DEMOCRAT STATE GOES BALLISTIC AGAINST ILLEGALS

More than 5,000 chant ‘Impeach, impeach’ in Boston

The protests against illegal immigration flared up in an unusual place this weekend when more than 5,000 people rallied in Boston, Massachusetts, an area that has historically voted for Democrats.

Organizers hope the surprisingly large turnout will set the stage for a new wave of protests planned for Saturday in Tennessee and two other states.

It was not only the size of the Boston crowd and its enthusiasm for the issue but it’s location in a “blue state” that has organizers of this Saturday’s protests excited.

“I think it’s a sign of the times, a symptom of the problem we’ve got going on here. I think it shows this illegal immigration issue goes beyond party politics,” said James Neighbors, founder of Overpasses for America and one of the groups organizing the protests.

“This has nothing to do with party politics whatsoever,” he said. “This is about the future of America for all Americans regardless of whether liberal or conservative, libertarian, whatever. This is about America, and we’re going to be undermined by our own federal government if we don’t stop it.”

Neighbors said the crowd in Boston reflected a national mood of having lost patience with Washington establishment politicians.

“These people that showed up in Boston, I think like a lot of Americans they’re getting near their breaking point where they’re going to say ‘we’ve had enough,’ and when Americans reach that point we tend to do it in not a very pretty manner,” he said. “It was fantastic. I was shocked to see that many people gathered, you just don’t see that, and they are very, very rightly upset.”

Neighbors said he will be in Memphis Saturday to lead a protest.

One of the issues fueling anger in many states is that the federal government is concealing from governors the locations where illegals are being transported, possibly in an effort to head off protests. Republican governors from Nebraska to South Carolina have complained about being kept in the dark by the feds.

At the Boston protest, historian and radio talk-show host Jeff Kuhner stood on a platform across from the state House atop Beacon Hill and gave a fiery speech in which he lambasted President Obama’s threats to use executive action to grant amnesty to illegal aliens.

“He now plans to bring in 5 million,” Kuhner said, as a woman could be heard yelling “he needs to go to jail” and another shouted “arrest him!”

Kuhner then started ticking off the names of cities in Massachusetts that will “go broke” if they are forced to absorb more illegal aliens.

“As Shakespeare would put it, it is the national question, ‘Shall we be, or not be?’ Shall we exist as a nation, jealous of its sovereignty, faithful to its laws and its Constitution, protecting of its citizens?” Kuhner asked the crowd. “Or, are we going to be transformed, into a socialist Third World banana republic. Because what (Obama) wants to do, what he is in the process of doing, if we don’t stop him now, is turn Massachusetts into Mexichusetts. And my answer to him is loud and clear: No mas, no more!” The crowd responded, breaking into a chant of “No mas, no more!”

Kuhner said the “elites, the ruling class that has run this country now dangerously into the ground, that is now badly disconnected they are from the overwhelming majority of the American people, us, the silent majority, the peasants, the workers, who get up every day, work, pay our taxes, fight in our wars and defend this country.”

“We’re getting hammered and we’re not gonna take it anymore,” Kuhner continued. “The American people, I believe, have now finally risen.”

The crowd was fully engaged, yelling out comments and joining in chants like they were at a religious revival or a rivalry European soccer match.

“I never thought I’d see anything like that in my lifetime,” said William Gheen, president of Americans for Legal Immigration PAC. “What happened with Boston took us by surprise. To see that picture of thousands of people in a liberal hotbed gathered against illegal immigration. … That was a beautiful sight.”

Now, ALIPAC, Overpasses for America and a coalition of 50 groups hopes to duplicate that sight in Tennessee this weekend.

Tennessee is the next big battleground in which an upcoming primary, Aug. 7, pits a pro-amnesty incumbent, Lamar Alexander, R-Tenn., against a tea-party challenger, Joe Carr.

Gheen said the Boston rally was the largest protest specifically targeting illegal immigration in modern U.S. history, possibly the largest of all time. One of the reasons it was so successful is because it had a bully pulpit leader in Kuhner. He is a former history professor specializing in 20th century U.S. history and president of the Edmund Burke Institute for American Renewal, a Washington, D.C., think tank devoted to integrating minorities into the conservative movement.

Gheen said Kuhner did something no one’s ever done before.

“As long as I’ve done this, the largest protest specifically against illegal immigration was in Washington, D.C., in the spring of 2007, with a little over 1,000 people at the ‘Hold Their Feet to the Fire’ rally. So this was the largest protest against illegal immigration in modern history, perhaps ever, in America.”

That will be hard to duplicate in Tennessee, Washington and Michigan this Saturday, but that’s what Gheen says needs to happen if the movement is to sustain the momentum provided by Boston.

Gheen said he will be personally leading a protest in Tennessee, as will Neighbors. They want to see Alexander, who voted for amnesty bill S. 744, out.

“He is the last Eric Cantor-type battle of 2014 in which we have a chance to remove a pro-amnesty incumbent and replace him with someone who is not,” Gheen said. “Lamar actually voted for Amnesty Bill 744, and groups like ALIPAC and NumbersUSA have been fighting tooth and nail to stop that bill from reaching Obama’s desk, and we barely have stopped it.”

Gheen said it will take a national movement to elect Carr, because Alexander not only has the advantage of incumbency, he has outspent his opponent 10 to one and has a vote splitter on the ballot – one of Alexander’s donors, who is polling 6 percent.

“These underhanded techniques can be overcome, but it will take a national movement to overcome them,” Gheen said.

Chants in Boston of “Send them home!” and “Impeach, impeach, impeach!” were music to the ears of opponents of illegal immigration who have battled for years without seeing a groundswell of grassroots opposition.

“We could have too few people in Tennessee. The bar’s been raised by Boston,” Gheen said. “We haven’t connected the voltage yet, we’re asking people to target these protests, to descend on Tennessee. We’re not just going to overpasses this Saturday, they’re going to be in front of congressional offices in Tennessee, Washington and Michigan. If we flop in Tennessee in five days, it may break our chances for a historic win in November. This is a teetering moment and we either overcome this or we fail this time, and we’ll continue to have this conversation and the message will be, ‘I’m sorry it’s too late.’”

Gheen said he will lead a protest Saturday in Blountville, Tennessee, just north of Johnson City.

“Everyone needs to understand how important Boston was, and it ended up being the high-water mark of the more than 300 that took place on July 18 and 19. And the real reason the liberal bashers are flipping out is this happened in a liberal bastion of Boston,” he said. “We have a real chance here for a growing movement.”

Judge Napolitano: Impeachment the only way to stop Obama’s executive actions

by Joe NewbyImpeach
While speaking with Fox News’ Neil Cavuto, Judge Andrew Napolitano said impeachment is the only way to stop President Obama from ruling by executive fiat, Newsmax reported Thursday.

