Europe’s Islamist Problem, And Why Obama Won’t Use The Term Islamic Terrorism

by Javier Manjarrees
Europe’s Islamic terrorists are coming home to roost, as police from France, Belgium, and Germany have cracked down and arrested over a dozen suspected Islamists people ready to carry out attacks in those respective countries.

Many of these homegrown European terrorists live in these so-called “no-go” zones where Sharia Law governs, and terrorists have found safe-haven from prosecutions because police do not dare venture into these neighborhoods.

Many of these Islamists, who have traveled to Syria and Iraq to fight alongside their terrorist brethren, have been allowed to re-enter their respective countries of citizenship.

This is a big problem, a problem that countries like Belgium, Germany, and France have created by not revoking the passports and citizenship of these known Jihadists.

Just the other night, the Obama administration stated that if you are a U.S. born Islamic terrorist, and you leave the country to fight in this global jihad, that your passport will not necessarily be revoked.

Meaning, American-grown Islamic terrorists can re-enter the United States with their passports and citizenship intact.

Meanwhile in Belgium, officials are saying that the arrests of the dozen or so suspects in Brussels were linked to an imminent plot to attack police officers.

Dozens of terror suspects were arrested in Belgium, France, and Germany early Friday, a day after Belgian authorities said that they halted a plot to attack police officers by mere hours.

“Eric Van der Sypt, a Belgian federal magistrate, told a news conference Friday in Brussels that 13 people had been detained in Belgium in connection with the plot, with another two arrested in neighboring France. He added that a dozen searches had led to the discovery of four military-style weapons including Kalashnikov assault rifles.

On Thursday, Belgian police had moved against a suspected terrorist hideout in the eastern town of Verviers. In the ensuing firefight, two terror suspects were killed, while a third was wounded and arrested.

At the time, officials said the militant group targeted in the raid included some who had returned from Syria. Authorities have previously said 300 Belgian residents have gone to fight with extremist Islamic formations in Syria; it is unclear how many have returned.

Authorities in Belgium signaled they were ready for more trouble by raising the national terror alert level from 2 to 3, the second-highest level. Prime Minister Charles Michel said the increase in the threat level was “a choice for prudence.”
“There is no concrete or specific knowledge of new elements of threat,” he said.
Meanwhile in France…

French police arrested at least 12 people in anti-terrorism raids in three towns around Paris, the city prosecutor’s office said early Friday.

The prosecutor’s office said that the raids were targeting people with links to Amedy Coulibaly, the gunman who attacked a kosher supermarket Jan. 9 and claimed ties to the Islamic State terror group. Police officials earlier told The Associated Press that they were seeking up to eight to 10 potential accomplices

Coulibaly was one of three gunmen who carried out a series of terror attacks that resulted in the deaths of 17 people.

Authorities in France and several other countries are looking for possible accomplices. One suspect, Coulibaly’s common-law wife Hayat Boumeddiane, is believed to have fled to Syria earlier this month.
Watch the video below of the White House’s official 2-point response for not labeling the recent terrorist attacks as being the work of radical Islamic terrorists.
Even with these European and Islamist-sympathizing countries finally calling the recent terrorist acts committed as being the work of radical Islamic terrorism, President Obama and his administration refuse to call these acts for what they are, Islamic terrorism.

We have chosen not to use that label, because it doesn’t seem to accurate describe what had happened-WH Press Secretary Josh Earnest

The Obama Administration is setting up the U.S. for a big fall. With every word he utters, Obama continues to embolden Islamic terrorists, both stateside and abroad, to committed these heinous acts of terrorism, all in the name of Islam.

Watch the video of Earnest’s ridiculous reasoning for Obama refuses to name Islam as the source of terrorism.

Though Osama bin Laden is dead and much of al-Qaeda’s leadership has met a similar fate, the global impact of Islamic extremists reaches far beyond the ranks of al-Qaeda.

The Muslim Brotherhood in particular, having been in operation for close to a century, is of distinct concern to many U.S. lawmakers.

With a motto of: “Allah is our objective. The Prophet is our leader. The Qur’an is our law. Jihad is our way. Dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope,“ and a commitment by some of its members to ”[destroy] Western civilization from within,” some politicians are demanding to know the depth of U.S. involvement with the organization– particularly within our intelligence community.

On June 13, five members of Congress including Michele Bachmann (MN-06), Trent Franks (AZ-02), Louie Gohmert (TX-01), Tom Rooney (FL-16) and Lynn Westmoreland (GA-03) sent distinct letters to the Inspectors General of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, the Department of Defense, the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Justice and the Department of State with the intention of finding out.

