State Department, Iran Conspire to Hand U.S. Sovereignty to U.N.

UN-Convention-on-the-Rights-of-the-ChildThere’s no nice way to say this, but the Obama Administration is seriously considering backstabbing America in a big, big way.

The plan is revealed in a statement by Iran’s foreign minister and lead negotiator Javad Zarif urging the United States to bypass Congress and take an expected nuclear deal with Tehran to the United Nations for approval.
It’s an idea that John “I Served in Vietnam” Kerry and crew at the State Department are said to be optimistic about.
No doubt it’s somewhere in the “Living Constitution” that Progressives are always talking about, but the actual Constitution (not to mention the Declaration of Independence) seems to be missing the section about how the president can not only create, pass and enforce laws all by himself, but is also authorized to obtain a rubber stamp from the United Nations when the Congress is not obliging.
I have no doubt that Kerry, Emperor Obama and Rasputin, er, Valerie Jarrett believe that such a maneuver would be “legal” (at least in the Palpatinean sense of “I will make it legal”).
I also have no doubt that Media Matters, the Huffing-and-Puffington Post and all the other George Soros-funded “news” media will have ready excuses for why such a maneuver is not only legal but necessary for the good of America because of those damned Republicans.
Further, there can be no doubt that Iran thinks it’s in charge here. “A resolution under Chapter 7 of the U.N. charter is an international and binding treaty for all the member states,” Zarif said. “… Any deal is binding for the current U.S. government and for the future U.S. governments.”

But I have some questions about who is outmaneuvering whom, and whether taking a treaty to the United Nations would represent the abandonment of U.S. sovereignty to foreign control that it seems to be on the surface.
The alternative is that this could also be the stirrings of a power play to take over the United Nations by Obama. He’s been fighting to take over the Middle East for years, with little clear success.
If he’s as ambitious as I think he is, he will have to deal with the U.N. sooner or later.
Could a flagrantly unconstitutional appeal to foreign authority actually be an in to power?
Or is Obama simply heeding the call of his masters in the Muslim Brotherhood and continuing his work to dismantle U.S. authority?

We Pay For This Crap: UN Climate Chief Recommends Communism As The Best Way Fight Global Warming

by Heather Ginsberg – Town HallChristina

Climate change has been a popular topic of conversation lately and it appears the United Nations is taking a stand on the environmental changes. The UN climate chief, Christiana Figueres, also apparently knows about how government systems affect the climate. Oh wait, no she doesn’t.

She stated earlier this week that democracy is a poor political system for fighting global warming. She also said that communist China is instead the best model.

Even though China is the world’s top emitter of carbon dioxide and struggles with major pollution issues of their own, apparently Ms. Figueres thinks that means they are “doing it right” when it comes to fighting global warming.

“Figueres added that the deep partisan divide in the U.S. Congress is “very detrimental” to passing any sort of legislation to fight global warming. The Chinese Communist Party, on the other hand, can push key policies and reforms all on its own. The country’s national legislature largely enforces the decisions made by the party’s Central Committee and other executive offices.”

I guess the UN chief forgot that communism was responsible for 94 million deaths in China, the Soviet Union, North Korea, Afghanistan and Eastern Europe in the 20th century. China alone caused 65 million of those. But clearly that means that communism is a great political system that we should all try to emulate.

But maybe one could say that has nothing to do with their energy resources. Well in 2012 China got 9 percent of its power from renewable sources, whereas the U.S. got 11 percent.

Oh and don’t forget that the Wall Street Journal noted that China’s air quality was so bad that it had roughly 1.2 million people die prematurely in 2010 as a result of air pollution. And Chinese government figures say “lung cancer is now the leading cause of death from malignant tumors. Many of those dying are nonsmokers.”

So who really is the better country when it comes to protecting the environment? Maybe Ms. Figueres needs to do a bit more research before she starts claiming one type of government is better than the other, when it comes to the environment or whatever.

Crooked Ways the UN Rules

unflagYou remember Richard Falk — the UN Human Rights Council special rapporteur who last month wrote an article blaming America for the terrorist bombings of the Boston Marathon. Falk suggested these horrific attacks were part of the post-colonial world’s natural “resistance” to “the American global domination project.” In response, more than two dozen members of Congress called for Falk — an American academic — to be fired from his UN post.

Now, according to a dispatch by Fox News editor-at large George Russell, the U.S. State Department is saying that Falk cannot be fired — because the rules of the Human Rights Council contain no provision for firing any of the Council’s dozens of special rapporteurs. That’s quite plausible; the UN also lacks any provision for removing a secretary-general (as became evident during the Oil-for-Food scandal, on Kofi Annan’s watch). It is also absurd, and in practice not quite credible. When UN senior officials want to, they can be quite creative about sidelining or ousting inconvenient personnel — though such maneuvers seem more often reserved for whistleblowers than for those peddling the anti-American or anti-Israel vitriol in which the UN specializes.