“The president is doing the opposite of what he was elected to do,” he said. “At some point he is totally frustrating what Congress has written.”

He also told Cavuto that when Obama takes unilateral action, picking and choosing what laws — or portions of laws — to enforce, he is actually telling people how to avoid the law.

The president has unilaterally delayed portions of Obamacare without going through Congress, and he has taken other executive actions on issues like the minimum wage, gun control and immigration.

Although some Republicans have threatened impeachment, Napolitano said that as a whole, neither Congress nor the American people have the guts to see it through. Another problem is the current makeup of the Senate. Even if Obama were impeached by the House, a Senate controlled by Democrats would never vote to convict or remove him from office.

Napolitano had an explanation for that as well.

“There’s sort or a cult around him in the Democratic Party that he’s ‘our guy’ and he can do whatever he wants,” the former New Jersey Superior Court judge said.

Talk show host Rush Limbaugh also weighed in on the issue, telling his audience Wednesday the “lawlessness” of the Obama administration “knows no bounds.”

“There’s nothing stopping this man from doing anything,” Limbaugh said. “If he wants to raise marginal tax rates, he can just do it. Nobody’s gonna stop him.”

“Here is the latest,” Limbaugh added. “As you know, the Regime recently delayed the implementation of the employer mandate for three years, until 2016. This means that employers who have a hundred or less employees will be subject to the mandate.”

But the change ordered by the president includes a clause specifically designed to prevent employers from firing people because of Obamacare, essentially turning staffing decisions into potential crimes.

“So what the Obama Regime has done, is said firms and businesses are going to be required to certify to the IRS — under penalty of perjury — that Obamacare was not a motivating factor in their staffing decisions,” Limbaugh said.

“I mean, this is absolutely lawless. It is against the law,” Limbaugh added.

Recently, Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., sued the Obama administration over NSA surveillance of telephone calls, but Napolitano said that a lawsuit over the president’s executive actions could be tossed out of court, explaining that a judge would tell a member of Congress to initiate impeachment proceedings.

But, he added, that won’t happen.

Moreover, there’s no guarantee Obama would obey any order handed down in court.

As we reported in February 2011, the Obama administration was found in contempt of court for refusing to obey a judge’s order lifting a drilling moratorium in the Gulf of Mexico after the BP oil spill.

Why Should the House Impeach President Obama?

Article 2, Section 1 of the Constitution requires that before presidents can assume their duties they must take the oath of office.   Every president from George Washington to Barack Obama has placed their hand on a Bible and sworn,” I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”

In America today just like in Lake Woebegone every child is above average and every child gets a trophy.  We may score low in international grade comparisons but we rank number one in self-esteem.  In other words American students may not be doing well but they think they are.  Those of us old enough to remember how Dad could control the situation with a look and when you got in trouble in school your parents didn’t sue or contact the School Board you got in trouble at home too are also old enough to remember Watergate.

This scandal that the general public still does not understand brought down a president and led to the Watergate Congress which threw away the victory in Vietnam and solidified the Progressive control of Congress until 1994.  Today we are confronted with contempt for the Constitution and the rule of law that makes the Watergate Scandal look like the tempest in a teapot that it actually was.  How many people died as a result of the Watergate Scandal = 0.  How many have died as a result of the Fast and Furious debacle = at least 200 and still counting including an American law enforcement officer.  How did Richard Nixon disrespect, disregard or violate the Constitution in the Watergate Scandal = 0 (although his use of Executive privilege did spark a constitutional crisis).  How many times has Barack Obama disrespected, disregarded or violated the Constitution during his time in office = at least three times as documented below by making recess appointments while Congress was still in session, by changing laws through executive orders without recourse to Congress and by refusing to enforce laws.

There is an old saying, “That’s good enough for government work.”  This saying comes out of the big government make-work programs of the 1930s and has been used ever since as short hand for “Approximate is close enough,” which might as well be the new national motto.  In societies that rob Peter to pay Paul the stage before all the Peters change their names to Paul is typified by government bean counters picking winners and losers.  This process discourages producers and encourages non-producers assuring you get less of the former and more of the latter.  As an educator I have a belief that if you don’t teach someone to do something right you teach them to do it wrong.

If Congress does not assert its place as a co-equal branch of government, the Imperial Presidency of Barack Obama will continue to usurp power.  From recess appointments while Congress is in session to unilaterally changing laws to refusing to enforce the laws of the land this President is fundamentally transforming our system of government.  Not through the amendment process, but through a campaign of unconstitutional and therefore illegal actions designed to advance the Progressive agenda and to influence the next election.  Whether it is through the money laundering schemes that are government negotiations with public service unions, pork barrel payoffs to political donors, or back-door amnesty this is nothing more than a time-honored Chicago tradition buying votes.  Combine this with a campaign to resist any attempt to verify who is voting and the stage is set for an emerging social re-make and elections that would make any managed society proud.

His supporters may call it the Audacity of Hope Campaign, but if it is successful it will be the audacity which crushes any hope of limited government, personal liberty, and economic freedom.  The dreams from his father will become the nightmares of our children and grandchildren.  With no authority Mr. Obama is attempting to rule by decree.  Executive orders have previously been used to direct the Executive Departments how to implement laws.  Mr. Obama is using them to legislate, and that is in direct contravention to the separation of powers clearly outlined in the Constitution and are meant  by his own admission to circumvent Congress.

President Obama has built a shadow government that parallels and is standing ready to supplant our constitutional government.  Barely tipping his hat to the official Cabinet he has appointed more Czars than most of his predecessors and these Czars are not just advisers they are actually tasked with duties that under our traditional American governmental structure have been the responsibility of Cabinet Secretaries.  These Czars are not confirmed; they are appointed, and none of them are accountable to anyone except the President.  Even though Congress voted to defund his Czars, President Obama has said he will ignore that part of the Budget and keep them anyway.  A cult of personality surrounds him typified by a compliant media which fawns over his every action and defends his every transgression.

As if to add icing to the cake the Obama Administration has invoked Executive Privilege to support Attorney General Holder in his refusal to surrender all requested documents in the Fast and Furious Scandal.  What national security issues could there be in this matter?  If the documents proved that the operation really did start under the Bush administration as Mr. Holder contends does anyone doubt they would have been on the table yesterday?  Either the President is attempting to protect his Attorney General, some member of the White House staff or himself.  Either way this may eventually provide a real similarity to the Watergate Scandal.  Though in this case the cover-up could not be worse than the crime it could lead to enough fallout to make his own supporters leave a sinking ship to avoid the stigma of a failed presidency and a looming constitutional crisis.