Each letter roughly began:

As you may know, information has recently come to light that raises serious questions about the involvement of organizations and individuals associated with the Muslim Brotherhood in [insert department] activities and policies. Given that the U.S. government has established in federal court that the Muslim Brotherhood’s mission in the United States is “destroying Western civilization from within” — a practice the Brothers call “civilization jihad” — we believe that the apparent involvement of those with such ties raises serious security concerns that warrant your urgent attention.
From there, each letter specifies troubling instances in which individuals associated with the organization were given positions of influence within the government, or in the case of the letter to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, the time the Director of National Intelligence James Clapper asserted that the Muslim Brotherhood is a “very heterogeneous, largely secular [group], which has eschewed violence.”
Congressman Rooney explained: “The Muslim Brotherhood openly calls for violence against the United States, but we’re learning that this organization may be infiltrating our ranks, even within our military…We need our top security agencies to investigate thoroughly the degree to which members of this organization are active in our defense and intelligence communities, and what impact that has on our national security.”

Concluding with a set of specific questions and requests, the letters end: “Please forward your recommended ‘corrective action,’ including a discussion of its consistency with the Constitution and laws of the United States, together with your other findings, to the undersigned in unclassified and, if necessary, classified form, within 90 days of your receipt of this letter.”
“Supreme Guide” Mohammed Badie’s connections were also mentioned in the letters, because he “openly called for jihad by all ‘Arab and Muslim peoples’ against the United States” in 2010 (Photo: AP)Congresswoman Michele Bachmann’s website includes each letter, and a number of quotes from the Congressmen who sent them.

Bachmann declared: “The national security of our country depends on getting straight answers from the Inspectors General to the questions we posed in these letters…The Muslim Brotherhood is not shy about their call for jihad against the United States. We seek answers through these letters because we will not tolerate this group and its affiliates holding positions of power in our government or influencing our nation’s leaders.”

Comments: This organization and others are so deep into this regime and are indeed, being abetted by the regime. Take the example of “Major” Nadal and how many reports were NOT written and complaints NOT registered regarding his behavior due to fear of being rebuked as a racist. A few years back, there was a semi-scandal regarding Chinese scientists working at the Sandia National Labs. Question 1: why are we allowing Chinese nationals to work in our “secure” labs and research facilities? Question 2: having survived that one incident, WHY are we quietly allowing them to return?
Question 3: why are we allowing over 300,000 Chinese citizens to attend our universities–is this not an example of greed over security? This regime is allowing a cancer to mestastasize and instead of seeking a cure they are aiding the disease to spread.

Obama Seen As the Son of Islam

By Becky Bratu,
Rev. Franklin Graham, the son of evangelist Billy Graham and a prominent evangelical leader in his own right, waded into contentious waters Tuesday when asked for his views on the religious beliefs of President Obama and the GOP hopefuls.
Graham, the CEO and president of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, told a Morning Joe panel he couldn’t say for certain that Obama is a Christian.
“You have to ask him. I cannot answer that question for anybody. All I know is I’m a sinner, and that God has forgiven me of my sins,” Graham said. “You have to ask every person. He has said he’s a Christian, so I just have to assume that he is.”

But Graham also said he couldn’t “categorically” say Obama wasn’t a Muslim, in part, because Islam has gotten a “free pass” under Obama. Graham also said the Muslim world sees Obama as a “son of Islam,” because the president’s father and grandfather were Muslim.
According to Edina Lekovic, director of policy at the Muslim Public Affairs Council, being born in a Muslim family doesn’t make one a Muslim. A person has to make an active choice to become a Muslim, Lekovic said.
Obama has said again and again that he is a Christian, both as a presidential candidate and as president.
“I’m a Christian by choice,” Obama told a group of New Mexico voters last September, answering a question from a member of the audience. He said he has embraced his faith even though growing up, “my family didn’t, frankly. They weren’t folks who went to church every week.”
In Chicago, Obama was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ for years, but he quit in May 2008 after videos of the Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s racially-divisive sermons surfaced on the Web.
“Our relations with Trinity have been strained by the divisive statements of Reverend Wright, which sharply conflict with our own views,” Obama and his wife Michelle wrote at the time.
The debate over the president’s faith was brought up again on the campaign trail this Saturday, when Rick Santorum told a Tea Party crowd in Columbus, Ohio, that Obama’s agenda is “not about you. It’s not about you. It’s not about your quality of life. It’s not about your job. It’s about some phony ideal, some phony theology. Oh, not a theology based on the Bible, a different theology, but no less a theology.”

No debate on Sharia punishments, because "there is nothing to debate about in a matter clearly stated in the religion of Islam"

Protesters called for the arrest of the UN human rights chief for criticizing and calling for debate on flogging for extra-marital sex, as is called for in Qur’an 24:2: “The woman and the man guilty of adultery or fornication,- flog each of them with a hundred stripes: Let not compassion move you in their case, in a matter prescribed by Allah, if ye believe in Allah and the Last Day: and let a party of the Believers witness their punishment.”