But in the case of Falk, it looks like both the State Department and the UN Human Rights Council will defer politely to the UN’s lack of rules for firing a special rapporteur. His earliest departure date will be May of 2014, when his six-year term expires. At which stage, as Russell notes, Falk could run for another post as a special rapporteur for the Human Rights Council, which is packed with countries sympathetic to his style.

It gets worse. Russell has also unearthed the information — buried in a 183-page report from the UN’s External Board of Auditors — that Human Rights Council special rapporteurs, such as Falk, are not required to disclose any support they might get from institutions or individual governments. The basic arrangement is that these rapporteurs usually work for a token $1 per year, but the UN Human Rights Council covers their expenses which, according to documents obtained by Fox, can range from about $240,000 to almost $600,000 per year.

In other words, while UN special rapporteurs appear to be doing altruistic work for a token fee, the Human Rights Council has effectively issued them a license to operate under the UN logo, expenses paid by the UN — and at the same time, allows them to accept funding from who-knows-whom with who-knows-what-agenda, and no requirement to disclose any of it. Oh, and P.S., there is no provision for firing them (see above, and read Russell’s piece in full). It may happen that some of these special rapporteurs try to operate with integrity. But this is yet another instance in which, if the UN had set out to design a crooked setup, it’s hard to think how they could have done a better job of it. It’s time to think bigger than firing Richard Falk. How about finding a way to fire the entire Human Rights Council?

Why Are We Training Russian Troops In The US?

russian_soldiers_are_the_best_in_the_worldAre America’s treasured National Parks being co-opted by the New World Order under the guise of designating them World Heritage Sites, thus allowing foreign troops and United Nations agencies to take over our country in a soft coup d’etat? A blogger has photographed heavily equipped armored vehicles carrying the “Special Response Team” logo in and around the Great Smoky Mountains National Heritage site in Gatlinburg, TN. (1) ”It is a deadly serious piece of equipment never before used inside the US until now,” says the blogger “Sherrie” who then adds, “The vehicles don’t come more heavily armored.”
Sherrie has put up several pictures of these in-country tanks which she said she saw on and near Interstate 75 when she was traveling back roads near Winchester, Richmond, KY, and lists Rt. # 627 as an area of interest. “This spot is (around) the US Army Chemical Depot” which covers 14,000 acres in Kentucky backwoods,” the blogger says on the video which the Liberty web site is putting up for general viewing. She mentions chemical weapons involving 523 tons of nerve agents and shows aerial photography of train tracks going up to several buildings in this compound! “I’m not sure what they are,” she says, positing the notion of a possible FEMA camp in the Kentucky woods.
Now in addition to sighting of MRAP vehicles, “Sherrie” tells readers that “Russians were stopping and questioning people in the Gatlinburg, Smoky Mountain Parks region.” She quotes a high ranking individual in a local area state militia organization who she says she trusts as being truthful. The scenario developed when these apparently foreign troops wearing DHS uniforms with the Eagle insignia tried to enter Tennessee from Kentucky. “They were NOT Americans. . .appeared to be Russian or Eastern European!”
The Tennessee State Guard is being formulated as part of the 22 state Governors’ Militia Organization of volunteers which answers only to the Governors, not to the Federal government. (2) What has developed is the confiscation of equipment belong to National Guard Units nationwide. Trucks and other equipment sent to Iraq are not being replaced or returned to the states by the federal government because it is “too expensive” to transport the vehicles and equipment back into the country. This has prompted 22 governors to form State Militia Units paid for by the states and thus kept out of the reach of the federal government. (2)
Has the Division of Homeland Security partnered with the United Nations One World military apparatus with a sleight of hand operation known as World Heritage Site designation? The observant blogger lists these US treasures also as being so designated: Statue of Liberty, Everglades, Mammoth Cave, Yellowstone, Yosemite, all former National Parks. Folks, this designation and UN involvement coincides with the ten region DHS map of the United States! Has this under-the-radar give away of America already taken place, thus allowing the constitutionally prohibited onus of foreign troops being stationed on American soil? What is your Congress doing about this?

UPDATE : WHITE HOUSE PRAISES UN FOR PASSING THE GEORGE SOROS SPONSORED TREATY

un-building1BREAKING: UN Passes Obama-Backed Arms Treaty – Update: White House Praises UN For Passing Treaty…
The Senate already voted to forbid U.S. involvement in the treaty … then again, we already know Obama doesn’t give two shits what Congress thinks.

Via The Hill:

The Obama administration joined 153 other nations Tuesday in approving an arms trade treaty opposed by the U.S. gun lobby.