In the Benghazi Scandal the memories of 4 dead Americans including our Ambassador the Obama administration first attempted to blame a video.  This video wasn’t translated into Arabic until after the attacks that it supposedly inspired.  There was mounting violence against Western Diplomats and Western interests in Benghazi before this that was ignored.   Then during his recent re-election campaign President Obama re-invented the truth when he said that he labeled it a terrorist action from day one. Yet in Congressional investigations the stonewalling continues to protect the White House and the State department from accepting the blame for what was clearly a massive security collapse.  To this day the only one jailed for this deadly failure has been the producer of the erroneously blamed video.  Then again as Secretary of State Clinton quipped, “What difference, at this point, does it make?”

In perhaps the most telling evidence for impeachment so far the Speaker of the House has declared that it is meaningless to pass legislation when based upon President Obama’s past practices there is no guarantee that the President will enforce the law.  This is a stunning admission.  The President is sworn to uphold the Constitution.  In the Constitution as the chief executive the President is supposed to enforce and execute the laws.  Having reached the point where the Speaker of the House can no longer trust that the President will enforce laws we have reached the place where this is no longer a nation of laws it is a nation of men.  This is the opposite of what our Founders said that America should be.

Then there is the Affordable Care Act or Obamacare as it is popularly known.  The President seems to believe he can rewrite this law in any way and at any time he chooses without regard to the fact that it was passed by Congress and signed into law.  One conservative pundit compares President Obama’s serial re-writes of this law without the benefit of legislation as the actions of a banana republic.  While a progressive pundit says that even though he was a supporter of the law these many changes and the blatant polarization of the law by delaying so many of its negative impacts until after the next election make it nearly impossible to defend.

The assaults upon the rule of law come on a daily basis.  As if he is almost trying to add fuel to the flames or to rub his actions in everyone’s face President Obama said to French President Hollande as they strolled through the grounds of Jefferson’s Monticello “That’s the good thing as a President, I can do whatever I want”

If this slide into tyranny is not stopped it will continue. If it is not protested it will be accepted.  I know there are not enough Senators to convict.  As shown in the Clinton impeachment trial the Democrats vote as a block and the Progressive Republicans join with them ensuring there would be no conviction no matter what the charge.  If these blatant attacks upon the checks and balances are not punished, at least by the shame and reproach of an Impeachment Resolution, they are being silently condoned.  Speaker Boehner stand up and lead the House!  Don’t just make a speech; present a case.  Don’t just give us a photo op; give us a fighting chance to save this great experiment in human freedom.

If you don’t stand for something you will fall for anything.  America it is time to stand up to this Southside Chicago bully.  We need to let him know he can’t have our lunch money anymore, and he can’t subvert our Republic either at least not without us protesting and using every legal means available to stop him and preserve limited government.

We, the lovers of freedom and the supporters of limited government cannot merely wait the clock out on the Obama presidency.  After winning a second term on a campaign based upon class warfare and the redistribution of wealth he and his statist backers act as if they have won a mandate for more of these unconstitutional power-grabs.  An oligarchy of the perpetually re-elected veneered over a permanent nomenclature of federal bureaucrats easily falls in line behind a complacent and complicit media to cheer the new order as the soft tyranny of the central planners tell us what is best for us and then forces us to say thank you.

Protest the lawless Progressive counter-revolution!  Contact you Representative and demand an impeachment hearing to investigate President Obama for the High Crimes of subverting the Constitution.  He should be investigated for:

Act today!  Contact your Representative and let them know patriotic Americans want this tyranny ended and limited government restored.

Keep the faith.  Keep the peace.  We shall overcome.

Fox News Asks – Why Not Impeach Obama?

by Onan Coca
Mitch McConnell is not high on the list of people that conservatives love. Now, to be sure, he’s nowhere near the RINO status that John McCain or Lindsey Graham possess…but there has been enough dithering from the McConnell -led Senate to turn Tea Party stomachs on more than one occasion. Recently, the Senate Minority Leader went on Fox News to be interviewed by Megyn Kelly and air some of the complaints Republicans have for President Obama.

The chief one was his abusive use of the Executive Order and Recess Appointments as a form of governing. Currently, the Supreme Court is deciding about the Constitutionality of his actions, and for most Republicans (and Democrats of 6 or 7 years ago), the President has overstepped his Constitutional bounds.
After a short discussion about the case before the Court, Kelly asks the most important question. “If the President is overreaching so often – why not impeach him?”

weakFor any active conservative, you know that this is the question that people have been asking for years. In every town hall I’ve been at, someone has asked it. In almost every Q&A I’ve had the chance to be a part of with local community groups, people have asked it. I even get emails several times a week asking when someone, anyone, in Congress will have the guts to begin impeachment proceedings?

The short answer?

Never.

It’s not going to happen. Republicans are scared that an impeachment would actually help the President. They wouldn’t actually be able to get a conviction because the Democrats control the Senate, and so they worry that the entire exercise would look political and hurt their chances in the next couple of elections.

For now, we’ll have to take our victories in other places. We must keep working to undercut the liberal Democrat policies everywhere we see them. Keep talking about how horrendous Obamacare is. Keep posting on social media how bad the economy actually is. Liberal policies are killing us. However, if you look around the world – nation’s with conservative economic policies are excelling. Countries like Poland, Latvia and Estonia are using the free market to drive economic progress and even socialist countries like Sweden and Denmark have moved in a more conservative direction.

Our ideas work. We have the proof. Let’s use it.

Give Them an Inch

Let’s see the government had three years and the entire resources of the federal government and they can’t build a website that works.  Now we have a website that won’t let you leave, is open to hackers, presents people with insurance they can’t afford and we are going to fine, excuse me, tax anyone without insurance who doesn’t use it.  These people are making the DMV look efficient.

Many of their own supporters and allies tried to warn them the website was not ready.  The administration which estimated the cost spent to be 93 million for development of the website and ended up paying $634,320,919, which is more than it cost to develop Facebook, Twitter, or Linkedin, released it knowing it wasn’t ready.  Those who have ventured to apply or to investigate report that on average 1 in 10 are able to navigate through the maze to the find the cheese of higher rates.

Maybe that’s because a website tasked with servicing millions was designed to accommodate 50,000?  Maybe it’s because it appears as if no one bothered to test it before launch?  Maybe it’s because instead of using the most up-to-date technology and the latest computer code the government bought some extremely high priced outdated, costly and buggy technology?

Or perhaps it all merely proves the truth of what Ronald Reagan told us many years ago, “The nine most terrifying words in the English language are: I’m from the government and I’m here to help.”

The Democrats and their media allies tell us daily that Obamacare is the law of the land and we have no choice but to fund it, obey it, and carry it on our backs till the end of time.  They say that Congress passed it, the president signed it, the last election ratified it, the Supreme Court upheld it, and that is that.

Congress did pass it without one Republican vote.  This is the first and only entitlement that was passed without even a fig leaf of bipartisan support.

Of course the president signed this Holy Grail the Progressives have been seeking for more than a century, because they know that taking control of the healthcare system, 1/6 of the economy, and taking control of everyone’s health will give them easy access to total control.  Or as Lenin said, “Socialized Medicine is the Keystone to the Arch of the Socialist State.”