Such debates have been branded “anti-Islamic issues,” and the implication is clear that to challenge Sharia is to challenge Allah, which could conceivably bring its own set of charges (Qur’an 5:33) at some point in the Maldives’ gallop toward full Sharia.

The phenomenon on display here is also the major obstacle to reforms in Islamic countries where human rights in general, and the rights of non-believers and women are concerned. “Maldives won’t allow debates on anti-Islamic issues: Foreign Minister,” by Ahmed Hamdhoon for Haveeru News Service, November 26 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):

The government will not allow debates to be held in the Maldives on issues that are against the fundamentals of Islam, Foreign Minister Ahmed Naseem said today.

The minister’s comments come two days after the UN human rights chief called for a public debate in the Maldives on the practice of flogging women found guilty of extra-marital sex.

Minister Naseem told Haveeru that the government would not open a basic Islamic principle such as flogging for public debate in the Maldives despite requests to do so.

“What’s there to discuss about flogging? There is nothing to debate about in a matter clearly stated in the religion of Islam. No one can argue with God,” he said.

“Our foreign ministry will not allow that to happen.”

Naseem stressed that the government will not act against the views expressed by Islamic Minister Dr Abdul Majeed Abdul Bari on Navi Pillay’s comments.

“The government will follow the recommendations given by the Islamic Ministry on religious issues. The government will not stand up against the views expressed by Bari, which is the view of the government [regarding Pillay’s remarks],” he said.

“Maldives is a 100 percent Muslim country.”

During her four-day visit to the country, Pillay told parliamentarians on Thursday that flogging women convicted of extra-marital sex is one of the most inhumane and degrading forms of violence against women.

“I strongly believe that a public debate is needed in Maldives on this issue of major concern,” she said.

Pillay later told reporters that she held discussions with President Mohamed Nasheed, ministers and the judiciary on how to end the practice of flogging in the Maldives.

“At the very least, pending more permanent changes in the law, it should be possible for the government and the judiciary to engineer a practical moratorium on flogging,” she proposed.

She also called on Maldivian authorities to remove the “discriminatory” constitutional provision that requires every citizen to be a Muslim.

“I would again urge a debate on that to open up the benefits of the constitution to all and to remove that discriminatory provision,” she said.

Meanwhile, the UN human rights chief’s comments sparked protests in capital Male with some calling for her arrest.

Protestors surrounded the UN Building yesterday, condemning Pillay’s remarks and demanding an apology from the UN and parliamentarians.

Pillay’s visit was the first such visit to the Maldives by a UN High Commissioner for Human Rights.

'You're all going to die... Allahu Akbar!': Southwest flight forced to make emergency landing after passenger 'shouts threats in Arabic'

A flight was forced to land today after a passenger dressed in black began shouting: ‘Allahu Akbar… you’re all going to die’.
Southwest Airlines Flight 3683 was forced to made an unscheduled stop after the pilot made an emergency call to the nearest airport.
The plane was en route from Los Angeles to Kansas City when it landed at Amarillo Airport, Texas at 3.30pm.

Ali Reza Shahsauri, from Indialantic, Florida, was arrested at the airport on a charge of interference.
An emergency call to the flight tower at the Texas airport initially reported that the 29-year-old passenger was trying to get into the flight deck.

However Amarillo Aviation Director Patrick Rhodes later said he was ‘not trying to break into the cockpit, but was unruly and had confronted the cabin crew’.
Passengers claimed he stood at the back of the plane and shouted: ‘You’re all going to die. you’re all going to hell. Allahu Akbar.’
However, the FBI said the incident did not appear to be terrorism related.

A spokesman said: ‘The FBI continues to investigate, but initial indications are that there was no terrorist intent. This guy is a U.S. citizen.’
Another passenger Doug Oerding told the Amarillo Globe-News that Shahsavari started screaming obscenities at fellow travellers during the flight.
Attendants attempted to calm Shahsavari but he went to a bathroom at the rear of the plane and started making a commotion.
Mr Oerding said: ‘All of us guys were looking at him like are we going to have to do something.’
The suspect’s father Mohammad Shahsavari confirmed the suspect was his son but that he had no idea what lead to the incident.
Mr Shahsavari told the Associated Press: ‘I don’t know what to say.’
Ashley Dillon, spokesperson for Southwest Airlines, said: ‘Flight 3683 was en route from Los Angeles to Kansas City.
‘It landed at Amarillo after a passenger became disruptive on board.
‘The passenger was removed from the flight by authorities. We are working with them to establish what happened.’
None of the 136 passengers and five crew members were injured in the incident and the plane completed its journey to LA