Adoption of the treaty sets up a showdown between the White House and Congress, where a majority of senators have called on the president not to sign the treaty because it regulates small arms.

In one of the amendments to the Senate Budget last month, lawmakers voted 53 to 46 to stop the United States from joining the treaty.

The administration and treaty proponents say it would have no impact on the Second Amendment, since it applies to arms exports and not domestic arms sales.

Update: Now, will Obama sign it or not? His UN reps voted for it after he ensured its passage by dropping a consensus requirement, so I’m guessing he will.

Via Politico:

The White House is “pleased” by the United Nations General Assembly’s Tuesday vote in favor of a treaty to regulate the global arms trade, but isn’t yet worrying about clearing it through the Senate.

“We’re certainly encouraged by and pleased by the outcome,” press secretary Jay Carney said. The administration has not yet determined whether President Obama will sign the Arms Trade Treaty. With the treaty approved by the United Nations, Carney said the administration will begin a “thorough” review process to consider whether to sign it.

United Nations elects genocidal Muslim leader of Sudan to head human rights commission to examine the USA

UN Watch, the Geneva-based non-governmental human rights group, urged UN chief Ban Ki-moon, rights commissioner Navi Pillay, U.S. Ambassador Susan Rice and the EU’s Catherine Ashton to condemn today’s U.N. election of genocidal, misogynistic and tyrannical Omar al-Badhir of Sudan to its 54-member Economic and Social Council, a top U.N. body that regulates human rights groups, oversees U.N. committees on women’s rights, and crafts resolutions from Internet freedom to female genital mutilation.

UN WATCH (h/t Linda R) “This is an outrage,” said Hillel Neuer, executive director of UN Watch. “On the same day we hear that Sudan is killing babies and burning homes in Darfur — precisely the kind of dire situation ECOSOC should be urgently addressing — the U.N. has now made vital human rights protection less likely than ever.”
“It’s inexplicable that 176 of 193 U.N. member states voted to support the blood-soaked regime of Omar Al-Bashir, failing to recognize that electing genocidal Sudan to a global human rights body is like choosing Jack the Ripper to guard a women’s shelter,” said Neuer. “By granting the seal of international legitimacy to a mass murderer, the United Nations human rights system has today diminished its own credibility, and cast a shadow upon the reputation of the organization as a whole.” Although the U.S. took important action in September to pressure Sudan into withdrawing from this Monday’s elections to the 47-nation Human Rights Council — boosted by a massive campaign led my film star Mia Farrow and UN Watch — the Obama Administration has been surprsingly silent on today’s vote.
By contrast, in 2004, the U.S. ambassador famously walked out of ECOSOC after Sudan was elected. According to insiders, Washington’s silence on Sudan may stem from fear of upsetting African and Arab states in advance of America’s own fragile bid for a UNHRC seat in the Nov. 12 vote.
The U.S. is said to have secured the least vote pledges out of the five Western countries vying for three allotted seats, behind Germany, Sweden, Ireland and Greece, all of which canvassed world support long before the U.S. threw its hat in the ring.
The Obama Administration promised that when a country is under Security Council sanction for massive human-rights abuses, “it should be barred, plain and simple, from leadership roles like chairmanships in U.N. bodies. Abusers of international law or norms should not be the public face of the U.N.”

Yet even though Sudan’s president al-Bashir was indicted by the International Criminal Court for genocide, war crimes and and crimes against humanity — by virtue of a Security Council referral — the U.S. voice has been silent, as has that of the European Union.

