate these words into the actions that will result in the Defense of The Constitution, its restoration to Prominence, the rejection and expulsion of the Culture of Socialist Occupiers, and Create in this nation a Renaissance of Freedom?

GOP Steps Up Pressure on Obama with Fast and Furious Investigation

By Jordy Yager – the

Top ranking Republicans are increasing pressure on the Obama administration over a botched gun tracking operation, as the White House falls under tight scrutiny in two other separate investigations.

House Judiciary Chairman Lamar Smith (R-Texas) wrote to Attorney General Eric Holder on Friday, stressing that the congressional investigation into the Fast and Furious operation would not slow down or cease because of two recent departures of high-ranking officials within the Justice Department (DOJ) and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).

“The department cannot…pin this scandal on a few individuals and expect it to be forgotten,” said Smith in his letter. “Fast and Furious was a result of systematic problems at the ATF.”

Congressional interest will continue until we fully understand who authorized the failed program and how a federal agency could allow such decision-making to occur.”

Sen. Chuck Grassley (Iowa), the ranking Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee, and Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.), the chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, also wrote to the DOJ’s acting inspector general (IG) this week, blasting the office for sending secret audio recordings of a special agent involved in the operation to the agent himself.

The lawmakers contend that the move cost them the upper hand and that it has compromised the IG’s investigation into the Fast and Furious operation, which is being conducted simultaneously to Issa’s.

“Each of these disclosures undermines our ability to assess the candor of witnesses in our investigation and thus obstructs it,” wrote Grassley and Issa.

“Moreover, your decision to immediately disclose the recordings to those you are investigating creates at least the appearance, if not more, that your inquiry is not sufficiently objective and independent.”

Soon after the letter was sent, Issa hit the airwaves, doing numerous interviews with Fox and CNN about his investigation, which is five months old.

“We will continue our investigation,” said Issa on Fox News. “We will get to the bottom of it probably more by whistleblowers that we will by the administration. And it will only be to the detriment of the administration. We’re shocked that it’s become the cover-up rather than the admission that this was indefensible long ago.”

The operation authorized the sale of thousands of weapons in the southwest region to known and suspected straw buyers for Mexican drug cartels and may have contributed to the death of a Border Patrol agent.

The mounting congressional heat comes as Issa launched a separate investigation this week into the Obama administration’s process of approving government loans to private corporations out of a concern that political or financial influence might have played a role.

Issa, who has subpoena power as chairman, commenced his latest investigation after solar panel-maker Solyndra declared bankruptcy late last month.

The Obama administration had touted the company, which received a $535 million government loan, as part of its stimulus program and green-jobs agenda.

But emails between the White House and Energy Department show administration officials pushing for quick consideration of the loans. One of Solyndra’s private investors is a major Obama campaign contributor, raising as much as $100,000 for the president’s 2008 victory. The emails depict efforts by the administration to give the donor a quicker return on his investment into the company than taxpayers.

The House Energy and Commerce Committee is also investigating the Solyndra loan.

Issa was quick to tie the two investigations together, painting a picture of a corrupt administration.

The White House and Energy Department officials deny any wrongdoing.

“The administration broke rules repeatedly,” said Issa on Fox. “They broke long precedents in Fast and Furious and Brian Terry is dead as a result. They broke the very rules that protect the taxpayers from finding themselves first or early on the hook in the case of a failed company.”

The acting director of the ATF Kenneth Melson was replaced last month in the wake of the flawed Fast and Furious operation. The U.S. Attorney for Arizona, Dennis Burke, who oversaw the legal aspects of the operation, resigned the same day.

Melson has testified before Issa’s and Grassley’s staff that he was not aware that agents involved in the operation were being authorized to let the guns “walk” unsupervised in the hands of known and suspected criminals.

Both President Obama and Holder have also said they were unaware of the program.

Issa has argued that as the head of the agency, Melson should have been aware of the operation. He has also blasted Holder for not knowing about an operation of its magnitude in his own agency, calling for him to be fired.

In his letter, Smith asked Holder to notify him if the DOJ planned to make any additional staff changes in response to the Fast and Furious operation and questioned why the immediate supervisors had not been disciplined. Smith also requested an explanation of what role officials at DOJ played in the decision-making process.

“It is simply difficult to believe that no one at main Justice was aware of the long-standing operation,” he said.

Alan Grayson’s Fake Tea Party Candidate, Victoria Torres

Posted by bydesign001
While most politicians in the state of Florida are up to their necks in Gulf oil sludge, there is not nearly enough sludge and filth for for that jerk, Alan Grayson, to roll in. Grayson hired his own puppet at the cost of $11,000 to run for office in the hopes of upsetting the election, clearing the road for him and convincing Patriots that the Tea Party supports his candidate, Victoria Torres.
Clearly a lying pig, desperate, devious, low and is what one gets with Alan Grayson. Grayson who despises the right and the tea party has no problems infiltrating, or trying to for the sake of his grimy agenda.
Enter slime ball, liar, $11,000 puppet Victoria Torres. There is just no low to how far liberals will sink.
“One of Rep. Alan Grayson’s pollsters is running for the state House in Florida as a Tea Party candidate, fueling Republican suspicions that the Democratic Congressman is using a newly formed third party to boost his own re-election bid.
On Friday, Victoria Torres, 44, of Orlando qualified to run as a Tea Party candidate in state House district 51 in the last hours of the qualifying period.
A call to Torres was returned by Nick Egoroff, communications director for the Florida Tea Party, who described Torres as a ‘quasi-paralegal assistant who works in a law office.’ But apparently, Torres is also a pollster.
According to records from the Florida Department of State office, Torres incorporated Public Opinion Strategies Inc. in December 2008. In the first quarter of this year, Grayson’s campaign made two payments to her firm, totaling $11,000, for polling and survey expenses.
‘She’s got various businesses on the side,’ explained Egoroff, who confirmed Torres’ work for Grayson. ‘It’s just a business relationship. Nothing more. Nothing less.’
Egoroff described Torres as a conservative. When asked why she would work for a liberal lawmaker, he said, ‘It’s quite common.’
The name of Torres’ company is curious, considering Alexandria, Va.-based Public Opinion Strategies is one of the largest and best-known Republican polling firms in the country. Egoroff declined to say if Torres has worked for any other clients, and her company doesn’t appear to have a website.
‘We definitely do not poll for Democrats, nor do we have an office in Orlando,’ said Glen Bolger of the Virginia-based POS. ‘However, we do wish Congressman Grayson the worst of luck in November.’
Dave Beattie, a prominent Florida-based Democratic pollster, also said he had never heard of Torres or her polling firm.
A spokesman for Grayson confirmed that Public Opinion Strategies Inc. is one of three pollsters the Congressman has employed.