The last election did return President Obama to the White House for a second term; however, it also returned a Republican majority to the House of Representatives.  The Constitution designed the House as the branch of government closest to the people, and this House is listening to the people.

And yes, the Supreme Court did uphold it.  How?  By calling what the Congress that passed the bill adamantly said was not a tax is a tax.  This was an example of philosophical gymnastics that found the argument originally used to pass the bill unconstitutional but found the law constitutional as long as it is what they told us it wasn’t.

All of which brings us to the question, “How can Obamacare be settled law when the president can change it anytime in any way he wants?”  There was no provision in the law as passed for all the waivers and exceptions our imperial president makes with the wave of his pen.  If it is settled law, how and why can the president change it without Congressional approval?

Is it now illegal or immoral to work to change “settled” law?  Does this mean that it is wrong for people who believe abortion is murder to work to change the law.  Oh wait a moment the law still says abortion is murder it is only a Supreme Court ruling that holds the laws of the states in check.  Does this mean it is now wrong to protest the never ending wars that are impoverishing our nation without contributing to our security?

The First Amendment to the Constitution guarantees the right of the people to peaceably assemble and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.  Article 1, Section 7 of the Constitution says, “All Bills for raising Revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives.”  The vote to withhold funding for an unpopular law is not only proper and not only voicing the will of the people, but it is also constitutional.

How can it be constitutional for a president to change a law whenever he wants to do so?  Should we just add this to the list of unconstitutional acts the present administration has perpetrated since gaining power?  How long can a nation stand idly by while a rogue administration grabs power and control?  How long will a timid and overawed opposition refrain from raising the cry, “Impeachment!” when faced with the illegal actions of a naked Progressive coup?

Just because something is legal does not mean it is right.  Hitler gained power legally.  He assumed totalitarian power legally.  He built concentration camps legally.  He waged war and killed millions legally.  So did Stalin. Just because something is legal does not mean it is right.  How long America?  How long?  Have we been giving these Progressive camels inches for so long we don’t even notice they have already taken the whole mile?

IMPEACHMENT GROUP CRASHING 9/11 MUSLIM MARCH

impeach_overpassThe rapidly expanding grassroots effort to impeach President Obama is now turning its sights on the Million Muslim March planned for Sept. 11.

Although now, the march has undergone a public-relations makeover and the organizers, the American Muslim Political Action Committee (AMPAC), have changed its name to “Million American March Against Fear.”

Fear of what?

AMPAC claims,” Many non-Muslim Americans are terrified of Muslims, who are portrayed by Hollywood and the U.S. media as fanatical terrorists. Muslims, too, live in fear – of being dragged off in the night to Guantanamo and tortured, simply for the crime of being Muslim in the wrong place at the wrong time.”

What bothers James Neighbors, the founder of Overpasses for Obama’s Impeachment, is AMPAC is choosing to make its statement on the very day fanatical Muslim terrorists did indeed kill some 3,000 Americans, on Sept. 11, twelve years ago.

“They could’ve picked any other day of the year. There’s 364 other days of the year they could’ve picked, but the fact they chose 9/11 just simply apppears to be a slap in the face to America and an insult to every American who died in attacks on those days (in 2001 and 2012.)”

“We simply could not tolerate 9/11 being hijacked like that. It seems like a lot of people like to hijack things in this country, like Obama tries to hijack the word patriot for his progressives,” he added.

Overpasses had begun to organize it’s own march on Washington on Sept. 9, dedicated to bring attention to its primary mission, removing President Obama from office.

But founder James Neighbors changed plans and called for a nationwide protest in the streets and on overpasses on Sept. 11. specifically to oppose the Muslim march, after he learned of it.

They won’t be the only protesters, as WND reported a Facebook page has been created dedicated to bringing “2 Million Bikers to DC” to counter the Muslim march.
What Overpass protesters do is simple but effective. They merely gather on highway overpasses and wave signs calling for the impeachment of Obama or urging drivers to “honk to impeach.

WND first reported on the booming movement in July, and now the group claims it has mushroomed to 40,000 members across America to become “the largest grassroots movement in the nation” in the few weeks since it was launched in June.

The group’s national website has links to Facebook pages of groups in all 50 states, plus Washington, D.C.

WND asked Neighbors if he was concerned critics may try to brand his group as bigoted for opposing a Muslim march.

He said the group’s message has never been about race or religion and members avoid any inflammatory statements.

“We’ve had people who’ve wanted to carry signs saying things like ‘Obama is the anti-Christ’ and, well, that’s just not an impeachable offense.”

Visit WND’s online Impeachment Store to see all the products related to ousting Obama.

Neighbors says the main thing is just to stick to the issues because, “It doesn’t matter what race Barack Obama happens to be. What matters is if he’s performed criminal behavior and the precedent he has set for the future.”

He also notes, “As a movement we have no particluar issue with Islam, but the fact of the matter is 9/11 is the day, across America, people remember planes smashing into the World Trade Center, a planes smashing into the Pentagon, and men and women willing to give their lives in another plane, whose last words were ‘Let’s Roll’ before crashing into a field in Pennsylvania.”

Neighbors says, because the hijackers of those planes happened to be Muslim, it’s left a bad impression around the nation that Muslims chose this particular day for their march.

He says the fact four Americans were killed by Muslim terorists in attack on the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya on Sept. 11 last year makes it even worse.

“I just think their complete lack of tact to have a protest on 9/11 needs to be countered by partiotic Americans that remember that’s a day of remembrance and sorrow and it shouldn’t be tainted.”

WND asked Neighbors, since Overpasses is combining issues on Sept. 11, what is the message he wants America to hear?

“We are combining them, but the impeachment message will be a bit muted on that day,” Neighbors replied.

“The people who died in Benghazi, U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens, Glen Doherty, Ty Woods and Sean never really had a proper day of memorial,” said Neighbors, blaming all the news that followed, and all the “distractions created by Obama right after the event,” including the (since discredited) claim the attack was caused by a video insulting Islam.

Neighbors noted the nation has never really stopped to remember the four people who died in Benghazi, partially because “the entire incident has been buried under a mountain of scandals.”

“It’s one year late, but it is the one-year anniversary. Those four deserve a day where they’re respected and remebered, when people can cheer them as patriots and cry for their loss. That hasn’t happened yet and that’s what the whole point of our protest.”

Neighbors says, even if people don’t go out to a highway or an overpass to protest on Sept. 11, they can still participate in a significant way.

“If they happen to be up at midnight on that day, I just ask them to step out on the porc with a candle and say a little prayer for those lost in Benghazi. They haven’t been on everyone’s mind here in America and its a tragedy that hasn’t happened and our president has allowed that. And we need to do that. I would just ask everybody is they are not with us on that day, if they would do this on their own.”