UN agency funded with Saudi money wants to edit worldwide textbooks

by Ben Evansky

The UN agency that promotes education wants a say in how future textbooks are written, and Saudi Arabia — a nation whose own school books have been criticized for promoting hatred of Christians and Jews — is helping to bankroll the effort.
The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) is currently working with member states to revise its strategy for the publication of textbooks and learning materials. According to UNESCO’s website, experts from 21 countries met in Paris last month at a meeting financed by a $29,000 Saudi donation and focused in part on “ways to ensure that content aimed at students systematically reflects cultural and religious diversity, and avoids gender stereotypes.”
Then, last week, Saudi Arabia’s King Abdullah cut a $20 million check to UNESCO’s emergency fund.
“Saudi textbooks are extremely hateful and full of xenophobic texts.”
– Ali AlAhmed
Critics warn that the funding will come at a price, and predict the Saudis will want input into what goes into rewritten textbooks.
“Saudi textbooks are extremely hateful and full of xenophobic texts,” said Ali AlAhmed, author of the upcoming book “Saudi School Books: Objective Education or Extremist Indoctrination?” and director of the Gulf Institute in Washington, D.C.
According to AlAhmed, the Saudi funding “shows how xenophobic governments like [that of] the Saudis are able to buy influence.” He said UNESCO was betraying its mandate to uphold “value and standards of education and tolerance” as he warned UNESCO and the UN system as a whole were “susceptible to financial buyouts from countries like Saudi Arabia.”
Drawing from research in his upcoming book, which assessed Saudi school textbooks for the last academic year, AlAhmed gave examples of what Saudi children are taught. He said a guidebook says first-grade teachers should tell students that:
“Adhering to Islam is the only path to enter heaven, and escape hellfire.”
“It is from Islam to love Muslims, and to hate the unbelievers and not to imitate them.”
“Examples of false religions [include] Judaism, Christianity.”
AlAhmed says a ninth-grade book teaches that, “The Jews and the Christians are enemies of the believers. He says an 11th-grade book states, “The cursed are: The Christians and all those who have erred from the true path, and worshipped God with other than his orders.”
While the Saudi Embassy press spokesperson in Washington D.C. failed to respond to a request for comment, a UNESCO official signaled that the financial support of members was welcomed.
“Each country has the ultimate responsibility for the content of its national textbooks,” said Qian Tang, UNESCO’s assistant director general for education. “UNESCO’s aim is to encourage and support those responsible (in ministries of education) for the writing and production of textbooks to reflect on how textbook content should promote respect and tolerance for diversity and eliminate all forms of negative stereotypes. ”
Tang said “member states’ engagement in this important area of work is welcomed by UNESCO, as is their financial contribution.”
“Opening up dialogue and producing resources that support countries to reflect on the role of textbooks in the learning environment, not only in relation to subject ‘facts’ but also in relation to tolerance, non-discrimination and social cohesion, is an important means of promoting peace and tolerance,” Tang added.
But Brooke Goldstein, director of The Lawfare Project, a non-profit legal think tank based in New York, challenged that position.
“Posturing as though Saudi Arabia’s contribution to UNESCO is somehow going to better reflect cultural and religious diversity and avoid gender stereotypes is an outright lie,” Goldstein said. “By working with Saudi Arabia to revise its children’s curriculum, UNESCO is not only legitimizing the Kingdom’s hate-education system, but abetting the premeditated murder of innocent Muslim children and fomenting educational conditions conducive to the spread of terrorism.”
Goldstein added, “It should be no surprise, but is nonetheless of utmost concern, that the Saudis are actively working to influence UNESCO’s education curriculum.”
The Obama administration cut funding to UNESCO in October 2011 after a majority of its members voted to grant the Palestinians full membership. U.S. law mandated the cut.

Alabama Adopts First Official State Ban on UN Agenda 21

Written by Alex Newman
Alabama became the first state to adopt a tough law protecting private property and due process by prohibiting any government involvement with or participation in a controversial United Nations scheme known as Agenda 21. Activists from across the political spectrum celebrated the measure’s approval as a significant victory against the UN “sustainability” plot, expressing hope that similar sovereignty-preserving measures would be adopted in other states as the nationwide battle heats up.

The Alabama Senate Bill (SB) 477 legislation, known unofficially among some supporters as the “Due Process for Property Rights” Act, was approved unanimously by both the state House and Senate. After hesitating for a few days, late last month Republican Governor Robert Bentley finally signed into law the wildly popular measure — but only after heavy pressure from activists forced his hand.

Virtually no mention of the law was made in the establishment press. But analysts said the measure was likely the strongest protection against the UN scheme passed anywhere in America so far. The law, aimed at protecting private property rights, specifically prevents all state agencies and local governments in Alabama from participating in the global scheme in any way.

“The State of Alabama and all political subdivisions may not adopt or implement policy recommendations that deliberately or inadvertently infringe or restrict private property rights without due process, as may be required by policy recommendations originating in, or traceable to ‘Agenda 21,’ ” the law states, adding a brief background on the UN plan hatched at the 1992 “Earth Summit” in Rio de Janeiro.

The people of Alabama acting through their elected representatives — not UN bureaucrats — have the authority to develop the state’s environmental and development policies, the official synopsis of the law explains. Therefore, infringements on the property rights of citizens linked to “any other international law or ancillary plan of action that contravenes the Constitution of the United States or the Constitution of the State of Alabama” are also prohibited under the new measure.

Of course, as the law points out, the UN has enlisted a broad array of non-governmental and inter-governmental organizations in its effort to foist Agenda 21 on the world — most notably a Germany-based group called ICLEI, formerly known as the International Council of Local Environmental Initiatives. But the new measure takes direct aim at that problem, too: “the State of Alabama and all political subdivisions may not enter into any agreement, expend any sum of money, or receive funds contracting services, or giving financial aid to or from” any such entities, as defined in Agenda 21 documents.

“This bill, that would bar the state from taking over private property without due process, is intended to shelter Alabamians from the United Nations Agenda 21, a sustainable development initiative that some conservatives see as a precursor for the creation of a world government,” explained Alabama GOP Executive Director T.J. Maloney when announcing that it had been signed into law. The Republican National Committee (RNC) adopted a resolution earlier this year blasting the global scheme and urging policy makers to oppose it, and state parties have followed suit.

Public support for the Alabama law was overwhelming and bipartisan as citizens who had been terrorized by Agenda 21-linked schemes targeting their private property spoke out. But according to analysts and state Republican Party officials cited in press reports, Gov. Bentley was originally hesitant to sign the bill — almost certainly due to concerns over the potential loss of some federal funding.

The U.S. Senate, of course, has never formally ratified Agenda 21. But the executive branch — in conjunction with accomplices at the international, state, and local levels — has for two decades been quietly attempting to impose the plan on Americans by stealth, mostly using deceptive terms like “Smart Growth” and “Green.” And proponents of the global scheme consistently threaten that states seeking to protect citizens from the UN plot could end up losing some federal funds.

“Every time you take a dollar of federal money, there’s strings attached,” explained Ken Freeman, chairman of the Alabama-based group Alliance for Citizens Rights (ACR), an organization that fought hard to ensure that the Governor signed the bill into law. “We were originally walking soft on this issue, to tell you the truth, because when things were going our way, why change anything?”

But when Gov. Bentley did not immediately approve the bill, Freeman told a reporter, ACR turned the activism up a notch, urging citizens to contact the Governor’s office and express their support for the measure. The grassroots pressure paid off: Alabama became the first state to be officially shielded by law from UN-linked anti-property rights scheming.

“It seems that Agenda 21 does actually bring people together in communities — just not in the way the U.N. had hoped for,” remarked Justice Gilpin-Green in a column for the conservative site Townhall, citing Freeman and other instrumental supporters of the effort. “Hopefully other states can mirror Alabama’s determined nature in passing their anti-Agenda 21 legislation. It was citizen awareness and direct action that finally brought about the needed changes last week and that same awareness and action will be needed for the future of every other state.”

Legislative analysts said the bill, sponsored by GOP state Sen. Gerald Dial, was extremely well crafted: protecting citizens and individual rights from UN decrees in a simple, straightforward manner that Agenda 21 advocates would have a hard time criticizing. Liberty-minded organizations and lawmakers are already examining the measure for potential use as a model in other states currently struggling to expel the global scheme and its myriad tentacles.

“Alabama House Bill 618 [SB 477] is a large step towards protecting Alabamians against UN meddling. It protects the due process rights of Alabamians. It keeps Constitutional Law above International Law,” noted Jason Baker, a Montgomery-based conservative pundit with the Examiner. “Now state after state awakens to the threat it poses to freedom and sovereignty.”

Across America, Tea Party groups, liberty-minded Democrats, libertarians, and a broad coalition of activists have been turning up the heat on Agenda 21. Tennessee, for example, adopted a bipartisan state resolution slamming the UN scheme as an “insidious” and “socialist” plot that is completely at odds with American traditions of limited government, individual freedom, private property, and self-governance under the Constitution. Numerous other states are pursuing similar measures.

A bill similar to Alabama’s seeking a complete ban on Agenda 21 and unconstitutional UN “sustainability” efforts in Arizona was approved overwhelmingly in the state Senate. The legislation died in the state House even after clearing several hurdles, however, when the legislative session ended before a final vote could be taken. New Hampshire is reportedly working on a bill to ban Agenda 21 that sailed through the state House last month.

Meanwhile, local governments across America — under intense pressure from citizens and activist groups — are slowly awakening to what critics call the “dangers” of the UN scheme. Dozens of cities and counties have withdrawn from ICLEI in recent years, and as awareness continues to grow, that trend is expected to accelerate.

The UN, however, is doubling down on its controversial plan. In June, governments from all over the world will be meeting in Rio de Janeiro for the so-called “Conference on Sustainable Development” — known as Rio+20 for short. According to official documents released by the global body, the summit, headed by Chinese Communist Sha Zukang, will be seeking to dramatically transform human civilization under the guise of environmentalism.

Production, education, consumption, individual rights, and even people’s thoughts will all be targeted under the global plan to create a so-called “green economy,” the UN admitted. But with the tidal wave of opposition in America growing stronger every single day, analysts expect fierce U.S. opposition — if not from the Obama administration, at least from the increasingly outraged citizenry.

A Soros-Made “New World Order” Takes Shape at the UN

Major multinational corporations and the financial and non-governmental organization network of George Soros have taken effective control of a number of United Nations functions within the UN Secretariat and within the organization’s specialized agencies. The goal of this alliance is to re-draw the map of the world for the benefit of the global elites and the “top 1 percent.”