Blacks File Articles of Impeachment Against President Obama

Impeach
I’ve written for a couple years that Barack Hussein Obama is guilty of high treason according to the US Constitution and that he needs to be impeached. Once impeached, he needs to be removed from office and imprisoned for the rest of his life without any of the retirement benefits that retiring presidents receive. Obama and his fellow liberal

Democrats consider me to be a right wing conservative, radical and to be honest, I don’t mind the description at all. But be prepared for a black organization to be referred to as Uncle Toms and other racially derogatory terms. Why? Because they have seen the true Barack Obama and what he has done since taking office in January 2009. The National Black Republicans Association, headquartered in Sarasota, Florida have done exactly what I’ve been advocating someone in Congress do. They have filed articles of impeachment against Obama. They list a number of high crimes and misdemeanors that he has committed. Their document reads: “We, black American citizens, in order to free ourselves and our fellow citizens from governmental tyranny, do herewith submit these Articles of Impeachment to Congress for the removal of President Barack H. Obama, aka, Barry Soetoro, from office for his attack on liberty and commission of egregious acts of despotism that constitute high crimes and misdemeanors.” They specify the impeachment power and articles of impeachment, followed by the list of crimes. Under each article, they give the details supporting their accusations.

Included in their articles of impeachment are:
“ARTICLE 1 He has covered up, delayed, impeded and obstructed the investigation of the Benghazi Battle….

ARTICLE 2 He has disclosed secret grand jury material by exposing the existence of a sealed indictment of one of the Benghazi attackers in violation of Rule 6(e) of the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure that clearly states: “… no person may disclose the indictment’s existence except as necessary to issue or execute a warrant or summons.’’

ARTICLE 3 He has authorized and permitted the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, a division of the Justice Department, to conduct Operation Fast and Furious, wherein guns were sold to Mexican drug trafficking organizations that were used to kill innocent Mexican civilians and two rifles sold to a smuggler in January 2010 ended up at the scene of the murder of U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry in December 2010.

ARTICLE 4 He has authorized and permitted confidential income tax returns information from the Internal Revenue Service to be provided to unauthorized individuals, organizations and agencies.

ARTICLE 5 He has caused investigations and audits to be initiated or conducted by the Internal Revenue Service in a discriminatory manner, including harassment and intimidation of conservative, evangelical and Tea Party groups applying for non-profit status between 2010 and 2012….

ARTICLE 6 He has (1) authorized and permitted the National Security Agency to conduct or continue electronic surveillance of over 300 million average Americans; (2) given access to National Security Agency surveillance data to other intelligence units within the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Secret Service, the Department of Defense and the Department of Homeland Security in violation of the law; and (3) conducted the surveillance of average Americans unconstrained by Congress, the United States Supreme Court or the US Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court which has, to this date, functioned as a rubber stamp, having approved every request made of it in 2012 and rejecting only two of the 8,591 requests submitted between 2008 and 2012.

ARTICLE 7 He has authorized and permitted the Department of Justice to wiretap and secretly obtain two months of telephone and e-mail records of Fox News Reporter James Rosen and over one hundred Associated Press journalists.

ARTICLE 8 He has thwarted Congress by (1) failing to enforce all or parts of laws duly enacted by Congress, including the Defense of Marriage Act, the No Child Left Behind Act, and the Affordable Care Act; and (2) after Congress refused to pass his Dream Act, unilaterally issuing an executive order directing immigration officers to no longer deport an entire class of illegal immigrants who came here as children, regardless of individual circumstances, and to give them work-authorization permits.

ARTICLE 9 He has violated the Constitution when, on January 4, 2012, (1) he bypassed the U. S. Senate to appoint three members of the National Labor Relations Board, actions that were ruled unconstitutional by the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit which affirmed previous decisions by the Court of Appeal for the D.C. Circuit and the Third Circuit; and (2) he bypassed the U. S. Senate to appoint Richard Cordray to head the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

ARTICLE 10 He has intimidated whistleblowers and brought twice as many prosecutions against whistleblowers as all prior presidents combined. Egregiously, while refusing to prosecute anyone for actual torture, he prosecuted former Central Intelligence Agency employee John Kiriakou for disclosing the torture program. Wherefore Barack H. Obama, aka Barry Soetoro, by such conduct, warrants impeachment and trial, and removal from office. Contact: Frances Rice, Chairman National Black Republican Association 4594 Chase Oaks Drive, Sarasota, FL 34241”

To their list of charges, I would add the charge of treason in aiding and abetting our enemy. Obama bypassed Congress to free up hundreds of millions of dollars to the Egyptian government run by the Muslim Brotherhood. He also provided them with weapons and fighter jets. A live camera feed from a meeting of the Egyptian counsel clearly recorded them as saying that the United States was an enemy just like Israel and needed to be destroyed. Since they consider us an enemy and Obama continued to provide them with money and arms, that constitutes treason according to Article 3, Section 3 of the Constitution which reads: “Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort.” An additional charge that should be included would be his refusal to comply with the US Constitution and election laws by refusing to provide proper and authentic proof of meeting all of the requirements necessary to hold the office of President of the United States. In my opinion, this is the most egregious crime of all because if Obama is truly not eligible to hold the office, then he has illegally acted at president and none of these other crimes should have taken place.

He would be an imposter and fraud to the highest degree. The ironic part of this is that the articles of impeachment are being filed by blacks. Obama’s mousy little puppet Eric Holder can’t holler racism like he usually does against any non-black that criticizes Obama. Instead, it wouldn’t surprise me to see him use terms like Uncle Toms and other derogatory terms. What I call them are honest Americans trying to stop the gross injustices committed by a man who should never have been allowed in the White House to begin with.

It begins: Major demand to impeach Obama

Petition asks Congress to investigate, prosecute offenses

Watergate investigator Bob Woodward of the Washington Post compares Barack Obama to Richard Nixon. Members of Congress say it’s about time to consider it. Rock legend Ted Nugent says Obama’s constitutional violations make him eligible. And even Code Pink co-founder Medea Benjamin has called for Obama’s impeachment.

Now you can join a petition that calls on Congress to immediately investigate the “unconstitutional and impeachable offenses” of Obama.

The document is addressed to members of Congress, who have the responsibility to make sure government officials don’t go outside the bounds of the U.S. Constitution and to bring appropriate retribution when they do.

The petition cites a number of scandals in just the last few weeks and months.

Among them are the “lethal and prolonged terrorist attack in Benghazi, Libya, and the subsequent ‘Watergate-era cover-up.’” And then there’s the big – and getting bigger – scandal involving the federal government’s use of the Internal Revenue Service to harass and attack “conservative groups.”

There’s also the spying and harassment of journalists and the Associated Press.