The United Nations, which once prided itself on transparency, has now become a bureaucratic behemoth where decisions are made in closed door meetings attended by diplomats, mostly from English-speaking Western countries; corporate representatives; NGO officials tied to Soros and other entities like the Ford and Rockefeller Foundations; and current and former CIA officers, some of whom act under U.S. State Department cover. It is a fact of life that today a number of UN agencies and elements are funded by private money.

Although South Korean Ban Ki-moon is the Secretary General of the UN, his most important deputies represent the interests of NATO and its allies. The Undersecretary General for Political Affairs is B. Lynn Pascoe, a former U.S. ambassador to Indonesia and Malaysia and is thought by many UN staffers to have links to the CIA. The Undersecretary General for Safety and Security is Gregory Starr, a former Director of the U.S. State Department’s Diplomatic Security Service who is also thought to have close links to the CIA. The Assistant Secretary-General for Strategic Planning and Policy Coordination is Robert Orr, the former Director of Global and Multilateral Affairs at the U.S. National Security Council on which the CIA is represented. The Executive Director of the UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF) is Anthony Lake, a former U.S. National Security Adviser.

The Under-Secretary-General for Peacekeeping Operations is Herve Ladsous of France who has served as French ambassador to Indonesia and China and who is a pro-NATO Atlanticist.

Perhaps no where is the Soros and CIA influence felt more than in the UN Development Program (UNDP), which is headed by Helen Clark, a former Prime Minister of New Zealand. However, Soros’s operatives are heavily present in every UN agency except for Peacekeeping Operations but it, too, is an ultimate target for the multi-billionaire Hungarian Jew who once cooperated with the Nazi occupation forces in wartime Hungary.

Soros is very close to former UN Deputy Secretary General and UNDP administrator Mark Malloch Brown of Great Britain. While UN Deputy Secretary General, Malloch Brown, now Lord Malloch Brown, resided rent-free at Soros’s estate in Westchester County, New York. The UN’s Global Compact is a brainchild former Secretary General Kofi Annan, who is now charged with easing the government of Bashar al Assad from power in Syria. Pushing the Global Compact, Malloch Brown, while UNDP administrator, invited multinational corporations to “use their purchasing power to help develop small and medium-sized enterprises across the developing world.” The Global Compact essentially gives multinational corporations a say in how projects in developing countries are carried out.

The UN has been holding a number of closed-door meetings and seminars at which the partition of UN member states has been discussed. Most of the meetings have been held under the direction of the UN Interagency Framework for Coordination on Preventive Action (the Framework Team or FT). The FT brings together representatives from a number of alphabet soup UN offices and specialized agencies, including:

DESA – Department of Economic and Social Affairs

DPA – Department of Political Affairs

DPKO – Department of Peacekeeping Operations

DOCO – UN Development Operations Coordination Office

EOSG – Executive Office of the Secretary General

FAO – Food and Agricultural Organization

ILO – International Labor Organization

OCHA – Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs

OHCHR – UN High Commissioner for Human Rights

OSAPG – Office of the Special Adviser for the Prevention of Genocide

PBSO – Peacebuilding Support Office

UNDP – UN Development Program

UNESCO – UN Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization

UNHABITAT – UN Center for Human Settlements

UNICEF – UN Children’s Fund

UN WOMEN – UN Entity for Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment

UNHCR – UN High Commissioner for Refugees

UNEP – UN Environment Program

UNDEF – UN Democracy Fund

UNFPA – UN Population Fund

WFP – World Food Program

WHO – World Health Organization

World Bank

IMF – International Monetary Fund

DPI – Department of Public Information

OSAA (Office of the Special Advisor on Africa)

DDA – Department for Disarmament Affairs

UNODC- UN office on Drugs and Crime

Much of the work of the FT is carried out under the direction of an American, Gay Rosemblum-Kumar. She heads up the Conflict Management Capacity-Building Project and the Peacebuilding Portal. While the names of these groups appear benign, they are at the center of a global plan by Soros, his NGOs, the CIA, and the global bankers to redraw the map of the world to suit the needs of multinational corporations and the United States and NATO.

Many FT meetings include speeches by Elie Wiesel, the Holocaust survivor who has encouraged international R2P (responsibility to protect) intervention in Libya, Sudan, Syria, and other countries. The FT also relies on a professional trainer in “Conversation” and “Non-violent Communications” (NVC). He has overseen “outsourcing transition,” i.e., informing employees of their lay-offs and “benefits” packages at Merrill Lynch, Charles Schwab, and Bank of New York Mellon. From advising companies on how to inform employees that their jobs are finished, the individual in question now advises the UN on how to tell entire countries that they are “finished.”

The FT also advances the work of President Obama’s “information czar” Cass Sunstein; his wife Samantha Power of the U.S. National Security Council; and Gene Sharp, the Albert Einstein Institution’s developer of the “themed revolution” concept.