“Top constitutional attorneys from across the political spectrum now agree that Obama has committed certain specific offenses that unquestionably rise to the level of impeachable ‘high crimes and misdemeanors,” the petition explains.

Sign the petition right away!

And that’s even before the issue of “Obama’s policy of targeted assassinations of U.S. citizens without any constitutionally required due process – including the drone assassination of an American-born 16-year-old as he was eating dinner.”

Oh, and let’s not forget the “disastrous ‘Fast and Furious’ operation in which approximately 2,000 firearms were directed from U.S. gun shops across the U.S.-Mexico border and into the hands of members of Mexican drug cartels.”

And Obama’s decision to refuse to obey his oath of office and defend the Defense of Marriage Act.

That’s all in addition to the alleged illegal “recess” appointments of several officials as well as the Obama Justice Department’s refusal to prosecute voter intimidation, his appointment of 30 “czars” and just general contempt for Congress and the American people.

The petition states: “Therefore, we the undersigned urge Congress to immediately undertake a full and impartial investigation into the many blatantly unconstitutional actions of Barack Obama. For members of Congress, each of whom has also sworn a solemn oath to uphold the Constitution, to allow a president to routinely flout the Supreme Law of the land without being held accountable is equally repugnant to a free country and a free press.”

Tens of thousands already are on board with the effort, which is just the latest in a long string of calls for impeachment or an investigation.

It has been brought up by several WND columnists in just the past few days.

Nat Hentoff wrote that Obama, “since taking office, has continually limited the First Amendment, the most singular and powerful right that distinctly identifies Americans from residents in all other countries on Earth.”

Columnist Bert Prelutsky took it further.

“I want Obama to go through the process because he has it coming. In totalitarian states, after all, the people have no other recourse except to take to the streets and spill blood. But we have available the process of impeachment, and Obama should be forced to defend his contemptible lies and actions,” he wrote. “If for no other reason than his unbearable arrogance, the schmuck should have to pay a penalty. For instance, when a White House reporter asked him to justify spying on the Associated Press, Obama said, ‘I’ve still got 60,000-plus troops in Afghanistan and I still have a bunch of intelligence officers around the world.’ No, sir, the United States has 60,000-plus troops in Afghanistan and a bunch of intelligence officers around the world.”

A panel of top constitutional experts convened by WND blasted Obama’s actions in office. Bruce Fein, the legal scholar who is best known for having drafted articles of impeachment against former President Bill Clinton for perjury after he lied under oath, said Obama’s orders to drone-kill a terror suspect were “tantamount to murder.”

“You can’t have democracy and the rule of law if you never get to know what the facts are and you just have to accept what the government says they are. If you don’t have a trial, that’s the definition of tyranny.”

Louis Fisher, a scholar in residence at the Constitution Project, said of Obama’s appointment of “czars”: “That is a big deal. A lot of people say, ‘Well, that’s been going on a long time.’ In our form of government, citizens vote for representatives and representatives pass laws. You have people heading departments, and they’re confirmed. There’s an understanding that we will call you up whenever we need to. … Congress passed legislation saying there’d be no funds for three czars, and they were named in the bill. Obama signed it into the law, but in the signing statement, he said that’s unconstitutional because he has the ‘prerogative’ to get the advice he needs to implement statutes. Well, c’mon Obama. You don’t have a prerogative to bring into the White House anybody you want at any salary. It’s all done by law. It goes back to 1978 where Congress passed legislation saying you have this number of people and these are their salaries and Congress can increase or decrease that at any time.”

And Herbert Titus, counsel to the law firm William J. Olson who previously taught constitutional law, common law and other subjects for 30 years at five different American Bar Association-approved law schools, said Obama’s military actions in Libya are a strong argument for impeachment.

“That’s the one that stands out. It’s unprecedented. It doesn’t even fit within any of the precedents that have been set since Korea.”

Obama should have seen such a move coming. A recent poll said half of Americans say he should be impeached.

“It may be early in the process for members of Congress to start planning for impeachment of Barack Obama, but the American public is building a serious appetite for it,” said Fritz Wenzel of Wenzel Strategies, which did the telephone poll. It has a margin of error of 4.36 percent.

Half or nearly half of those surveyed said they believed Obama should be impeached for the trifecta of scandals now consuming Washington.

On the issue of the Benghazi scandal, in which four Americans were killed after terror threats were ignored, 50.1 percent of Americans said Obama should be impeached. That included 27.6 percent of the responding Democrats.

All of America is buzzing about impeaching Obama. Now you can order Aaron Klein’s latest blockbuster, “Impeachable Offenses: The Case for removing Barack Obama from Office.”

On the IRS harassment of conservative and Christian organizations? Forty-nine percent said they agree that impeachment is appropriate, including 24.4 percent of the Democrats.

And on the fishing trip the Obama administration took into AP reporters’ telephone records in search of a security breach that may have been done by his own administration, 48.6 percent said impeachment is appropriate. That included 26.1 percent of the Democrats.

Former Reagan speechwriter Peggy Noonan wrote that the country is in the midst of the worst Washington scandal since Watergate.

“The reputation of the Obama White House has, among conservatives, gone from sketchy to sinister, and, among liberals, from unsatisfying to dangerous<” she said. “No one likes what they’re seeing. The Justice Department assault on the Associated Press and the ugly politicization of the Internal Revenue Service have left the administration’s credibility deeply, probably irretrievably damaged. They don’t look jerky now, they look dirty. The patina of high-mindedness the president enjoyed is gone. Noonan said the Obama, “as usual, acts as if all of this is totally unconnected to him.” “He’s shocked, it’s unacceptable, he’ll get to the bottom of it. He read about it in the papers, just like you. But he is not unconnected, he is not a bystander. This is his administration. Those are his executive agencies. He runs the IRS and the Justice Department,” she continued. “A president sets a mood, a tone. He establishes an atmosphere. If he is arrogant, arrogance spreads. If he is too partisan, too disrespecting of political adversaries, that spreads too. Presidents always undo themselves and then blame it on the third guy in the last row in the sleepy agency across town.” It’s even being compared to Watergate, the break-in that ultimately led to the resignation of President Richard M. Nixon. That was the assessment of no less than Woodward, whose reporting on Watergate eventually snared the sitting president. Woodward said recently: “If you read through all these emails, you see that everyone in the government is saying, ‘Oh, let’s not tell the public that terrorists were involved, people connected to al Qaeda. Let’s not tell the public that there were warnings.’ And I have to go back 40 years to Watergate when Nixon put out his edited transcripts to the conversations, and he personally went through them and said, ‘Oh, let’s not tell this, let’s not show this.’ I would not dismiss Benghazi. It’s a very serious issue.” A Republican congressman also recently brought up the subject. “I would say yes. I’m not willing to take it [impeachment] off to take it off the table, but that’s certainly not what we’re striving for,” Rep. Jason Chaffetz, R-Utah, told CNN. “We want truth, we want to bring the people who perpetrated the terrorism in Benghazi to be brought to justice, and we want to have the president do what he has said he would always do. And that is be open and transparent. Thus far, the White House has not done that.” Earlier, Chaffetz, in an interview with the Salt Lake Tribune, was asked if impeachment was within the realm of possibility.

“It’s certainly a possibility,” he told the paper. “That’s not the goal but given the continued lies perpetrated by this administration, I don’t know where it’s going to go. … I’m not taking it off the table. I’m not out there touting that but I think this gets to the highest levels of our government and integrity and honesty are paramount.”

Chaffetz has been championing the call to probe the Sept. 11, 2012, attack on the Benghazi compound that left four Americans dead, including Ambassador Chris Stevens.

Sen. James Inhofe, R-Okla., said last week impeachment was possible over the “most egregious cover-up in American history.

“People may be starting to use the I-word before too long,” Inhofe told radio host Rusty Humphries, according to The Hill.

“The I-word meaning impeachment?” Humphries asked.

“Yeah,” Inhofe responded.

Additionally, radio host Mike Huckabee, the former Arkansas governor and one-time presidential candidate, predicted Obama won’t serve out his full second term because of his complicity in a cover-up over Benghazi.

Other members of Congress who have suggested impeachment for a variety of reasons in recent years include Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C.; Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn.; Rep. Steve Stockman, R-Texas; Rep. Louie Gohmert, R-Texas; Rep. Trey Radel, R-Fla.; and Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa.

Others who have raised the subject rock legend and gun-rights defender Ted Nugent, who said there’s “no question” Obama should be impeached.

He blasted “the criminality of this government, the unprecedented abuse of power, corruption, fraud and deceit by the Chicago gangster-scammer-ACORN-in-chief.”

“It’s so diabolical,” he said.
Even Code Pink co-founder Medea Benjamin called for the impeachment of Obama over his policy of permitting drone strikes on American citizens overseas who are members of terrorist organizations.

On WABC Radio’s “Aaron Klein Investigative Radio,” Benjamin affirmed she believes the drone warfare is an impeachable offense.

AMERICANS GETTING SERIOUS ABOUT IMPEACHMENT

by BOB UNRUH IMPEACH OBAMA # 2

Editor’s note: This is another in a series of “WND/WENZEL POLLS” conducted exclusively for WND by the public-opinion research and media consulting company Wenzel Strategies.

Not only have voters begun to connect the dots between the faltering economy and global insecurity to President Obama’s administration in significant numbers, they also have begun to join him in calling for “change.”

Only this is the impeachment type of change, not the type Obama has so often preached.

The poll shows those advocating impeachment nearly equal to the number of those against it. For example, regarding Obama’s campaign for amnesty to illegals, 44 percent say he should be impeached for that, while only 48 percent say he should not. And 46 percent say they think Obama should be impeached for launching the war to remove Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi, while 49 percent say no.

“Taken by itself, any of these questions about President Obama could be ignored, but it becomes much more questionable when all of these … administration actions are taken as a whole,” said Fritz Wenzel, whose public opinion and media consulting company Wenzel Strategies did the poll.

The scientific survey was done by telephone March 7-12 and contains a margin of error of 2.92 percent.

“Obama appears to have found a way to split the nation directly down the middle on each issue, but, as his plummeting poll numbers may now indicate, the American public may well be catching up with the cumulative effect of this administration’s handling of the Constitution and the federal government,” Wenzel said.

He noted that Obama’s job approval is in freefall.

“American voters apparently are finally, after more than four years, beginning to connect the sluggish economy, the precarious state of international affairs, and Barack Obama,” Wenzel said. “After an inauguration bounce, his job approval has now returned to near the lowest level he has ever seen, with 42 percent giving him positive marks for his overall performance.”

Wenzel said: “Some of this has to do in particular with his ham-handed management of the recent sequester budget battle with Congress – and the aftermath which has shown he and his administration spokesmen deceived the country. Even some media outlets have started grilling administration officials over inconsistencies and other problems. The tide seems to have turned against the Obama administration, as not even a majority of Democrats give him positive marks for his handling of his job.”

Get the bumper sticker that says it all, “Honk for Impeachment.”

One 1 in 4 respondents gives Obama an excellent report card. Sixteen percent rate his performance as “good” and another 10 percent say “fair.” But 47 percent, including 1 in 6 of the Democrats, say he’s at “poor.”

But on issues ranging from the Fast and Furious gun scandal, secrets, drones killing Americans, recess appointments, Obama’s “czars,” his Arizona lawsuit, illegal aliens, Gadhafi’s reign, and his advocacy for homosexuality through his attempts to undermine the Defense of Marriage Act, things have gone beyond just disapproval.

“One of the longest lingering problems from the first term of the Obama administration is the so-called ‘Fast and Furious’ scandal involving the ATF’s gun-running scheme. Americans are clearly looking for a scapegoat for this debacle, which resulted in about 100 gunshot deaths, and 65 percent said they agree Attorney General Eric Holder should be impeached for his handling of this scandal. This number is so high that it is hard to see how Democrats on Capitol Hill can run defense for the administration on this one. Those who do are at serious political risk,” said Wenzel.

Get “Taking America Back,” Joseph Farah’s manifesto for sovereignty, self-reliance and moral renewal

“This figure is particular interesting given that Americans seem to want to give the administration a reasonable amount of leeway in its handling of national affairs. A slim majority of 51 percent said they think the administration should have the freedom to withhold some information from Congress about how it is conducting its affairs. However, that number is a little deceiving, as just 19 percent said the administration itself should have the discretion to decide just what should be withheld and what should be disclosed. Another 23 percent said they think Congress should decide, and 25 percent said they think the federal courts should make that decision. Even among Democrats, just 33 percent said they think the Obama administration should have the power to decide what information should be withheld from the oversight of Congress,” Wenzel said.

His analysis of the Obama administration’s performance level continued:

“Asked whether they approved of the Obama administration’s drone killings of three Americans who were reputed to be connected with terrorist operations but none of which had been convicted of a crime, 60 percent disagreed with those killings,” he said.

“This has got to be a big piece of the growing disenchantment with Obama, as 46 percent said they ‘strongly disagreed’ with those drone killings. Sen. Rand Paul’s filibuster recently brought this issue into the national spotlight, and it is clear Americans were paying attention.”

He explained, “Even after respondents were informed that these citizens were terrorists, 41 percent still said they don’t believe Obama had the right to execute them without a court ruling of guilt. The American public clearly wants the U.S. judicial system to weigh in on such cases – 49 percent said they would have preferred that these terrorists be captured and tried in court.”