The FT has also trained certain activists around the world, particularly in developing and other countries with pro-western governments, to use “the system” to effect change and has advised them “not to protest against their government.” The entire FT operation at the UN is bankrolled with Soros money.

Perhaps the most alarming aspect of the FT’s work is aimed at dividing existing nation-states into smaller entities. At a recent FT meeting titled “Nepal in Transition,” it was clear what strategy is being employed to carry out such divisions. The division of Nepal, with the ultimate goal being the marginalization of the powerful Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist), foresees “identity federalism,” the first step before actual secession of federal components.

A number of Nepalese political parties and movements recently signed an agreement that would create an “identity-based” federal republic in Nepal. The UN’s chief promoter of the strategy is Ian Martin, the Special Representative of the Secretary-General who has headed UN missions in Nepal and, most recently, in Nepal. Under the UN plan, Nepal would be transformed into a polyglot federal republic based on indigenous groups, nationalities, castes such as the Dalit, and Muslims. Martin has been involved in creating “federal” structures in Bosnia-Herzegovina and Libya. The latter has seen the eastern province of Cyrenaica, with its capital in Benghazi, proclaim its autonomy from Tripoli.

Some UN participants in the talks on Nepal spoke of the need to “eliminate” the Maoists in Nepal. Robert O. Blake, the Assistant Secretary of State for South Asian Affairs, and who has been linked to the CIA, participated in the Nepal conference. Blake reportedly helped engineer the February 2012 coup in Maldives that drove President Mohamed Nasheed, ironically a Soros favorite, from power. The coup, which ushered into power a pro-Islamic government said to be backed by former President Maumoon Abdul Gayoom, could set the stage for a Maldives comprised of autonomous atolls, with the United States able to acquire military bases in certain southern atolls as part of its encirclement of China policy.

Sri Lanka is also a target for the identity federalism engineers. During the 2008 presidential campaign, both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama received large campaign donations from front groups for the Tamil Tigers, a guerrilla force that favors an independent Tamil state in Sri Lanka and which is designated as a terrorist organization by the U.S. State Department. As a way of thanking the Tigers for their support, the Obama administration, Soros, and the International Peace Institute of Norway (which has been called a front for NATO, Soros, and the CIA and which supported the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam [LTTE] during their long civil war against the Sri Lankan government) have been pushing for a federal system in Sri Lanka that would create a Sinhalese, Tamil, and Muslim federation, with secession following.

A number of Norwegians are quietly pushing the identity federalism solution, some of whom, particularly Professor Johan Galtung, are Soros favorites..

To augment its identity federalism initiatives, Soros NGOs are also involved in creating a number of “partition studies” programs at major universities with international relations programs.

Myanmar is also a target for the identity federalists and partition specialists. The UN and Soros goal is to split Myanmar into various ethnic-based nations. Some of these nations would then provide the United States with military bases from which it can engage in intelligence, insurgency, and other operations in southern China. The human rights issue in Myanmar and China has been used by Soros as a tool to gain influence in both nations.

The ultimate goal of the EU / US / Japan / Australia / Canada / New Zealand / Soros alliance is the division of India, Russia, Indonesia, and China into smaller nations.

The U.N. and their friends at our universities are at it again.

“The World Happiness Report” Falsely Claims “Happiness Is Socialism” In Time for Rio 20+

By Sara Noble

The U.N. and their friends at our universities are at it again. They are spreading their socialist propaganda, this time with “The World Happiness Report” which ineptly claims that Happiness is Socialism, particularly if it’s the European kind (oh, yes, that is working so well).

The U.N. released the report last month in time for the Rio 20+ Summit.

This time, instead of trying to scare us with melting glaciers and dying polar bears, they are trying to show us how to be happy. They parade the usual good reasons about – eradicate disease, poverty, and create a sustainable earth.

One well-known goal of the U.N. is to spread global socialism with Marxism at its core. They believe global socialism will eradicate poverty and save the planet from mankind whom they see as destroying it. Mankind is the cause of the “climate change.”

To further its goals, the U.N. has entrenched itself, not only in governments, but in universities such as Columbia University.

The Earth Institute was established at Columbia University in 1995. The research institute’s mission is to address complex issues facing the planet and its inhabitants, with particular focus on sustainable development and the needs of the world’s poor.

The Director of The Earth Institute is Jeffrey Sachs, a world-renowned economist. He is a member of a Latino socialist think tank. He is Special Advisor to United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on the Millennium Development Goals, having held the same position under former UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan. He is co-founder and Chief Strategist of Millennium Promise Alliance, and is director of the Millennium Villages Project. He has led several task forces to shape their research agendas.

Professor Sachs has been the Director of the Earth Institute of Columbia University since 2002. The Earth Institute has also guided the adoption of sustainable development as a new major at Columbia College. The Earth Institute is home to cutting-edge research on all aspects of earth systems and sustainable development.