Continuing to the next subject, Wenzel said, “Six in 10 respondents said they do not agree with Obama’s decision to make up his own mind about what is and what is not a congressional recess appointment. A federal court recently struck down several appointments to top administration jobs. These appointees continue to make federal policy despite not winning congressional approval. The public agrees with the federal court system that this is wrong. A similar percentage of respondents – 61 percent – said these officials should be removed from office.”

Wenzel explained, “This reflects a core American value of fair play and playing by the rules, and the Obama administration’s refusal to respect the Constitution and these rules. This speaks to a very important factor at play here – the American people tend to grant a president a certain amount of trust, but, once lost, it is very difficult to win that back. If Americans revoke their trust of Obama, he will find himself in very deep trouble.

“So far, he is safe, but only marginally so, as 51 percent said he should not be impeached for this breach of the Constitution, but 43 percent said they think he should face impeachment over this issue.”

The dozens of “czars” that Obama has appointed, too, are raising questions. They assumed their sometimes significant responsibilities on the word of the president, but without any congressional oversight or approval.

“Here, 51 percent said they believe Obama should face impeachment over this issue,” Wenzel said.

On Obama’s fight with Arizona over enforcing immigration laws? “Forty-four percent said he should be impeached for that action and 48 percent said he should not be impeached for it.”

On the war against Gadhafi? Forty-six percent endorse impeachment as punishment; 49 percent said no.

On impeachment for how the Defense of Marriage Act was handled: Forty percent say impeach and 52 percent said no.

There has been a flood of impeachment comments lately. Rock legend and gun-rights defender Ted Nugent said there’s “no question” Obama should be impeached, and he’s calling CNN anchor Piers Morgan an “effective idiot” in the battle over the Second Amendment.

Referring to Obama, Nugent says, “There’s no question that this guy’s violations qualify for impeachment. There’s no question.”

He blasted “the criminality of this government, the unprecedented abuse of power, corruption, fraud and deceit by the Chicago gangster-scammer-ACORN-in-chief. It’s so diabolical … .”

Sign the petition urging Congress to impeach Obama.

Nugent made his comments during a recent interview with radio host Alex Jones.

And radio giant Rush Limbaugh said on his own program that the Obama administration’s release of hundreds and potentially thousands of illegal-alien criminals from U.S. detention centers in connection with possible budget cuts is “an impeachable offense.”

“In what used to be considered (if we can remember this far back) normal, sane times, this is an impeachable offense,” Limbaugh said. “This is action being taken against the country. … It is sheer madness to be doing this. It is petulant, it is childish.”

Overall, how would you rate the job performance of President Barack Obama – would you say he is doing an excellent job, a good job, only a fair job, or a poor job?

The Obama administration has invoked executive privilege to block the U.S. Congress from receiving Justice Department documents regarding the loss of 2,000 firearms, most of them flowing freely over the Mexican border. The deaths of as many as 100 people, including a U.S. border agent, have been linked directly to those weapons. The U.S. House of Representatives has voted to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt for refusing to respond to questions on the subject, but a U.S. attorney declined to prosecute him. Do you agree or disagree that Eric Holder should be impeached because of his management of this operation, known by the code name Fast and Furious?

The United States Congress is empowered by the U.S. Constitution with oversight of the executive branch of the U.S. government. Some information, including that from intelligence briefings, is conveyed to Congress in secret and remains secret from the public. Other information is made public. Generally speaking, do you agree or disagree that the executive branch of the U.S. government should be allowed to withhold some documents or information about its operations from those in Congress who have oversight responsibilities?

If a presidential administration was to keep information about its operations from Congress, who should decide what information should be withheld?

The Obama administration has used missile strikes fired from unmanned drones to kill at least three United States citizens, none of which had renounced their citizenship or been convicted of a crime in any U.S. court. The administration received no permission to conduct these killings from Congress or from any federal judge or court. Regardless of whom these people were who were killed, do you agree or disagree that the Obama administration had the right to kill its own citizens in this manner?

These citizens were all said to have links to terrorist activities, despite not being adjudicated by the courts. Knowing this, do you agree or disagree that the Obama administration had the right to kill these American citizens?

Had the Obama administration pursued and won criminal convictions against these people, even if in absentia, would you agree that following that legal process would then give the Obama administration the right to kill these American citizens, or would you have preferred these people be captured and subjected to the traditional U.S. court system of punishment?

Do you agree or disagree that President Obama committed an impeachable offense by ordering these U.S. citizens be killed?

The U.S. Constitution provides for the president to fill vacancies in his administration when the U.S. Senate is in recess, but when the Senate is in session, they must confirm his nominees. But while the Senate was in session in January 2012, President Obama made what he called recess appointments and these people took office and began to take action on federal business. A federal court later ruled that these appointments violated the Constitution, but these officials continue in their positions. Do you agree or disagree that President Obama should have made these appointments?

Do you agree or disagree that these officials should remain in office making decisions after a federal court has ruled their appointments unconstitutional?

Do you agree or disagree that President Obama should be impeached for making these appointments in violation oo the Constitution?

The Obama administration in 2010 filed a lawsuit against the state of Arizona to stop it from enforcing federal law regarding illegal immigrants, while at about the same time it declined to enforce similar federal statutes in so-called sanctuary cities, which had purposely ignored such federal laws against illegal immigrants. Do you agree or disagree that President Obama should be impeached for his handling of these situations?

In June 2012, President Obama issued an executive order preventing the deportation of many illegal immigrants who were brought to this country as children, though Congress had not passed such a law allowing for such treatment of these illegal immigrants. Do you agree or disagree that President Obama should be impeached for his handling of this situation?

In March 2011, the U.S. launched combat operations in Libya to overthrow Moammar Gadhafi, despite the fact that President Obama never sought or received congressional authorization for those operations, as required by the U.S. Constitution. At the time, Libya posed no threat to the United States. Do you agree or disagree that President Obama should be impeached for his handling of this situation?

President Obama announced in 2011 that his administration believed the Defense of Marriage Act to be unconstitutional and that they would not defend it. The law, known as DOMA and signed into law in 1996 by President Clinton, guarantees that states won’t be forced to recognize same-sex marriages conducted in other states. Do you agree or disagree that President Obama should be impeached for his handling of this situation?

‘Impeach Obama’ Message Displayed On Alaska Construction Signs By Hackers

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/nate-willis

Drivers are used to seeing warnings of road closures, repairs and other notifications on electronic construction signs dotting the nation’s highways. But this week, motorists around Anchorage saw a different message: “Impeach Obama.”

According to the Alaska Department of Transportation, pranksters hacked into several of the construction signs on late Wednesday night or early Thursday morning and put up the anti-President Obama message.

According to KTUU, DOT “doesn’t lock the boxes on the signs that hold the message control pad” — although it will now.

“I’m sure somebody thought it was a pretty funny joke but we try to convey a lot of important information with these signs,” said Tim Croghan, a regional construction engineer for DOT.

The person or persons who tampered with the construction signs could face charges of criminal mischief.