The Earth institute is concerned with HIV/AIDS, poverty, and climate change.

The World Happiness Report was released this year by The Earth Institute and Dr. Jeffrey Sachs was one of the authors. The U.N. released it in April. The report’s conclusions are, in a nutshell, that socialism throughout the world will bring happiness. It appears he is fond of European Socialism – who could not want to be Greece or Spain? They claim, with their unscientific statistics that Northern Europeans are the happiest – That would be Ireland for one with its increasingly failing and impoverished state.

The authors of the World Happiness Report take the subjective topic of happiness and manipulate it into what falsely appears to be “objective” and “scientific” stats with graphs and charts of survey results and other unscientific data. They all lead to the same conclusion unsurprisingly – socialism equals happiness.

Oddly, the report never defines happiness but it knows how to get there. The report also lays siege to our freedoms and sovereignty in the name of good causes.

It is 170 pages of socialist propaganda wrapped up in a pretty social justice, anti-poverty package. The authors of this document believe that it is the role of government to make the world happy. Such a belief, must of necessity, replace the individual with the collective. It reminds me of Howard Dean’s quote, No one can be happy unless everyone is happy.

They demean having money because money can’t bring happiness. They come to the conclusion that limitations on acquiring wealth in the name of equality is conducive to general happiness. They are redistributionists who believe happiness comes when all have moderate incomes – they want to limit wealth.

If you buy into this and agree that collectivism brings happiness, you have ceded all individual freedom to the greater good for a false sense of security under the absurd premise that we can spread wealth enough so there are no poor. Were it not for corruption and the right of each man to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, maybe that would be somewhat possible.

The report has given up on the term “global warming” for the more nebulous “climate change.” It’s a deliberate deception.

The World Happiness Report, which promotes “anti-poverty” and “climate change,” is a roadmap for happiness as a global socialist.

It is typical of the propaganda that sets the stage for the U.N.’s radical Agenda. Read the World Happiness Report for yourself. So much, if not all of it, can be dunked on a factual and philosophical level. It’s pure propaganda in preparation for Rio 20+.

The U.N. Agenda is not only about Agenda 21. It is about treaties such as the small arms, International Criminal Court, the Rights of the Child, and the Law of the Sea (LOST).

The U.N. recently called for the global management of the Earth’s resources. This is in anticipation of the Rio 20+ Summit. The scientists involved in this clarion call claim that they are not calling for regulatory bodies with the U.N. in charge but they are off to a dangerous start.

They want “constitutional frameworks,” “international protocols” and a “shared vision” for land and water management that will essentially rewire existing treaties and governments.

The report, “21 Issues for the 21st Century,” from the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) Foresight Process, is the culmination of a two-year deliberative process involving 22 core scientists. It is expected to receive considerable attention in the run-up to the Rio+20 United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development, which will be held in Rio, Brazil later this month.

The scientists who wrote the report say it focuses on identifying emerging issues in the global environment, and that it is not about mandating solutions. But its critics see an agenda lurking in its 60 pages, which call for a complete overhaul of how the world’s food and water are created and distributed — something the report says is “urgently needed” for the human race to keep feeding and hydrating itself safely.

It’s hard to imagine the last Agenda 21 conference on steroids but it appears that is what Rio 20+ will be.

For those who are unfamiliar with Agenda 21, Agenda 21 or ICLEI is an action plan of the United Nations dedicated to sustainable development and was an outcome of the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED) held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 1992. It’s coming back via RIO +20, which will take place the end of this month.

In 2012 the Republican National Committee (RNC) drafted a resolution opposing Agenda 21, calling it “a comprehensive plan of extreme environmentalism, social engineering, and global political control.”

Wiki refers to the RNC Resolution as a conspiracy conjured up by the John Birch Society. I don’t know how the John Birch Society feels about Agenda 21 or anything for that matter, but the RNC Resolution has nothing to do with that group nor is it based on any conspiratorial ideas.

I personally communicated with the sponsor of the RNC Resolution against Agenda 21, Ms.Helen Van Etten, who is the National Committeewoman from Kansas. She represents the Republican Party, not the John Birch Society, and she is not a conspiracy theorist.

Agenda 21 is a very real blueprint of climate preservation to be taken to every level of government throughout the world. The fact that the U.N. is behind it should concern people – they are not our friends.

Agenda 21/ICLEI/Sustainable Development, Smart Growth, whatever name you choose, all stand for the same thing, i.e. engulfing each community with an extreme climate change agenda requiring the redistribution of resources and money from the “rich” to the “poor.”

Va Right (click the link for more information) has put together the ICLEI member list below (June 1st). Unfortunately, my community on Long Island is on the list and has joined a consortium in the tri-state area – that’s how this socialist disease operates and spreads.
